I make "Actual news" region with text and simple image items.
With "Custom Search" autoquery I make news portlet with 10 latest news.
But I will make with PDK-Java discussion portlet, in which users can read and write about last published (last created text item display name and content) news.
My questions:
- How can I find text-item description and content in database?
- How I can sort text-items to find latest created in my region?

How can i find out the resolution and accuracy of this system.What is the maximum accuracy and resolution i will get from this system. Because optical signal to cmos conversion signal is given as a input to the counter.

Were you referring to the accuracy of the count register or the timing clock?
PXI-6602 specifications can be found in the NI 660x Specifications. The resolution of the count register is, as you’ve noted, 32 bits. This corresponds to a maximum count value of 4,294,967,295. As long as all of the edges are in accordance with TTL specifications, the accuracy of the count register is 100%.
On the other hand, the PXI-6602 baseclock accuracy takes on the baseclock accuracy of the PXI CLK 10 signal. Again, this is all found in the specifications.
You may also want to check out the NI 660x User Manual – it contains a lot of details on the operation of these counter/timer devices.

Hi,
I've been told by BT help chat that my address can get BT Faster Broadband but not Infinity. I'm connected to the Trowbridge SSTRO exchange which is apparently "FTTC available in some areas") Presumably that's to do with the distance of my house from either the exchange (2.2km) or the street cabinet (not sure which cabinet I'm connected to or where it is). If I've understood correctly, Faster Broadband uses the same fibre infrastructure as Infinity but because the speed can't be guaranteed as above 15Mb/s it can't be sold as Infinity. I am currently a Sky Talk subscriber so many of the BT utilities come back with an "number not recognised" error when I enter the phone number. So I guess I have 2 questions:
o If I take up Faster Broadband, how can I find out what speed I can actually expect?
o How can I find out how long it will be before I can get the full Infinity service?
I might add that a friend of mine in Trowbridge (1.1km from SSTRO) has full Infinity.

BT Infinity and BT Faster Unlimited Broadband is just BT Retail's brandname for their fibre broadband service.
The reason why BT Retail say you can't get FTTC BT Infinity is because the FTTC estimation is below 15mbps.
However you should be able to get BT Faster Unlimited Broadband (FTTC) which is the same as BT Infinity FTTC but for those who have been estimated 15mbps or less on FTTC
BT Retail set a minimum speed required in order to get BT Infinity which is an FTTC estimation of 15mbps or above, if you have been estimated less than 15mbps for FTTC then you won't be able to get BT Infinity but may be given the choice of BT Faster Unlimited Broadband which still uses the same FTTC Openreach infrastructure and equipment .
What does it say for your landline number when you go to http://dslchecker.bt.com/adsl , If you don't have a BT Wholesale compatible number then you can check by your address by going to http://dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/ADSLChecker.AddressOutput (won't be as accurate as the landline number checker, but will give you an idea of the estimation speed)
FTTC fibre broadband uses VDSL or VDSL2 signals that travel from the FTTC cabinet to your property via the existing copper (sometimes aluminium) line. The further away you are from your FTTC cabinet the slower the fibre FTTC broadband will be.
However VDSL/2 signals used for FTTC broadband connection degrade far quicker in terms of distance than conventional ADSL broadband signal do.
Generally speaking if your landline is over 1500 meters in length from the FTTC cabinet to your property then you may not be able to get BT Infinity as you may not be able to achieve over 15mbps from an FTTC service, though may be offered BT Retail's sub 15mbps FTTC service called BT Faster Unlimited Broadband.
Here is a graph that shows the ADSL(G.DMT,ADSL2 and ADSL2+) and VDSL/2 (FTTC) signal with distance. Please be aware that all ADSL connections are depend on distance from local exchange, where as FTTC (VDSL/2) connections are depend on distance from your FTTC (DSLAM) cabinet. Though all connection types are also depend on line quality.
This graph is also just a general estimation of what the speed could be achieved and not the actual speed you will receive. Also your line maybe longer than you would think as it may not go the direct way to either the cabinet or exchange.
As to your other question How can I find out how long it will be before I can get the full Infinity service?
The Openreach Superfast Fibre Broadband Scheme is being rolled out, done and managed by Openreach for ALL ISPs/CPs so BT Retail (a communication provider/ISP whom operates this forum) does not have much input or say whether Openreach will improve the FTTC fibre infrastructre in your area.
Unless Openreach (who owns and maintain the fibre broadband infrastructure in your exchange area) either installs a new PCP and Dslam cabinet nearer to your property, or you order FTTPoD (Fibre to the Premisies On Demand) [not currently being supported by any ISP] which may cost you thousands, then I'm afraid it may be several years or so until the FTTC fibre infrastructure is improved by Openreach.

They will only show up in iTunes if someone (your friend, their producer, or a fan) has submitted them to Gracenote.
If that did not happen, you can try identifying the tracks with an auto-tagging program such as Picard.

How can I copy text from Pages and paste as Unicode?

I notice that if I write a Pages document on my iMac (this is Pages 09 running under OSX Mavericks 10.9.1) and copy text that contains characters from the "Mac Roman" character set (like the Greek letter pi for example, and some other mathematical symbols), if I paste it into a text file on a PC (I'm running the Mac with Windows via Parallels), then these characters don't show up correctly. If they were copied as Unicode characters then I don't think the problem would exist. I thought that Pages used Unicode, but it doesn't apparently apply to stuff that gets onto the Mac clipboard. I do know that if I export a whole Pages document it is possible for it to be exported in Unicode, but I just want to copy small bits of text like mathematical formulae and paste them into Unicode-compliant applications. Is this possible? There's nothing in the Pages Preferences to suggest that it is. Is there any solution to this?

Tom, I'm sorry I think I have wasted your time. My initial experiments seemed to show that what I was trying to do didn't work, but now it all seems to work. No idea why. I think there is a problem somewhere, but not where I thought it was. I think what may be happening is that when the Mac clipboard sees some Mac Roman text, it converts and stores it in Unicode form, so things work as long as the receiving app is Unicode aware - or Parallels is doing the job for me, or Pages is. Good if this is true. The only issue then would be that, if a program for the PC is looking for characters by their encodings, it will have to use the Unicode ones to find things, whereas the equivalent code on a Mac will have to look for the Mac Roman encodings as well as Unicode.
Just to explain, I am not using a specialised mathematical formula editor, but I do expect my user to use the math symbols easily accessible on the Mac keyboard, particularly the Greek letter pi (lower case), division sign, less than or equal to, greater than or equal to, square root. The user can type text directly or paste it in from another application. On the PC side I am not using Microsoft Word but a program I'm developing that can create fields into which I can put text, similar I suppose to NotePad. Just to be able to be cross-platform, I expect users to use the built-in Windows Character Viewer or similar to make the same symbols accessible as in the Mac version.
If everyone was using Unicode the problem (if there is one) wouldn't exist.
I may well come back with a similar issue in the future, but my original issue, although the description was given in good faith, seems to be wrong. So I'm saying the problem is solved.

Hi,
you can't move and resize them with drag and drop, but you can do this programmatically using the next and previos navigation item property, as well as the positional and size properties of the items. Its a bit like shuffling cards, but it works great.

Aside from the fact that we have hijacked this thread - which we really shouldn't do - you would probably be better off posting questions or seeking advice in the iCloud portion of the Apple Support Communities. I'm sure that there are a lot of more experienced iCloud users on that site than I am.
I'm not a big believer in iCloud at this point, so my experience with it - other than downloading past purchases - is really pretty limited. I would not want to steer you down the wrong path.

no problem. As Francois said you can't do it programmatic in runtime.
But when you use the debug-mode you can see each global with name and value.
By the way: It's not good to not know all the globals in your application. This is one of the most important things you have to write down for your app. Create a wiki for such informations, so that all developer can share their information.

I've searched everywhere and can't find anywhere online in MyBT that has the actual details of my contract date and length. I know I renewed my line rental in advance and have Option 3 phone and broadband. I need to know, if I have paid a year's line rental, does that mean I'm automatically contracted to a year's Option 3 also?
It would be SO much simpler not to have to waste hours going round in circles on the website. It is as though contract info that is personal to the subscriber is deliberately hidden. I can't think of any other provider who does this.
