How can I get LR2 to "See" keywords previously entered in Bridge?

Few months ago I started using Lightroom 2. It works well for me but there’s one aspect which doesn’t and I can find a workaround. Any suggestions, please.
I had already keyworded my files in PS CS3 Bridge and imported my keyword hierarchy into LR2. But I understand LR2 will not recognise keywords which were entered by any other program, even PS CS3 Bridge. So, I’ve painstakingly re-entered the keywords using LR2 for about half the photos. But I’m still left with the other half, a few thousand, and I can’t help but think there has to be a better way. Am I missing something? I’ve read a couple of LR books but couldn’t see any workaround. Is there one? Seems odd to me that keywords entered in Photoshop CS3 Bridge cannot be read by or imported into Photoshop Lightroom. They’re both part of the same program. What have I missed? Are there improvements in LR3 which would help? Thanks. John

Hi Dorin, Thanks for your response. It set me on the right road to find the answer. In Bridge, my keywords are saved to .xmp files (is that good or bad?). Then I double checked something. Shortly after starting to use LR, I imported thousands of files, most of which were keyworded. This morning I went to look at one in Bridge (I could see the keywords) and in LR (I could see no keywords), same file. Then I removed that file from LR and imported it again. Now I can see the keywords in LR. I can only guess that when I imported them all originally, I must have had a setting which removed or did not import the keywords. That's the only answer to this which makes sense. So, now I know I should simply re-import files before working on them in LR. So, THANKS! All the best, John

you don't need MobileMe or anything fancy. I personally sync my Outlook calendar and my Outlook address book with three computers (two at the office and one at home)and besides I run Office 2003 on one, Office 2007 on the other and Office 2010 on the third, so it can't get more complicated than that, but it works 100%.
First sync Outlook with iTunes on one computer, having done that when you try to sync it to another machine, iTunes will recognize that it is synced with another computer and ask you if you want to merge the data, say yes, That's all there is to it.
It does not work for music as you rightly say but as far as Calendars and Contacts are concerned it's flawless and transparent.

From the menu bar, select
 ▹ System Preferences ▹ Energy Saver ▹ Power Adapter
and uncheck the box labeled Put the hard disk(s) to sleep when possible, if it's checked.
If the drive has more than one interface (USB, FireWire, Thunderbolt, eSATA), try one of the other interfaces.
Check that the data cable is securely inserted at both ends.
Try a different cable.
If you're connecting the drive through a hub, connect it directly to a built-in port on the Mac.
If you're connecting it directly, try a different port.
Disconnect all other devices on the bus, or as many as possible.
Test the drive with another Mac. Test another drive with this Mac.
If the drive is bus-powered, but has an AC adapter, connect the adapter.
Start up in Recovery mode and launch Disk Utility. Is the drive recognized?
Start up in Safe Mode and test.
Reset the NVRAM.
Reset the System Management Controller.
If the drive doesn't work under any of the above conditions, and if another drive does work with the same Mac, then the drive is malfunctioning.

How can I get iPhoto to see the edited iPhone 4s photo?

I have a new iPhone 4s. I take a picture. I edit it and save it to the iPhone. Then, I sync my phone with my Mac, open iPhoto. Only the original photos appear, not the one I edited and saved. Yet, if I e-mail the photo to myself, I can see the edited version. So, how do I get iPhoto to see the edited version.

8 MP is the resolution of the camera sensor. Images are compressed when stored so quite a bit smaller. The compression ratio depends on the level of detail in the image.

How can I get a listing of all the orders which has been entered via website using webtools.
We need to make sure that all the orders which has been entered from website it is synced to B1 instead of looking at the synch error messages. The problem is that when I run the report from Webtools it displays all the orders even the ones which got entered in B1 and got synched to Webtools.

Try running this query. This will give you a listing of all orders that were placed using a theme. Any orders that were synched from Business One should not appear in this list. It should only contain orders placed through the website.

First, with the camera connected via firewire to your mac, go to applications: utilities: system profiler and make sure the firewire is showing the camera. If not, it's possible the firewire port is burned out on the camera or on the computer. You can also try swatting out the firewire cable.
HDV is always a little tricky. Make sure your easy setup matches your shooting format. If I remember correctly, the camera may shoot some formats that are not compatible with capturing in fcp. You can usually display the shooting format in the cameras lcd format. Let us know what it is.
When you've matched the fcp easy setup to the format you've shot, quit final cut, start the camera playing with a video signal, and then launch fcp and start log and capture and see if the camera is recognized and if there's video in the log and capture window.

How can I get my buttons see through again. they are gray now.

But with the exception of Add-ons, the toolbar buttons are grey by default.

CC mostly asks for serial number if:
1. There is no CC registered to the ID with which you had signed.
2. There are entries of Adobe in Host files of the computer.
3. The activation count has increased.
