How can I get status of 'Disable Database Logging'?
Hi,
in my sequence file at first I want to ask by dialog, whether sequence file should running with or without database logging. In dependance of this I want to set/reset the boolean property related with 'Disable Database Logging' checkbox in the 'Database Options' dialog callable from the editor menue 'Configure>DatabaseOptions...'.
These setting should be only valid while sequence file is running. At next sequence file start the original setting from 'Database Options' dialog should be applied.
Can anybody tell me, where I can find the boolean property for these? I searched in 'RunState.Caller...' but couldn't find any variable congruent with actually setting of 'Disable Database Logging' checkbox in the 'Database
Options' dialog.

Hi,
You can include the sequence callback DatabaseOptions in your sequence file which will override the callback of the process model.
A DatabaseOptions container is passed to this callback by reference, therefore you can setup the exact requirements for your testing and override the settings defined by the Menu Item Configure | Database Options. All the setting defined in the Database Options dialog are passed to the callback DatabaseOptions in the container 'DatabaseOptions'.

if desc is just the name of the file, then make sure that such a file exists in the proper folder.only then the link works..
that is, if desc is 'a.jpg' then a.jpg should be existing in the same folder as your html is. -
How can I get Status of the report using after report trigger
I want to get Status of my report on GUI . I am aware that we can look into XMLP_SCHED_OUTPUT table to get all the required details but I am not aware as how I can pull data from this table and make it available on GUI screen. Or is there any way to use jobid of the report and use in Data template of the same report?
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.What/which GUI? One of your own making? Design it and query from the table(s) of interest, and populate fields based on the results. Which job ID? The latest or one of your choosing? Add a drop down list or menu and let the user select which job. Fairly vague requirements you've listed.

...waiting your answer....You're probably better off consulting the documentation for the DOS program you're trying to deal with than hoping someone here will be able to guess what program you're using, identify the structure of the files, and tell you how to extract the data into something Oracle can import.

I dropped my macbook yesterday and it turned itself off. When I tried to turn it back on all I got was a white/gray screen with a flash folder with a ? in the middle of it? What does this mean and how do I get it to stop so I can log onto my laptop?Deev
Normally the question mark on the gray screen means it can't find the operating system. Have you tried booting up from the installation DVD? Do that, and when you come to the screen where it wants to begin a system installation you'll notice in the menubar where it say's utilites. Click on that and choose disk utility. from there choose your disk and try to verify and repair the disk. If you can you may want to also try and new install of the system. I don't know how much critical data you have, but reinstalling is an option. did you purcahse you from an Apple store? If you did you may want them to look at it. Hope this helps.

How can I get status of a production order from database?

I need to write a report to show user details about the production order. Because there are some customized linkages between our sales order and production order, we can't use COOIS directly.
But I met a problem when writing this report. I found that after TECO, all lines on reservation of the production order will be set deletetion flag. So, I need to tell which orders had been TECO-ed. You can use function module STATUS_READ
You need to pass it the object number - for a PP order header it will be something like OR000001000000
You can also set an indicator to only retrieve active status values.
The FM returns a table of status codes which are in the internal format and look like I0002
Then use table TJ02T for system statuses to determine what these internal codes mean. If you have user statuses you should be able to work out where they are stored by looking at the technical information behind the configuration transactions.

If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone and use Remote Wipe to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.
You can also wipe the iOS device by installing the FindMyiPhone app on another iOS device and using that app to wipe the device.
Otherwise you need a computer with iTunes and an internet connection

When I click on the Firefox logo it owns screen and the mail box button appears. I click on that and it requires me to enter my e-mail address and password. There is a box with a checkmark in it to stay logged in but it doesn't work. Whether it is once a day or 4 times a day I go to Firefox to look at mail I have to put in the full e-mail address and password even though the box is checked to stay logged in. I really like firefox as a browser but we have to fix this for me to stay with FireFox.
Apps can only be updated using the same Apple ID and password they were originally purchased with.

How can I get a detail block to requery after a database change?
Hi, I have a master/detail form. When the status of the master record changes, I need to update a date in one of the detail records. If I use SQL to update the detail row in the database in the ON-CHANGE trigger of the master block, how can I get the detail block to requery to show the change? When I try doing a go_block from any of the ...UPDATE triggers, it says it is restricted.

Do you have a "Relationship" defined between your Master and Detail blocks? If so, you simply need to requery your master block and the detail block will automatically be requeried. If you can't use a relationship, then you can use can create a timer in the trigger that updates the database and then in the When-Timer-Expired (WTE) trigger you can go to the detail block and execute a query. For example:

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

I need to write a tool to generate java file which will be used to hold the resultset of a stored procedure of Oracle. Is there any API call or tools to connect to db and then get the meta data of the return cursor instead of reading stored procedure definition on my own?

Hannaif i execute a Oracle stored procedure, the resultset of a cursor is returned. It's easy to know the meta data at the runtime.
However, could i get the meta data about the resultset of a cursor before runtime? Such as by connecting to the database and ask it about meta data of a specified stored procedure?

If your phone is disabled because you forgot your passcode, restore the phone on the last computer it was synced with. If you do not have access to the last computer it was synced with, you will have to force it into recovery mode & restore as a new device. See http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212.
