How can I get the Ask Me widget in Captivate 5 to use Outlook Express?

I want to use the Ask Me widget, but I have a customer that doesn't have Microsoft Outlook for their employees. They use Outlook Express as their email client. I have asked them to open Outlook Express when they are in the CBT and click the Ask Me button, but it gives them an error message that says "could not perform the operation because the default mail client is not properly installed."
Is there any way to have it recgonize Outlook Express as their default mail client?

I'd be checking to see how a basic MailTo: function works on the affected PC. Just visit a web page that has a clickable link that opens email. Click the link and observe the behavior. You may find yourself surprised.

We are currently switching to a new wireless network throughout our school district and I have pushed commands to connect to the new and remove the old. However, any Macs that have "Ask to join new networks" enabled are jumping over to our unsecure guest network, even if that network has been removed from the list of Preferred Networks. So far the fix has been to remove the guest network from the list of Preferred Networks and then disable Ask to join. The only issue I'm running into now is I have been unable to find a terminal command to change this setting. Once I have the command I can write a script and send that out to all of the Macs.
So is there a way to disable "Ask to join new networks" using command line?

How can I get the application "Preview" back? I tried using both the cds that were given and I googled it and it still doesn't work. I still have "Preview" but its corrupted so it doesn't let me open any pics or anything. What can I do?

Download this shareware program, it will allow you to "peek" inside the pkg and dmg files of your OS X installer disk that comes with the computer so your can replace the copy of Preview with a new one.

Look in your "username"/Library/Preferences folder for these three files and move them to your desktop, reboot and relaunch Preview

They get rebuilt automatically. Check to see, if so and everything is fine, then Trash the 3 files on the desktop

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone (if you're using iOS 7), then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. I am developing one mail sending application. I am getting mailid , from address, mail body from one Swing. In one JTextArea i am typing i have typed some matter. When i call the content of JTextArea using
jtx.getText() method, i am getting all the content as one paragraph. That means there is no indentation which was there in TextArea.

I need to write a tool to generate java file which will be used to hold the resultset of a stored procedure of Oracle. Is there any API call or tools to connect to db and then get the meta data of the return cursor instead of reading stored procedure definition on my own?

if i execute a Oracle stored procedure, the resultset of a cursor is returned. It's easy to know the meta data at the runtime.
However, could i get the meta data about the resultset of a cursor before runtime? Such as by connecting to the database and ask it about meta data of a specified stored procedure?

a mirror For example, I have a class Customer in my application, and I can get an ObjectReference through JDI during runtime. But how can I get the target VM's object which is a real instance of Customer, by which I can invoke methods defined in Customer?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
Copy them from your PC to a flash drive or an external drive, then open iPhoto and select Import to Library.
Depending on your settings, iPhoto might open automatically and ask if you want to import them when the device (camera or flash drive or external drive) containing the images is connected.
At the end of the import, iPhoto will ask if you want to delete or keep the photos on the other device. Keep until you're absolutely certain all images are imported correctly and you've viewed them in iPhoto. It's always nice to have a backup.

How can i get the previous version of iTunes back

I have a MacBook with a DVD/CD drive, Mac OS X (10.7.5). I recently updated to iTunes version 12.0.1.26. It seems to be designed for Macs without a DVD/CD drive. How can I get the previous version back? I don't have a back up or use time machine.

Thanks Chris, there a number of problems I'm experiencing. When I insert a CD, despite the preference being ticked, I nolonger get the box that asks me if I want to import. When I did manage to import I couldn't find where the file had gone. Perhaps what I need is a good user guide for the latest version of iTunes because at this point the impression I have is unless I'm buying from iTunes nothing seems to work as it previously did. It is impossible to add anything to my library.
I'd be the first to admit I'm no computer nerd and all the information I've found so far to try and sort out my difficulties don't seem to work. Can someone please tell me where can I get a good user guide for iTune 12.0.1.26 because I find it far from intuitive? At least then I have a chance of working out if it's me or the machine.

To find the Total cpu time , cummulative users we go for St03 and extract it. The details are available for only last 2 months. How can i get the prevous months details. Is there any special job or parameter meant on SAP behalf, so tat it clears the history. If it runs kindly tel me wat job or parameter it is. And also tel how can i get the previous months details.

U should ask that to your basis, I know the system has the statistic data for a certain period only, the older data are deleted: I don't know if before deleting it a backup is done....but I don't believe

Thanks to Dave Sawyer for posting information about re-downloading an app which has been deleted. I deleted the app from iTunes. Then, when I synched, iTunes asked me if I wanted the items on my ipod touch copied back into iTunes. I said yes and then synched.
Readdledocs is now working again. It is no longer frozen. However, I have learned my lesson. I will download only pdf's from now on. I don't think it works so well with epub files. The text reflow feature of Readdledocs is exactly what I need to use for my work documents on my ipod touch.
