How can I hide a field a table from SE16

Hi all,
I have an urgent requirement, can anyone help me? How can I hide or mask any field of a table from SE16. Also how can I restrict the user not to put a restriction on a particular field of a table so that this field should not be accessed for SQVI/SQ01.

You could hide the column, by using the standard functinoality of the ALV output, you would need to hide the column, and save a default layout. This way the next time you come into this display, the column will not be there.

How can I hide filter row in table?

Hi experts,
I've made a table with filter but as I need to use DropDownByIndex UI element for one of my filter cell editors I've added a fixed top cell to this column. And when the onChange action of this dropdown is called I just pass its value to the filter attribute and fire the filter action. But now I have to filter cells on this column - the fixed one and the default one that appears when i bind the filterValue property of the column. My question is how can I remove or hide this defsault cell and use (see) only the fixed top cell that I've added.

Thanks for your replies but I found other solution to my problem. I simply create filter for hidden columns and I'm using only the fixed top cells as filter. I do that by passing the cell values to the filter of the table and fire the filter action. This way I can use any type of UI for my filter (fixed top) cells.

I have table that I add rows to and I want to remove rows starting with the last row. For example if I have a table with 20 rows how do I remove rows 16-20. I can't figure out how to do this.

For sales order, use user exit :
MV45AFZZ and FORM userexit_field_modification.
For deliveries, use BADI :
LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC (see with Tcode SE18) and method CHANGE_FIELD_ATTRIBUTES.
Create implementation in ref to this badi with Tcode SE19.

I can define the different Category value by IB01 or IB02,then I can select them at the Tasklist's component table.But sometimes I need batch input such as LSMW,so pls kindly tell me how to setup it,thanks!

Hi,
BOM is created with some component and item category.
In task list when you go to component, in normal case one selects and copies BOM over there by clicking component selection button.
Once BOM is copied over there the BOM item category will get copied. As it is BOM item category in Task list it is greyed and it will get copied automatically from BOM.
You specify item category required by you in IB01 or IB02 and then use that BOM in task list. Go to componenet tab and click component selection button. Once BOM is copied over there the BOM item category will get copied

Hi,, i've got a question about, how can i hide an element of a view?, this element colud be a group, a label, an input field, any element that i can put in the view layout.
My view has an ALV, an inputfield and a Table with a button, so when i click on a line of the alv, it shows data in the table and in the inputfield, and when i click on the button of the table, i want to hide the table and the inputfield, until i clik on the alv again to make appear the table and the inputfield.

It can be done easily by <b>context binding</b> the visibility property of the table and input field UI element to a node attribute whose type would be WDY_BOOLEAN.
1. Initially the node attributes default value would be 'X'.
2. When you click the button in the ALV, in the event handler of that button change the binded node attribute value to ' '.
3. When on lead selection of the table again change the binded node attribute field value to 'X'.
4. Below is the sample code to read the binded node attribute and toggle the visiblity attribute to 'X' if it is ' ' and vice versa.

How can I format a field in the form creator?

How can I format a field in the form creator? It's putting the same text in all the fields within a table. I want each field within the table to have different text. As soon as you click out of the table, all the text is the same.
I even changed the fields from a text box to a drop-down list so a person can make their selection, which will be a quantity from 0-9. There are two of these such fields. You make your selection in each, click off the table and both fields show whatever I selected in field 1. The original Qty I selected in the bottom field was a 5 but it changed it to whatever is in the top field on it's own. I've added a screen shot.

This behaviors usually happens when you create the fields but a copy paste command from one of the fields. The copy paste command assumes that your intentions is to maintain a copy of the field in two separate locations (e.i, a form field "company name" printed in each and every page of a multi-page form document.
Go to the properties fields of each field and make sure to assign unique form field names.

How can i hide object in line chart?

In Webi XI R2, i am preparing a line chart for which on x-axis i have two objects like "month name" and "month ID". The purpose of "month ID" is to sort the month name. So sorting is applied on "month ID" column. Now how can i hide this "month ID" column, but still sorting is applied so that month name is displayed in correct order.
secondly, on the x-axis values are displaying like "AUG/00987","SEP/00988". i.e Month name/month ID. How can i make the line chart to display only month name but still sorting needs to be applied.
Please advise.

You can try to hide the column from the webi report in a TABLE, and might just work with the table, and make them charts.

I want to change the characteristic value "Sales Order (KAUFN)" by derivation.
But I cannot select the characteristic field on target field.
The field "Sales order(KAUFN)" doesn't exist there.

(for sales order item) as target fields of derivation step 'enhancement'
you have to modify the coding of subroutine EXIT GET_ALLOWED_TARGETS

Actually sales order number and sales order item shouldn't be changed
by derivation (therefore they are no valid target fields in standard)
but if you need to fill them within an enhancement this modification
will help you to define them as valid target fields. But this is just
the technical frame so far; the logic from which table you'd like to
derive the sales order number correctly depends on your implementation
of the enhancement! I just want to ask you to be rather careful with
the implementation of the exit so that the sales order number isn't
changed in cases that shouldn't be concerned.
