How can I know node include a node.

I want to know a node include another node..
I use hasChildNodes... but it's not work
xml child concept.. very confuse..

It's my xml source
the codetype node has a value
but embed or param has a childe node...
How can I know...
help me...

I solved my problem by myself..
but I am not sure where i'ts is good or not.
