How can I make an mp3 play automatically in one Scene (NO buttons)? I have been searching the net for answers for over 10 hours with no answer... My movie will not be for the web, it needs to be portable (CD or flash drive)...

You just need to look in Help for the Sound class and possibly SoundChannel... if you have an MP3 in your library - right click it, and go to properties. Set the sound to export for ActionScript - and give it a class name - mySound will work. Then you can make it play with something as simple as:
var a:SoundChannel = new mySound().play();

ok but how I dont want to create webserver. I mean I can't affort it at this stage of my education. I can afford a webhosting. there are lot of opitons for webhosting are availabe. I can buy one for me. But I want to know what features of java or anything else should be available on that server. 2nd is what do u mean by socket programming. I understand http programming. It includes servlets and jsps. but what is socket programming and why i need it in this project.

How can I make my iPod sync automatically?

When I first got my iPod I chose for it NOT to sync automatically but I should have. I have no idea how to get back to those settings but want to change it so it syncs on it's own. I've read a few topics here and noticed stuff about Summary tabs but the thing is, I have nothing like that on mine, I have no setting options whatsoever. I tried registering my iPod on here to see if that would do something but the thing is, it asked for payment details but I don't want to pay for anything. I don't use the iTunes store to download my music, I transfer it from another downloading software.

This is not really possible, since there are any number of free utilities on the Internet that will reveal a "hidden" network in seconds. Anyone who wants to see your network will be able to do so very quickly and easily.
iOS devices like the iPhone and iPad often have difficulty connecting to a "hidden" network as well.
If you still want to do this......
Open Finder > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility
Click on the Time Capsule icon, then click Edit in the smaller window that appears
Click the Wireless tab at the top of the next page
Click the Wireless Options button near the bottom of the page
Enter a check mark in the box next to Create hidden network
Click Save
Click Update at the lower right of the window and allow a minute for the Time Capsule to restart

Text messages don't always send; I get a red flag message. How can I make them re-send automatically?

This drives me nuts: Occassionally, but not often, I will send a text message and it does not go through. This happens both when I am using iMessage or regular text messages. It gets me into a lot of trouble: I assume my text message has gone through, then check my phone half an hour later and realize the message has not been sent. I don't even get a vibration or a notice that it hasn't sent; it's only when I check my messages that I see the red flag but my undelivered message.
How can I get the iPhone to just automatically keep trying to re-send these messages until it goes through, or at the very least to give me a notification buzz when the message doesn't go through so I know to manually re-send it myself?

At this time that option does not exist. The only workaround that I can think of is to watch and make sure the text sends before closing the app.

How do I make a project play automatically

I have recorded 4 presentations, all with a power point presentation first slide. When doing one of them I found somewhere a setting so that it starts playing automatically, the other 3 need the user to either click on the start button on the toolbar or use the enter key. I have searched and searched to find how I managed to get the one starting automatically but can not now find it - any help from anyone would be much appreciated as I would like them all to start playing automatically.

Well, it's because you didn't advise up front what version of Captivate you are using. As you seemed to be a new user, it would appear I mistakenly assumed you were using version 4.

As for auto starting, if you are using Captivate 3 or older, it should already be playing automagickally. This would infer you have a Button, Click Box or Text Entry Box object on the first slide. Any of those objects will typically pause the playback until they are dealt with.

Or another way is by selecting the ringtone Go to itunes songs you own and right click the song you want as your ringtone. Scroll down to where it says create ringtone. Then a window will pop up thats lets you select from where to where you want the ringtone in the song. You can get from 5 sec to 30 sec. but remember the song should have been bought from the app store. then it is possible.

Yes. In addition to what Bee Jay said, here are some other tips.
First record a pattern that's a few bars long, and don't tweak any knobs while you're doing this. Set a Cycle Range, because we want to play this pattern over and over again. Press A to make Automation visible (although there isn't any yet).
Find the channel strip for this track, either in the Inspector or in the Mixer window. Just above the meter, look for the button that says "Off." Hold down this button and a menu will appear. Select "Touch." Press Play. As the pattern plays the first time, pick a knob in the ABL2 window, and mess with that knob. At the end of the pattern, let go of the knob, and then watch what the knob does as the pattern plays again. Then as the pattern plays some more, mess with another knob. You'll notice that curves are being drawn in the Arrange window as you mess with the knobs.
This should help get you started.

Crashed Hard Drive, how can I sync music from Iphone to new one?

I understand that the iPhone is intended only to sync with only one computer and for that reason it won't allow me to transfer my music from my iPhone to another computer. Problem is my old hard drive died (along with all my music inside).

That was a pretty bad assumption. The iTunes content sync is one way: Computer to phone. Apple makes no provision to get content off your phone and into your iTunes library, as it's expected that you backup that library, and no, the iPhone is not a backup device, not designed as such and never intended to be such.
For purchased music from the iTunes store, you can File>Transfer Purchases, before syncing and after you've authorized your computer Store>Authorize this Computer. Music ripped on your own or photos synced to your phone will have to be extracted using third-party software before you do anything else:

I just found the answer. iTunes will play consecutively the songs that are checked, if Controls --> Repeat Off is checked. When I asked the question I had unchecked all songs.

Mp3 links no longer stream in firefox 4.0 but it works in 3.6, how can i make 4.0 play a mp3 stream like before

i dont think this is a problem with the quick time plugin as it works fine on 3.6. is it maybe more the way firefox 4.0 looks at the .mp3 links and only wants to save it? i like the fact you can stream links rather than have to save them first before you can hear them...

Also to add to this, I have tried Microsofts HTML 5 test drive demo on the "HTML5 Audio Player + XML Playlist" section and Firefox 4.0 doesn't play steamed MP3 files from this.
If it's other streaming formats such as OGG or WAV, then Firefox will play them with no problems.

If you don't have one already, make a smart playlist for Music Videos with the parameter "Media Kind" is "Music Video".
Then, find all of your music videos, select them all, and make sure that their media kind is indeed set to "Music Video" and not something else like "Movie" or "TV Show". You can do this by select all of your music vids, right click them, click Get Info, go to Options and find it there.
Now you should have a playlist which has all of your Music Videos, and will automatically update as you add new music videos. Like any other playlist, if you play one, the item in the playlist will automatically play right after the conclusion of the previous one
