How can i modify the check constraint in the table. This table containts check constraint, condition is code_value between 1 and 4. codevalue is column name.
Please suggest me.

How Can I Modify an Existing Schedule using the WS-SDK?

I'm trying to modify the scheduling info of a pre-existing schedule. I've got the schedule details from the database and modifying them, and then called BIPlatform.Schedule with the modified infoObject. However what it does is create a new schedule with the new schedule details, leaving the old one unchanged. Is it possible to modify the old instance, or do I need to delete the old instance andjust create a new one?

How can I modify supplied WP template & keep the changeable fields eg date

Sorry couldn't find any details on this. If I use one of the supplied 'letter' templates - it includes a date field which is created when I create document. If I modify the rest of this template and then save it as a template - I lose this automatic date insertion facility.
Also is there a method of automatically inserting the document name into the 'insert filename' field when the file is saved?
Has anybody written a guide on advanced template design?

It seems that the OP is facing a behaviour which was described several times.
In some Apple delivered templates, is a date field which grabs the current date when we create a new document.
This date remains as is whe we re-open the saved document some days after.
If we create a template, we may insert a date and ask it to update when re-opening the document.
If we save such a document as a template, it will apply the creation setting so, when we use it to create a document the date of this new document will continue to change on opening which is annoying.
Getting the behaviour of the Apple delivered template requires a bit of surgery in the Index.xml file of the custom template.
This trick was described several times in a Pages forum.
A quick search with the keystring *_template AND date AND index.xml_* brought the dedicated messages to the surface (of course I enlarged the time range to search to All).

Why can not disable/drop the constraint and recreate new constraint with requirements?

How can I implement a check constraint like this

A column can have this values: first 3 letters can be �ing� �fig� �erd� then it can either have �1,2,4,5� and then 3 more numbers.
Like this: ing1003 or fig2432 etc.
I have tried this:
columnName LIKE �[ing-fig-erd][1-2-4-5][0-9][0-9][0-9]�
But it doesn�t work. I have been looking around and haven�t found anything that can help me with this.
Anyone got any suggesting?

CHECK(code LIKE '[ing,fig,erd,][1,2,3,4,5][0-9][0-9][0-9]'))This is a regular expression. Oracle database does not yet support regular expressoions (10g will). So what it is actually doing is apllying the whole string as a literal. Because there are no wild cards, any row where code literally does not equal '[ing,fig,erd,][1,2,3,4,5][0-9][0-9][0-9]' will fail i.e. all of them.
If you really want to use regular expressions either have a look at the PL/SQL package OWA_PATTERN or consider importing the Java Regexp package and implementing some Java Stored Procedures. Alternatively you can could cook up something using translate or replace.

How to modify a CHECK constraint.

We need to modify a check constraint to allow new values. Is there a way we can modify the existing constraint or should we drop and recreate including new values.
Example:
We have a table SLOG and SNO is a column accepting numeric values. Currently there is a constraint on this column so that it accepts values of 1,2,3,4. Now I want to insert a value of 5 to this column. Since there is a CHECK constraint on this column it prevents the value of 5.
So the constraint needs to be modified. Is there a way we can modify the constraint using a DDL command (like ALTER TABLE) or should I drop and re create the constraint.

Is there a way we can modify the constraint using a DDL command You can just MODIFY the state of your constraint ( constraint_state ).
So, if you want to modify the definition of your constraint you have to drop and create the CHECK constraint with its new definition.

How can I modify the High Speed Data Reader VI to show correct time information in x-axis?

I am just a beginner learning the LabVIEW programming currently.
I have a PXI 6115 DAQ card and have to make a hardware timed acquisition VI for maximum performance. Thus I use the High Speed Data Logger VI for data acquisition.
However, when I read my data by using the High Speed Data Reader VI, it doesn't show its correct time information in the graph.
How can I modify the High Speed Data Reader VI to show correct time information in x-axis?
I hope you can explain easily because I am a beginner.

First, I couldn't seem to find that example either on computer or on the NI sites.
The problem that we're running into is stated in the article that I pointed to - when real time VIs are running, then the OS will stop updating the OS clock. TO us it looks like the clock is losing time. There is a hardware clock on the PXI and it is read only during boot up to set the OS clock. Our discussions with NI have not led to a solution for this problem without checking the time on start and then checking the tick count (which does not lose time) and calculating what the current time is. No access to the hardware clock is supplied.
We're still working on a simpler way to get accurate time.

First please find the job name in SM37 for FIGL and check the job status to be in "released" status. Select that job and go to job menu and click on change. then it will take you to the job screen where you have "job class". Here you can change the job class to "A" to get to high priority.
If you are unable to edit the job then create a new job with the same variants by clicking STEP button in the Job screen.
Try these steps, let me know if are able to do so.

Just using Address Book this can't be done, but if you are prepared to try a little Applescript it is easy. This script will set the city for example - but only if there is already an address.

Thanks for your prompt reply. However, the sources you gave do not seem to apply exactly to my situation. I have attached some screenshots that show what the dialogue box looks like for a pdf download, and what my settings in the Apps panel of Options are. You will note in the first screenshot that I have checked the box to handle this file type automatically; however, the next time I try to download a file of that type, the same dialogue box appears looking exactly like the one shown, so checking the "automatic" option appears to do nothing. The files to be downloaded from my Gmail messages are not generic or altered file types - they are shown as pdf, doc, docx, etc. So while your intent was good, your post did not help. Thanks anyway.

In the instanceconfig.xml add a <PivotView> element under <ServerInstance> if one does
not exist already.
Within the <PivotView> element add an entry that looks like:

Not easily or readily available as of now. It WILL be part of the new features in the NetWeaver 04 release. (*This same question was asked in my EP6 certification class one week ago and this is the answer I got.)
