How can I not wait for a RFC response

Hi everyone, i want to execute an RFC and not wait for the response, i don´t care, so, is there a way to achieve this ? thanks

Hello Isaac,
If you are calling the RFC from WebDynpro then you have to wait for the RFC response. However, there is a way that you can get early response from a RFC.
Suppose you are using RFC1 in your program and it contains business logic. Now, don't directly call the RFC1, instead, write another RFC2 which calls RFC1 asyncronously. This way, when you call RFC2 it automatically call RFC1 and does not wait for any response for RFC1
You can call RFC1 from RFC2  asynchronously:
CALL FUNCTION RFC1 STARTING NEW TASK taskName
Your WD application will immediately get a response from RFC2 while RFC1 still executing.

    2. How does main vi can control already running subvi in parallel to it. In the above example I would like to start the subvi from main vi when start\stop flag is true and would like to stop it when the flag is false.
    3. How do I call the subVI with one set of parameters from main vi, when same subVI is running with other set of parameters already from main vi(subvi being called in a case with different set of parameters each time when the case is called). Means, how do I keep track of reentrant subvi (different calls to same vi)from the same main vi.

    Sorry, but if you did not set up Find My iPhone, then unless your iPhone is set up with a company Microsoft Exchange server or other mobile device management system, there is no way to wipe the iPhone of its data, though if you had a screen lock in it, the thieves/finder will probably restore it and wipe the data anyway. There is no way to lock the iPhone permanently to prevent someone from using your iPhone, though you can report the loss to your cell carrier and they may be able to blacklist it from connecting to their network.

    The iPhone is not available for legitimate sale in Bangladesh. There are no supported carriers in Bangladesh. If you can purchased an unlocked iPhone in a neighboring country, you should be able to use it with any compatible carrier, but warranty service and support will not be available to you outside the country of origin.

  • How do I optimize "Waiting for the next frame"

    When running my swf file in release build, the first time I start the browser after cleaning the browser cache, the .swf will appear in less than a second.  If I attach scout, I can see it is around .7 seconds to finish.
    However, after this run all subsequent times I load the page, it takes ~3 seconds.
    When I look at scout, I see almost identical CPU and memory use , but it is spending ~2.3 seconds "Waiting for the next frame".  (almost an extra 700ms per frame).
    There is no requirement for animation, all of the content is very static.   I'd just like to render it as fast as possible.
    I know it's not related to caching the .swf file because I have tried turning off the caching (by adding a random parameter) and verified using Httplogger that it is always downloading a new .swf file.  (I turned back on caching).  So I'm kind of not sure what to do next...
    What things can I try to optimize this?  Are there places I can read about this issue?
    (P.S.  >>  I notice it spends a lot more time "Waiting for the next frame" when I build a debug version.  Don't know if that's relevant...)

    There's nothing you can do about "Waiting for next frame" - this is simply the time when Flash Player has finished doing everything it needs to do for the frame, and waiting for the OS to wake it up again. This depends on the framerate you set in your swf - roughly speaking, the waiting time is the budget (1/framerate), minus the time Flash Player spends doing actual work.

    btw, you shouldn't look at performance in a debug swf - you'll get wildly misleading results.

  • HP SimplePass not waiting for my finger swipe

    I have the HP SimplePass software installed and the Validity driver installed. The fingerprint reader is enabled and working.
    My problem is that when I go to enrol my finger the software tells me to click on a figer to enroll it, when I click on the finger the software flashes the enrollment screen, with the 0% loading bar on it, then it switches to a message saying "It looks like you are having some trouble. Do you want to try again." I try again and the same thing happens.
    I have made sure the sensor is clean and the blue light beside the sensor is activated. The issue appears to be the program not waiting for me to swipe my finger.
    Any help or ideas as to how to fix this would be much appreciated.

    I dislike this series of the Support pages -- there is not a Validity Sensor Driver listed for this Series notebook at the Support pages.  It is not common; it does happen for a few models.

    The problem is that I cannot verify beyond what I can find elsewhere that your fingerprint reader hardware and your software is indeed compatible -- OR that the advice that I can give you is reasonable.
    If you end up needing a copy of your Validity Sensor Driver, the following appears to be the correct Driver for your System.
    sp55109 Validity Sensor Driver V4.3.205.0
    Commentary
    The message you are seeing is USUALLY an indication of an incompatibility between the Validity Sensor -- either the Driver / hardware and the version of the HP SimplePass program OR the Driver / hardware and some itch in the File system that impacts the way in which the HP SimplePass program is interpreting the Driver information.  This is speculation and based on experience -- I don't have access to the code, to the File System, and I do not work for HP.
    The version level of your Validity Sensor Driver, in and of itself, is adequate to allow you to upgrade to a later version of HP SimplePass than the version available at your computer's Support website.
    Because you did not indicate which version of HP SimplePass you are running, I assume you do not know, or that you are running an older SimplePass program.
    The following might work for you:
    Open the file > Click on Download > Click “Open in Adobe Reader”

    Well.. I've posted 2 different exceptions about this game today, but I managed to fix them all by myself, but now I'm facing another problem, which is NOT an error, but just a regular question.. HOW CAN I REPEAT A FOR LOOP ONCE IT HAS FULFILLED IT'S TERMS OF RUNNING?!

    OCI is available for all versions of Oracle including Oracle
    7/8/8i etc. However it is not installed by default with these
    versions. I am assuming that the default 9i installation
    includes OCI. You should be able to install OCI for other
    versions through one of the development platforms e.g. ProC/C++
    etc.

    I will try to answer based on my experience of working with iProcurement and AME. It depends on how you want to make a call to AME , directly from OAF Page or from Workflow and your requirement. You didn't specify what you want to show the users on OAF Page and your business requirement.
    Before calling AME Engine from the OAF page or workflow, I guess you did already setup AME Transaction Type and it's Approval Groups, Conditions, Action Types and Rules. Do some testing from AME Business Analyst Test Workbench. Please note that, AME provides lot of PL/SQL API's that you have to call from your programs (java or workflow pl/sql)
    Let's look at the workflow and putting an OAF Page as notification.
    As Sameer said, you have kick-off workflow process from PR of CO and with in the workflow function, you make a call to AME Engine API's with the AME Transaction ID. This transactionId belongs to the AME Transsaction Type that you setup. Based on the rules setup, AME Engine generates list of approvers/approver and stores them AME Tables for that transactionId. Then, it sends a notification to the approver.
    In the workflow, where that notification is defined, in the message body you have to put an attribute(&XX_WF_FWK_RN) of type document/send. And this attribute will have the constant JSP:/OA_HTML/OA.jsp?OAFunc=XX_FUNC&paramId=-&DOCUMENT_ID-. This function is SSWA Jsp function that makes a web html call to your OAF Region.
    If your requirement is to just show the list of approvers on the OAF Page, you may have to call AME API diectly passing your AME TrasnactionId with other parameters. Then AME generates list of approvers and stores them in AME tables with each approver status. You can pickup those approvers using VO and show them on OAF Page.
