How can I display not only one account's mail but all in the central inbox?
I am changing from OSX (machines with OSX 1.8.5 and Mavericks) mail to Thunderbird.
However, one feature of OSX Mail I can't find in Thunderbird or have overseen it:
I use several mail accounts, that OSX Mail is showing me on top level in one general inbox.
Below that level, I can of course jump into the different accounts if needed to read mails only related to that account.
Is there a similar view in Thunderbird?

How can I import not only apps from the old iphone to the new iphone, but also the content of the apps?
You can sync apps as you normally would, but I do not believe this copies over app specifc data (i.e. saved game status/scores).
You can always restore your new device with a backup from your old device. -
How can I transfer "notes" from one icloud account to another, and other account questions

I currently have 2 icloud accounts. (In total I have 4 seperate apple ids somehow, 1 @me.com, 1 @icloud.com, 1 @gmail.com, and 1 apple id. But that's a problem I'll talk about later).
Right now, all of my notes got deleted from my iphone, but they are on the icloud account A: (@me.com account's icloud.) When I reconnect this account to my iphone, the notes are there. However, when I turn off note syncing in my iphone's icloud settings, I'm not prompted to "keep data on iphone" (like I am prompted with contacts). Instead, they are just deleted from the iphone. So there's no way to connect the icloud account A, download the data, and reconnect icloud account B.
How can I get these notes from icloud account A to icloud account B (or just getting it from icloud account A to my iphone.)
And while I'm at it, how can I get the @icloud account that was linked with the @me.com account to get linked to the @gmail.com account.
Sorry if this is confusing.Let me rephrase my comment... I used Windows to sync my data without icloud, we decided to switch to mac and purchased a $2000 osx driven machine only to find out apple has "secretly" disabled mobile sync services and replaced it with icloud syncing. There was NO documentation stating this fact before my purchase, it was only realized when users started running into syncing issues that apple disclosed mavericks no longers uses mobile syncing services and "requires you to use icloud to sync device information" on this forum.
They removed a integral part of my privacy without telling me, or warning me, before i spent money on non-refundable merchandice.
These are not mindless, I was forced into mavericks when i purchased a new mac... All other versions of OSX provide modile syncing services.
And I was not threatening lawsuit, i was stating a thought that this leavs apple open to a lawsuit for people who want their data kept private, they are FORCING the use of icloud now. -
How can I link to only one track on an album in the iTunes store?
I'm trying to link to a song and keep it seperate from the rest of the content on the album. The link generator is giving me a link to the song but it still brings up the rest of the album too. Is there anyway to isolate and link to only one track? Thanks!

So, since my 160GB Classic can play one episode at time, your 120GB Classic should too. To achieve this, turn on *shuffle songs/albums.* No, I'm not joking!
With shuffle on the Podcasts will play one episode at time when you select an episode from the episode list. Be sure to turn on the shuffle from "within a song" or from the ettings menu. If you have shuffle displayed on the main menu and use that to start shuffling songs, it doesn't affect Podcasts. You will know it's set correctly because the display will show 1 of 1 instead of 1 of "X".

How can I copy notes from one iPad account to another.
I have a number of Notes on my iPad which I would like to transfer to my new Mac. However, when I turned on iCloud, it created an iCloud account in Notes with nothing in it. Is there a way I can get all 37 notes in the old account (All Notes) to the new account (iCloud), so they can be synced to the computer?
I know it's tedious, but I'd honestly just e-mail them to yourself, or cut and paste them into a document that you get onto your mac.
Sometimes iCloud has a bad habit of eating or losing data so I'd back it up somewhere or somehow before you try the sync. -
How can I listen to only one episode on a list of podcasts

I "upgraded" my old 160GB ipod classic to a new 120GB one (actually I dropped the old one down the stairs and had to replace it).
On my old ipod it used to be that if I wanted to listen to a single podcast (episoode) I just selected the episode from it's list. If I wanted to listen to the entire list of podcasts I would select the "group" from the Podcast menu.
Now when I listen to a podcast it then goes on to play the next one in the list. I like to listen to podcasts in bed - It used to play one and then stop. Now I find I wake up several hours later to find them still playing and my battery draining.
Is this a "feature" of the new classic? Can I turn it off? I don't want to have to pre-choose the podcasts and add to a playlist... each time I access firefox 2 tabs are created each with the same information. To retrieve the information I must manually close the second tab else the info will not display properly. I am wondering is there something I can do to stop this from happening? It happens with direct open or from a link and if allready on a web page and open another via link 2 more Tabs are created it can become very crowded and hard to know which was first tab created. I do hope you understand what is happening and hopefully there is a cure. Thanking you Graham Rice

Navigation bar icons are quadruplicated, how can i reset to only one.
To the right of the search bar, there are three sets of navigation bar icons. when I go to view and uncheck navigation bar, all 4 are removed. I uninstalled FF and reinstalled it and it remains the same.

Has anyone ever had this problem before? I would love some advice on how to restore my library with all my music. I have 841 songs on my iPod touch and yet my iTunes library on my account says I have none, ever since my sister made her account on my laptop and some of her songs have gotten on mine (the main) account. Not only that but my iTouch doesn't seem to want to accept any other songs outside of its list. Any advice?

My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc. -
I was trying to add an itunes library to my computer, and now my itunes library can not be found. An ipod can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time. How can I find my Itunes library, complete with playlists ?
I have the same problem too and tried alot of things like time zone , restarting or changing DNS of wifi connection to 8.8.8.8 still nothing happens .. !!

In iTunes 11.0.2.26, an Albums search by track names returns albums as if they only have one track on them, but I still want to access the entire album. How can I have the search results show the entire album (with just the searched for name highlighted)? For instance, I'm wanting to play an album with a particular track on it or I'm searching for albums that include that track. iTunes incorrectly assumes that all I'm after is that one track and then incorrectly displays the album as if there is only one ttrack on it. This is a bonkers default setting. Can I change this?Click the search magnifying glass and uncheck "Search entire library".
Type in the name of the track.
Click the album of interest to show tracks.
Select the track.
Press the X in the search box to clear the search.
Double click the track you want to start playing first.

can anyone tell me how to restore my itunes library and playlists? After I downloaded mountain lion my library is missing and my devices can be synced to only one library ...the missing one
That .itl file actually is the library -- at least the critical part of it although the library is actually many files and folders.
Try starting iTunes and immediately hold down the option key. When it asks, guide it to the .itl file.
It's really hard to say without being able to poke around your computer. Upgrading should not delete the old library, but still it happens to the very, very few which is why we make backups before updating. If the old library file is gone then so are your playlists. You can always see if the following is of any use:

Creating that blur using my brush. When I paint the area, which highlights in red, I bring the clarity down to create more of that blur but what ends up happening is that my entire image changes too and becomes blurry. Not only that but the area I painted also becomes over exposed. What can I do am I missing something here all I want is to blur a section and not change the rest of the area I am painted by automatically becoming over exposed. Does anyone else have this problem that can help me?

How can I synch my ipod & iphone music (purchased from itunes on my old laptop) to my new laptop? I keep getting the same message on my itunes on my new laptop: " The ipod/Iphone is synched with another itunes library. An ipod/iphone can be synched with only one itunes library at a time. What would you like to do - Erase and Synch or Transfer Purchases?" What do I do?
A couple of other items:
1) I am guessing Apple does not keep a history of all my music purchases? As I did not have my entire library backed-up anywhere, and relying on the music I have on my ipod and my iphone as my only source of itunes music....I have lost over 500 songs!!!
2) I used to have an Apple account under another account name, and since have switched to a new account name. Is there anyway to find the history of purchases from my old Apple account name and transfer these over to my new account name and onto my new laptop?

You can transfer itunes purchases from your iphone/ipod to your computer:
Authorize your computer for all accounts and then click File>Transfer Purchases
