How can I change the file location under "Information"?
Somehow my iPod or computer generated a 2nd file named "music" within the existing file "music" where all my songs are stored. I don´t know why this happened and when I just discovered it today.
Now more than half of the songs are located under "c:\music\music". When I change this back on my computer using Explorer, i.e. move all files up one level under "c:\music" then my iPod administration gives me a failure notice for all these songs after the next synchronisation. When I check under "Information" of a song I´m told that the storage location of this song is "c:\music\music". So when I want to play that song I´m offered to search for the original which I do and puff.... the 2nd file "music" is created again and now the song is again stored under "c:\music\music".
I can change almost every entry under "Information" but not the storage location.
How can I change this back? I don´t want this! Do I have to be a slave of stupid Apple programming and keep this 2nd folder although I don´t want to have or use it?!

File -> Export
Jpeg Quality refers to the amount of compression appied. Lower quality means smaller file size.
Size refers to the dimensions of the photo.

I was working from a template and I wanted to make a text box the same size as a column box that was put there in order to keep the text in the confines of the paper that is was being printed to.
I could actually put text in each column fine but I wanted it to be in a text box so that I could slightly tilt the test box to compensate for my printer feeding it in slightly wrong. I accomplished this on another template but I could not on this one. If I was working in InDesign or something I know I could just select that layer but I'm at a loss of what to do here. How do I select a column right under a text box? I just thought of something. Once I make the text boxes the same size as the columns I think I can just delete the columns from the inspector. But that would be kind of a work around. I know you can hold down command when nothing is selected from outside the document and then highlight but this is not working. Does anyone have some tips and tricks when it comes to having control over which objects you are selecting when it comes to objects that are overlapped as well as directly over each other.

TimI'm not sure it's documented any where, but it's not too difficult. First, ⌘-click outside of the layout area to enter object mode then drag the cursor towards the two objects until you see the handles. Now, again ⌘-click on the top object to deselect it. You can now move the underlying object to the front to edit, delete, etc.
After typing this, it dawned on me, why not just click the top object to select it & move it to the back? I've only done the other way a bazillion times & now I think of this. -
TS2128 How can I select multiple SEPARATE objects/words in Pages (Mavericks version)?
When I type a document and decide to italicise a couple of separate words throughout the document how can I select them at once? Pressing Shift selects all the words between the first and the second, that does not help me. In Pages 09 it worked with either cmd or ctrl or alt (I don't remember which, but one of them worked) but I tried all of them now and nothing happens.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you!You can't do it anymore. Pages 5 is a stripped application and has lost about 90 feature that Pages 09 has. Read more about it in other threads in this forum.

I am looking at month view in Calendar on my iPad. I touch a date. Intuitively, I expect that date to open up in Day or Week view, but it doesn't! On my iphone, it works just fine. Am I missing something?

In Lr import one photo into a different folder that you can see in the list.
Then in your OS (mac Finder / Win Explorer) move the photo to the folder that you cannot see.
In Lr the photo will now appear with a question mark on its frame. Click directly on the question mark and select <Locate photo>. Navigate to the folder, open it, and click on the photo.
Maybe this will help Lr to recognize the folder.
If this doesn't help try renaming the folder in your OS. -

Thanks a lot!!Positive feedback? Then please take this in a positive way: if you want to work on persisting Java objects into XML, then GUI programming is irrelevant to that goal. The 1,000 lines of code you posted there appeared to me to have a whole lot of GUI code in it. You should produce a smaller (much smaller) example of what you want to do. Calling the working code from your GUI program should come later.

Problem:
1. While executing the above code, error -305500 occurs after executing "worksheet := ole2.invoke_obj(worksheets','Select',args)". How can I select the sheet i wanted in the template ??
2. As I refer to the forms on-line document, it stated that the ole2 programmers documentation can provide all object types and methods that can be used with the OLE2. Does any link can provided to download the specified documentation ??The error is probably that your Worksheets variable is actually empty. Looking at your code I think the problem is that you try and get the value of the worksheets collection from the application then you should try and get it from the Workbooks object.

I had posted a similar query few days back to place excel file in text frame. And I found out that, it is not possible to specify formatting option for any of microsoft document when using Indesign SDK.
But we can do this by running script.
If you are able to specify the formatting option through script, write code to get script object & execute this script through Indesign SDK.
I was able to specify formatting option, sheet number, range etc through this.

When printing a list in Address Book, how can I select more than the default Attributes and keep them selected when I print again? I want to print ALL information for contacts so I have email address, notes, phone, company, title, etc all on one page. I don't want to have to check off an additional 5 or 6 attributes each time I print out contact information. Is there a way to change the default setting for printing lists, so it is not just "phone," "photo," and "job title?"
I have a user who wants to do this same thing. I did not find any way either to default the attributes to anything other than what you see the first time. Seems like such a trivial thing, hard to believe they do not allow it. I did find a program for this called iDress but I can't seem to download it from any links on the Internet. Not sure if it is free or not, but it was recommended by a link on the Mac support site.

How can I select more than one song from the search results?
I want to create playlists based on certain words in the song title. For example, I may want to create a playlist of all my songs with LOVE in the title.
Doing the search is easy, but I can't select more than one song at a time. Is there any way in iTunes 12 for Windows to do this? I found an answer in iTunes for Mac, and it basically says to "un-check "Search Entire Library." " but I don't see that option in iTunes for Windows.
