HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS PROBLEM - external HD randomly disconnects,,,,
This is a really tough problem I have been dealing with for weeks and I think I just figured out a big issue. I have a macbook pro the 2.16 model. about 2 months ago I started using my macbook pro with the top closed hooked up to an external monitor. I have 3 external hard drives. I noticed my time machine hard drive started to fail. It was not old so I called up maxtor and they tried to trouble shoot with me and realized that i need a replacement. I got it today.
The problem I was previously having is the drive would be connected working fine, then all of a sudden it would disconnect from the computer and I would get a pop up saying the drive was disconnected. It would then connect by itself over and over disconnect . connect. etc.
I got the new drive today and the same exact thing happened. I then tried to use the laptop with the lid open and guess what it stayed connected. FYI the other 2 drive I have which are a different brand do not have this issue.
Not sure what to do at this point and how to resolve my problem. Is it an apple issue or a maxtor issue? What should my next step be. Please help!

Given that the other two work fine, it appears to be a Maxtor issue. My next step would be to explain this to Maxtor and ask for a refund.

1. What version of the Mac OS are you running (Apple > About this Mac)?
2. What version of the iOS are you running (Settings > About)?
3. Do you use MobileMe/ iCloud or another server based sync solution like Google or Yahoo?
4. Do other changes to synced information like Address Book content sync successfully back and forth?
Based on your description it sounds like you have a 1 way sync issue. Events sync fine between the iOS devices and fine from the computer to the iOS devices but not from the iOS devices to the computer.
Try:
Backup your computer and iOS devices before doing anything else:

The problem is when we create and then publish to ibooks review it can not be shown completely. How can I solve this problem?
If you are saying, that you published the book to the iBooks review team and cannot be seem in the store.
Use your iTunes Connect account > Manage your Books to check on its status. It takes time so you need to allow a few days.
If its a problems viewing on your iPad Follow the above advice and another option is is export your book, open iBooks on your Mac and drag the book into iBooks.

I did as you recommended and installed HTTPWatch and below is the outcome of that program. It is the exact string with the only exception of obfuscated servernames and portnumbers. The last part that begins with "sap_ep_baseurl=" makes me suspicious, is that part really correct? It looks like it's lacking things.

You could use your original install disc and boot from the disc, run Disc Utility and do a repair disk. -

From looking at the specifications of your camera (SJCam 4000), we know already what video compression your camera is using. It is H.264.
A H.264.mov file should be supported by Premiere Elements 11. On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 11 running?

User Account with administrative privileges? Please go to Premiere Elements 11 Publish+Share/Computer/QuickTime to confirm that you find
presets there for the QuickTime choice there.
What are the properties of these H.264.mov files - is it 1080p30 (1920 x 1080p30) or something else? Do you know if this camera is recording with a variable or
a constant frame rate?

Are you sure you don't have to press ⌥-G (Option-G) to get @?
Anyway, sounds like a keyboard/keyboard layout mismatch.
Go to System Preferences > Language & Text > Input Sources. From "Select input methods to use" enable (check) the following

Also enable "Show Input menu in menu bar".
The Input menu should appear to the right of your menu bar, with the icon of a national flag. From this menu, choose "Show Keyboard Viewer". Then compare the layout displayed by Keyboard Viewer with the label on your MBP's keyboard. If it doesn't match, choose a different layout from the Input menu.
My suspicion is that you're using a US keyboard with a Spanish keyboard layout, hence the difference you noted. -

Following through with what JB suggested. The steps involved in replacing the inner for loop with a while loop are outlined below.
You can replace the inner for loop with a while by doing the following.
1) Right-click of the for loop and select "Repalce" then navigate to the "while loop".
2) Make sure the tunnels you where indexing on with the for loop are still indexing.
3) Drop an "array size" node on your diagram. Wire the array that determines the number of iterations your for loop executes into this "array size".
4) Wire the output of the array size into the new while loop.
5) Set the condition terminal to "stop if true".
6)Drop an "OR" gate inside the while loop and wire its output to the while loops condition terminal.
7) C
reate a local of the boolean "stop" button, and wire it into one of the inputs of your OR gate. This will allow you to stop the inner loop.
8) Drop a "less than" node inside the inner while loop.
9) Wire your iteration count into the bottom input of the "less than".
10) Wire the count (see step 4 above) into the top input of the less than. This will stop the inner loop when ever the inner loop has processed the last element of your array.
Provided I have not mixed up my tops and bottoms this should accomplish the replacement.
I will let others explain how to takle this task using the "case solution".
