How can I to restrict the amount of messages in XI 3.0 ?

Hi @all,
in our company we use sap xi 3.0. Actually, we research a method to restrict huge amount of messages that we process in the integration server (IS). Is there any possibility to restrict the amount of messages int the IS? (e.g.  a parameter (sxmb_adm) which define the maximum messages to process per hour or day..if the maximum is reached than the IS blocked ensuring message requests for a while..)
Best regards
Alex

Hi @all,
thanks for your replies.
@Rajesh
to use message packaging for improve system performance is an interest possibility. I've just read an implement guide from Daniel Horacio.
http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/10b54994-f569-2a10-ad8f-cf5c68a9447c?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true
But it seems there is no option for  early version sap xi 3.0. Is it possible to use package messaging on xi 3.0 ?
Best regards
Alex

• How can I sum all the amount per line?

HI,
How can I sum all the amount per line?
EXAMPLE:
TOTAL:
1,000         2,000     5,200            $8,200
      400         1,200     6,000             7,600
THANKS!!

If you are sure of the number of columns that you are gonna get then you can add them to a variable and display.
total = itab-col1 + itab-col2 + itab-col3.
If you dunno how many columns will come , you have to use field symbols.
Say the datatabse table has 16 columns which will contain your price and you have to calculate the sum of all those , then assign them to field symbols and calculate.
Have a look at the following code.
FORM GET_VALUES_FROM_COSS .
      FIELD-SYMBOLS: <FS1> TYPE ANY.
      DATA: V_COMPONENT1 TYPE I.
      V_COMPONENT1=31.  " your field of table from which amount field starts
Cumulate the posting values of all the 16 period buckets as to get
total production order cost. This is to handle the partial posting of
production order values in different periods.
      DO 16 TIMES.
        ADD 1 TO: V_COMPONENT1.
        ASSIGN COMPONENT V_COMPONENT1 OF STRUCTURE COSS TO <FS1>.
        IF COSS-WRTTP EQ '05' AND COSS-KSTAR EQ C_KSTAR1.

Every time I print whether a new cartridge has been installed or not, I get three pop up windows telling me the black, then the tri-color and the black again have been installed successfully. i have to click thru each one to be able to print.  How can I turn this off.

What printer are you using?
What OS do you have?
Does it give a program name when it pops up, or does it just give you that message and a couple of options to choose from?

• How can a parent restrict a child's access to a PARENT'S PRE-EXSISTING iTunes account via iCloud's Family Sharing Program?

How can a parent restrict a child's access to a PARENT'S PRE-EXSISTING iTunes account via iCloud's Family Sharing Program?  To explain further... I have a young son who is on my iCloud family sharing program... I am excited to be able to share SOME of my music in my iTunes library, but there are some songs and music videos that are not age appropriate for him and currently there is no way to restrict him from viewing and downloading anything off of my iTunes library.  Yes, I suppose I can delete the songs he shouldn't have access to, but I don't think I should have to do that... I paid for them and still like them and listen to them while I work out or am without my kids.  Is there a way for me to personally select which songs/videos I would like to "hide" from my children in an effort to shield them from inappropriate content?

Hello ggg39,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you have some content in your iTunes library that you would like to restrict access for the child set up on Family Sharing with you. To do this, you can set restrictions on the child’s device as described in the attached article.
Family Sharing - Apple Support
Now kids under 13 can have their own Apple IDs. As a parent or legal guardian, the family organizer can create an Apple ID for a child and add the child to the family group automatically. Ask to Buy is turned on by default, and the organizer can also limit the content kids have access to on their devices through Restrictions on an iOS device or parental controls in OS X and iTunes.
For more information on restrictions and how to set them up, please reference the next attached article.
About Restrictions (parental controls) on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
Have a great day,

• How can I speed up the extract() function queries on XML

Hi,
Please I need some light on xml and indexes.
This is my case:
I use Oracle 9i R2.
I have a table with some rows containing some few xml documents (each row contains a big xml document).
Given a value for an attribute of a tag, I want to extract the entire section within the tags.
Example:
<MYTAG number="1">
.....big stuff here
</MYTAG>
<MYTAG number="2">
.....big stuff here
</MYTAG>
<MYTAG number="x">
.....big stuff here
</MYTAG>
So for number=2 I would like to extract from the document the xmltype
<MYTAG number="2">
.....big stuff here
</MYTAG>
I created an index and have followed all the steps from the XML Database Developers Kit manual. Then I would use extrac() as the document says.
Now some doubts arised:
Are these text/xml indexes only useful for getting the rowid of my document?
I mean, if I select 'x' from the table looking for some value, then the index is used. But when I use extract in the select to get the section I look for, the query gets really low, specially when xml documents are big. I think when I have only row with one document, getting the rowid is not the problem, but the extraction from the document is.
Is the extraction process faster because of the index?
For what I see, the index only helps me to find the rowid, but then Oracle has to deal with the very big document inside the row. At that point Its oracle against a big text processing and index has nothing to do.
How can I speed up the extraction of the section?
If there any other index or tool for help extraction to be faster?
I would appreciate to know what can I do. I need help on this.
Thanks in advance!

Well,
- What indexes, if any, already exist?
- What do the functions rl and nice do?
- What are the current query plans?
- How restrictive are the various predicates?
- What version of Oracle?

• How can i exchange for the new design

Last year my sister purchased a ipod shuffle 3rd gen, for my 10 yr old daughter. She bought it from Target and spent $145.00 at that time. Shortly there after i became aware apple had replace this 3rd gen shuffle with a new design. One that is more user friendly, especially for my 10 yr old. I have to say we have been very disappoint with her ipod for several reasons.
1. there is no face so you cant see what your doing
2. you must memorize the amount of clicks in order to operate it.
3. we have only been able to upload new music to her ipod once since she got it a year ago. Even with online tech support,reading online forums,owner manuals, help from family and friends. To no avail.
She has it still in the box neatly packed away. Its used as a show piece on her dresser to show that she has an (ipod). Neadless to say she does not use it,does not  like it mainly because there is no display panel which make it very difficult for her to function.
So how can i exchange/replace the old design ipod shuffle generation 3  for the new design.

Try disabling your firewall and try again.

• HT5527 I did not move my Mobileme account to iCloud. How can I get off the iCloud mailing list?

I did not move my Mobileme account to iCloud. How can I get off the iCloud mailing list?

If you migrated your MobileMe account before 1 August you should have signed into System Preferences>iCloud with it, and you would be able to see your calendars, bookmarks and emails on the iCloud website. Is this the case? Did you sign into iCloud with your @me.com address?
If you did not migrate your MobileMe account you can no longer do so.
If you did migrate, did you do so from a full MobileMe account or from a Family Pack sub-account? the latter did not get the complimentary storage (because their iDisks were only 5GB anyway).
If you had a full MobileMe account, check on your Mac - System Preferences>iCloud - and see whether that shows the upgrade. If it doesn't, you probably need to contact Support: if you currently happen to have AppleCare, either because you recently bought Apple hardware or have paid to extend the inititial period, you can contact them here:
http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/
You will need the serial number of the covered hardware.
If you are not covered by AppleCare, then - in common with other free email services - there is no free support (MobileMe Support is no longer available) and you may be asked to pay a fee: in this case you should ask them to deal with it without cost (and hope they agree).
Note that you haven't paid anything for your MobileMe storage since your first renewal date after 6 June 2011, and iCloud costs nothing unless you specifically choose to upgrade the storage. Note also the iCloud storage is not general file storage in the manner of the iDisk but is restricted to iOS device Backup, Mail, Photo Journal and Documents.

• How can I list all the domains configured for Weblogic Servers?

How can I list all the domains configured for Weblogic Servers?
I saw a note, which says the following:
"WebLogic Server does not support multi-domain interaction using either the Administration Console, the weblogic.Admin utility, or WebLogic Ant tasks. This restriction does not, however, explicitly preclude a user written Java application from accessing multiple domains simultaneously."
In my case, I just want to list all the domains, is that possible by using any scripts?
Thanks
AJ

If you use WLS Node Manager and the Config Wizard was used to create the domains, then the list of domains should be in a location like this:
<MIDDLEWARE_HOME>\wlserver_10.3\common\nodemanager\nodemanager.domains
Enterprise Manager Grid Control also has support for multi-domain management of WLS in a console.

I have a user account with a huge amount of mail (around 50K messages) that Apple Mail can't deal with... it constantly hangs and/or crashes whether I use POP or IMAP to try and delete all the mail from the client.

Thanks!

• How can you take off the volume limit?, How can you take off the volume limit?

How can you take off the volume  limit on iPod touch ?

Which "volume limit" do you mean?
All iPods have a volume limit feature that you can set yourself and on your iPod, go into Settings/Music/Volume Limit. There, you can set the volume limit to maximum, which is the same as turning it off.
However, if you mean the EU (European Union) volume restriction, on all iPods sold inside the EU, you cannot turn that off.

• How can we find out the info object in a query ....?

How can we find out the info object in a query is belongs to that particular info cube? If the query is built on a Multiprovider having 4 different info cubes.

Hi,
If you have restrictions at the infoprovider level in the RKF then it is coming from that particular infocube.
Or go to the selection option in the multiprovider...her you can get the mappings of which key figure is populted from which infocube.
For characteristics you will have to look for identification tab in the characteristics option.
Thanks

• How can I get my redeemed amount back onto my acct. It is not in there anymore

I purchsed the itunes cards at my local store and redeemed the codes, all was well and the amount showed up in my acct.  I started to purchase some songs on itunes and i did not use the entire amount.  Weeks later I get on to purchase some more songs and it shows I have nothing in my acct.  How can I bring up that amount again and where did it go?  It keeps asking me for a credit card but I do not want to use one hence the reason I buy itunes cards in advance.  Can anyone help...

Thanks for your reply!
No, I have tried that. There are only two other windows to be restored. My desired window isn't there.
I searched my question just now. Only because the value of my: "about:config": "browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo" is 2? Does this mean I only have 2 windows that can be restored?
So when I open the 4th window, I can never restore my important 1st window?
