How can i transfer the one that i check in a alv in the table
hi i just want to ask how can i transfer the one that i check in a alv in the table.
here is the scenario.
ive created a alv with a checkbox, and if i click on some of the checkbox in the alv.
then i need it to display in a table as x.sel TYPE char1.
wa_fieldcat-checkbox = 'X'.
wa_layout-box_fieldname = 'SEL'.
CALL FUNCTION 'GET_GLOBALS_FROM_SLVC_FULLSCR'
IMPORTING
e_grid = ref_grid.
IF NOT ref_grid IS INITIAL.
CALL METHOD ref_grid->check_changed_data.
ENDIF.
Here u get data changed into an internal table u created with SEL as a field and SEL filled with X if line selected.
U can modify the table u want from this internal table.

How can I transfer the meta data to the Oracle OLAP Object?
When I finished in building a simple DataWare house demo in the warehouse Builder, I got meta data. But it seems that those doesn't present in the "<Database>" - "OLAP" - "Dimension" where the Sample "SH" resides.I just want to export those metadata to the SQL script, but failing to import the script to the Database. How can I transfer my demo's meta data to the OLAP Object? It is the last step to finish the whole process and I can't solve the problem.
I'll appreciate any one who can help me.Hello,
To enter/move the metadata for dimensions and facts to the OLAP catalog, you need to perform the following actions:
1) Create a business area in the OWB business tree holding the dimensions and facts you want in OLAP
2) Perform a metadata export, using the bridge (not to file!)
3) This will launch a wizard that will guide you through this process, follow the instructions carefully
4) Upon completion you will see metadata added into the OLAP catalog
We will be releasing a new version for this, which will be running on 9.2.0.2 database that allows you to use all the new 9i Release 2 OLAP features. This will create Analytic Workspaces from Warehouse Builder and should be released late this year (around end of November).
Hope this helps,

How can I transfer a variable to regexp_replace function
Hi,
In addition to my question from yesterday, I went up one (little) level for the next question.
How can I transfer a variable to regexp_replace function?
I am getting the value of the variables from from APEX Items.
The value of item :P105_OLD_NAME should be replaced with the value from :P105_NAME APEX item.
The projects in PROJECT_NAME field are separated by “:”
select * from infoux_proj;
HOSTNAME PROJECT_NAME
host1 proj2:proj1
host3 proj1
host4 proj12:proj1
host5 proj3
host2 proj1:proj3:sunproj1
this is my code:
declare
v_old_proj_list varchar(100);
v_new_proj_list varchar(100);
begin
for host in (select a.hostname, project_name
from infoux_proj a,
(select hostname
from PROJECT_NAMES_WITH_HOSTNAMES
where name = :P105_OLD_NAME ) b
where a.HOSTNAME=b.hostname)
loop
select project_name ,
regexp_replace(project_name,'(^|:)(:P105_OLD_NAME)(:|$)','\1:P105_NAME \3') new_project
into v_old_proj_list, v_new_proj_list
from infoux_proj
where hostname=host.hostname;
update infoux_proj
set project_name=v_new_proj_list
where hostname=host.hostname;
end loop;
end;
Thanks,
SheliHi, Sheli
Inside quotes, :p105_old_name will not be taken as a variable name. If you want to use the value of :p105_old_name in a string which its otherwise a literal, then you can concatenate the variable to the literal parts, using the || operator.
You can do soemthing like this:
REGEXP_REPLACE ( project_name
, '(^|:)(' || :P105_OLD_NAME
|| ')(:|$)'
, '\1' || :P105_NAME
|| ' \3'
) AS new_projectI'll bet there's a much simpler way to do what you want. Instead of having two SELECTs, a cursor FOR loop and an UPDATE, you can probably do what you need to with just a single UPDATE or MERGE. It would be more efficient, too. If you'd like help, post CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements for all relevant tables and columns azs the exist before this code is run, a couple of sets of values for the bind variables, and the results you'd like to see (that is, the contents of the changed table) for each set, given the same sample data.
Always say which version of Oracle you're using. -
How can i transfer the 'Authorization Group'(SE54) to another client?

But there is no message to me to entry the Request NO.?
How can i transfer the 'Authorization Group' ?
I konw the date can be show from view 'V_BRG_54' ,but how to transport the data of the view?
TKS a millon~~Hi,
If your client is set for automatic recording of changes it should prompt for a transport, check there is not another client where you should make config changes. If not, the menu option Table View -> Transport will let you assign the Auth group to a transport.

How to display a oracle table from a java program?
How to display a oracle table from a java program.
Hello friends, I have written a Java program, using oracle 10g as backend.
I want to display a oracle table as output. Im not getting how to display oracle table as a output table.. Pls help me
Thank youjayanthds, you're not going to get a satisfactory
answer to this here. it's too big a task to justbe
quickly outlined in a forum - the reply "all youneed
to do is to query you table and return it asJTable"
is worthless, for example, since the solution to
any problem can be distilled to such a
soundbite, if need be. doesn't make the solutionany
simpler
essentially you're asking "how do I write adatabase
application?". all you'll get is snippets of code
that, when fitted together, will eventually helpyou
do this, but you'll spend days and days comingback
saying "right, I've done that, now what?" until
either you or the forum gets frustrated with the
whole affair and the process stops
there are entire books written about this subject,
and countless tutorials and guides on theinternet.
you're better off going down that routehehehe.well, it's true! I used to have a manager that would outline the solution to a problem in a few lines of pseudocode, and then firmly believe that the actual solution would be just as brief and simple. shame his pseudocode included such lofty abstractions as "reformat all data" -
How can I tell what table(s) have the most transactions against them
Hello, in Oracle 11.2.0.3, RHEL 6 x86-64, how can I tell what tables have the highest transaction activity?
Picked "Objects" because I could not find a space related to performance tuning
Humbly,What version of Oracle are you running (standard or enterprise)?
Easist system is to run an AWR or statspack report. If you run either of these you will see sections on segments (so segments by logical reads, physical reads) which is easily digestible.
v$segment_statistics will also give you a breakdown on segment access. -

How can i transfer IDOC to XML format?
Hi,
How can i transfer IDOC to XML format?
Is there some some mechanism to transfer IDOC to XML format to be used by XI system?
Pls help.
Regards,
KanwarRavi,
If you want to pick the IDOC in an XML format, you can do that from WE60 transaction. Here a XML of the IDOC MATMAS05 that I could generate out WE60 transaction. If the XML format is required at design time to pass on the middleware consultant, how can I use the function module.
You can get the XML schema by going to the Menu
Documentation --> XML Schema.

We are upgrading from 8.3 to 9.2. How can i get the table(record) structure changes between these 2 versions. I am not able to find it in Oracle support.
My guess is you want to upgrade HR8.3 to 9.2 - and that is not one jump upgrade. You will need to go HRMS 83 to 90
(PeopleSoft Enterprise HRMS 8.3x to 9.0 Upgrade (Doc ID 747333.1) and then 90 to 92 (PeopleSoft Human Capital Management 9.0 to 9.2 Upgrade Home Page (Doc ID 1536087.1)
Each these MOS pages contains the Demo to Demo Compare Reports that show the data structures changes between the releases.
Hope it helps. -
How can we transfer error report
Hi!
experts,
how can we transfer error report from a BAPI to the application server? as i am collecting the error report from the BAPI ?You can use the following code in your program for your ref:
REPORT ZEX_DATATOFILE .
*& ABAPLOVERS: Data Transfer
Parameters to enter the path
PARAMETERS FILENAME(128) DEFAULT '/usr/tmp/testfile.dat'
LOWER CASE.
Table Declaration
DATA: it_return type table of BAPIRET2.
Data Declaration
DATA D_MSG_TEXT(50).
populate DOCUMENTHEADER and pass to BAPI
*You can call your Bapi here *
CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_ACC_GL_POSTING_POST'
EXPORTING
documentheader = <header>
IMPORTING
OBJ_TYPE =
OBJ_KEY =
OBJ_SYS =
tables
accountgl =
currencyamount =
return = it_return
EXTENSION1 =
collect all the logs in one internal table
ENDLOOP.
Opening the File
OPEN DATASET FILENAME FOR OUTPUT IN TEXT MODE
MESSAGE D_MSG_TEXT.
IF SY-SUBRC NE 0.
WRITE: 'File cannot be opened. Reason:', D_MSG_TEXT.
EXIT.
ENDIF.
Transferring Data
LOOP AT it_return to wa_return .
TRANSFER wa_return TO FILENAME.
ENDLOOP.
Closing the File
CLOSE DATASET FILENAME.

How can we transfer huge amount of data from database server to xml format
hi guru
how can we transfer huge amount of data from database server to xml format.

subhasis.Create ABAP coding
At first we create the internal table TYPES and DATA definition, we want to fill with the XML data. I have declared the table "it_airplus" like the structure from XML file definition for a better overview, because it is a long XML Definition (see the XSD file in the sample ZIP container by airplus.com)
*the declaration

a_rate(5),
net_value(15),
vat_value(15),

a_currency(3),
net_total(15),

CALL TRANSFORMATION ZFI_AIRPLUS
SOURCE xml l_xml_x1

.see the complete report: Read data from XML file via XSLT program
Create XSLT program
There are two options to create a XSLT program:
Tcode: SE80 -> create/choose packet -> right click on it | Create -> Others -> XSL Transformation
Tcode: XSLT_TOOL
For a quick overview you can watch at the SXSLTDEMO* programs.
In this example we already use the three XSLT options explained later.
As you can see we define a XSL and ASX (ABAP) tags to handle the ABAP and XML variables/tags. After "
