How can i 'translate' the formules in Rep S_ALR_87013532 to code (tables) ?

Hi
I'm creating a report wich shows the Commit, Paid, Budget, etc. in PS module. I will take these column values from severel PS reports generated with the 'Report Printer' tool, wich allow to calculate the values vía a 'semantic formules' using key figures, Characteristic values, etc. (For example report S_ALR_87013532).
I need to know how to translate these formules to code (tables); but i really don't know anything about Report Printer, Key Figures, etc.
Any idea ? Does somebody knows how to translate the Report Printer formules to code reading tables ?

Please go thru the documantation this will provide you step by step approach on Report painter.

A similar kinda of question was posted previuosly where the requirement was the label text was needed and following below code was given as solution :

My specific requirement is i have an input field on the screen and i want reflect that value as the column label for one of the column in the alv table. I have used he above code with slight modification in the MODIFYVIEW method of the view since it is a process after input. The component gets activated without any errors but while run time i get an error stating
"The following error text was processed in the system CDV : Access via 'NULL' object reference not possible."
i have checked in debugging and the error occured at the statement :
lr_column = lr_column_settings->get_column( 'CURRENT_YEAR' ).Please can you provide me an alternative for my requirement or correct me if i have done it wrong.

I found it myself how to do it. The error says that it is not able to find the reference object i.e it is asking us to refer to the table. The following piece of code will solve this problem. Have to implement this in WDDOMODIFYVIEW method of the view. This thing works comrades enjoy...

How can i export the data to excel which has 2 tables with same number of columns & column names?

Hi everyone, again landed up with a problem.
After trying a lot to do it myself, finally decided to post here..
I have created a form in form builder 6i, in which on clicking a button the data gets exported to excel sheet.
It is working fine with a single table. The problem now is that i am unable to do the same with 2 tables.
Because both the tables have same number of columns & column names.
Below are 2 tables with column names:
Table-1 (MONTHLY_PART_1)
Table-2 (MONTHLY_PART_2)

Since both the tables have same column names, I'm getting the following error :
Error 402 at line 103, column 4

So How can i export the data to excel which has 2 tables with same number of columns & column names?
Should i paste the code? Should i post this query in 'SQL and PL/SQL' Forum?

How can we do the validation for non visible records in table control.

Hi Experts,
I have a table control which displays list of material details. I have a button to upload the material details from excel file to table control directly. I have to validate all the customers which are exist in the table. But my item (Material) table control displays only 5 rows i.e only 5 entries are visible in module pool screen. The validation is done for 5 records only in PAI event, but i need to do validation for rest of the records too (Which are not visible on items table), if validation fails then needs to display error message.
How can we do the validation for non visible records in table control.

A little search on the forum :
In the instanceconfig.xml add a <PivotView> element under <ServerInstance> if one does
not exist already.
Within the <PivotView> element add an entry that looks like:

We are working with Captivate 6.0.1.240.
Our project has a series of quiz questions.
The quiz questions are page-numbered (e.g. "question 3 of 8") by our Captivate default language German.
How can I change the language of this numbering, e.g. into French? Can I edit the default text or change the
layout to "3/8"?
After importing the translation document all texts were changed to French, but not these quiz numbers.
What can we do?

A bug that has finally disappeared in 7, now you can localise the language, it has been added to the Quiz labels. But that doesn't help you of course. For 6 and earlier versions I once wrote this blog post:

I am a beginner of Web Dynpro. I want to develop my simple project like these:
1. Create my own database table via Dictionary Project such as TAB_USER and have 3 fields: USER_ID, USER_NAME, USER_POSITION and I have already deployed & archived it.
2. Create my own Web Dynpro Project, and create the input fields as User ID, User name, User position and icon 'Save' on the selection screen and I have deployed it already.
For the process, I want to input data at the screen and save the data in the table, please give me the guide line like these:
1. How can I set the data binding between Web Dynpro and Database table ?
2. Are there any nescessary steps that I will concern for this case?

You can write your own connection class for establishing the connection with DB.
Ex:

You can place the above class file in src folder and you can use this class in webdynpro.
You can have another UserInfo class for reading and writing the data into the DB .

Hi I am new to Apple products etc & I have imported an Excel doc to Numbers & I dont seem to be able to view the formula in a cell.
Can anyone help?

View (menu) > Show Formulas List
OR
Press option-command-F
will show a list of all formulas and their locations.
Clicking any item in the list will select that cell, bring it into view, and show the formula in the entry bar above the working area of the window.

I can't find where to darken GRID lines on a table in the new Pages. I can make the outline more bold, but not the grid lines within the table. Is there a way to do this? The default grid lines are far too faint.

If you select the block of cells that you want to change, then in the Format inspector:
Select the Cell tab
Expand the Border section
Set a line type
Set a line width
Choose a line color
