How can I set up 2 mice on my Mac - so kids can play a 2 player computer game together?

Time Star is PC based software and is designed to run in MS Windows. You can run MS Windows on your MBP however you will at a minimum need a license of MS Windows check with the Time Star manufacturer to see what version of WIndows you will need. Assuming it can run on Windows 7 you have many choices including:
Run Boot Camp, this is the least expensive way however it means  you cannot simultaneously run OS X. Boot Camp is free and is pre-installed on you MBP.
The next option is to run emulation software such as Parallels or Fusion. For this type of app this is the strategy I'd recommend if you must run Time Star because it allows one to simultaneously operate Windows and OS X.
However when you run MS Windows on a Mac in either emulation or Boot Camp that portion of the Mac is susceptible to all the issues PC's have such as viruses and other malware so you need to take  proper precautions.
My recommendation would be to search to see if there is either a OS X version of Time Star (contact the manufacturer) or start looking for a replacement app that is designed to run in OS X.

    I can't say if Apple will cooperate with the MIAA or not, they do sell movie content thus the MIAA does have some leverage,  Apple could ask the MIAA not to disclose their involvement in locating you, the MIAA could lie and say they saw you P2P-ing the content.
    If your scared, that's good, it's a heck of a lot less expensive than a lawsuit over some stupid free movies.

    In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
    If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

In Summary under games it will not let me choose selected games only 'all games' and when I press sync warns that the existing games will be replaced.     Clearly it ISN'T silly as it avoid issues like you are having right now. If you need more space, get an external hard drive. To me it is much sillier to only have your stuff on the iPod and no where else as the iPod, as a small portable player, is much more likely to be dropped, lost, damaged, stolen, forgotten somewhere, etc.
    While I am not familiar with the use of games on the iPod (I have never bought any) you can switch the iPod to manually manage and then you can add content to your iPod without losing what is already there. Perhaps it works for games as well.
    But long term, I strongly suggest you keep all your stuff in your library so if you need to (you have to perform a restore on the iPod, you lose it and buy a new one, etc.) you can very easily sync it all back to the iPod when needed.

    As eww said, that computer isn't specifically made for gaming. To get advanced graphics in a game, your computer needs what is called a "discrete" graphics processor, or GPU. This means a seperate chip that processes graphics. In Apple laptops, these are only found in the 15" and 17" MacBook Pro. It is not common to find these in laptops in general that are not expensive and high-end. What you have in yours is an "on-board" or "integrated" GPU. This means that graphics processing is done by a small portion of your main processor (the Intel i5 board). This takes away a portion of primary prossessing and dedicates it to graphics. This works perfectly find in most scenarios, but video rendering, gaming, and 3-D graphics tend to suffer. Most high-end, modern games require discrete GPUs to run at full quality these days.
    As far as running Windows 7 and Mac OS both, yes you absolutely can. If you install Windows 7 via Bootcamp (this would require you to have a Windows 7 CD), when you turn on your computer it will default to opening up in Mac OS. But if you hold down the Option key (bottom of the keyboard next to the Command button) while the computer is booting up, it will ask you if you want to open Windows or Mac OS.
