How can I use a POP up dialogue box on my mobile phone. gives me an error to allow the pop up box. I turned the pop up blocker off.

I am trying to open up a pop up box that allows me to enter times and mileage for a work application. I am on my android phone. I have a friend at work that is able to do it on his phone but mine will not let me give me an error. his does not. I turned off the pop up blocked and nothing changes.

I forgot to mention that she has a PC at her house that she also syncs to. Would this cause a problem. I am already getting that pop up saying that the iPod is synced to another library (even though she is signed in with her Apple ID to iTunes) and gives the pop up to Cancel, Erase & Sync, or Transfer Purchases. My question arose because she clicked on "Erase & Sync" by mistake when she plugged the iPod to her PC the first time. When the iPod was purchased and setup, it was synced to my PC first. When she went home, she hooked it up to her PC and then she erased it by accident. I was able to restore all the missing stuff yesterday using my PC. However, even after doing that it still told me the next time I hooked it up last night that the iPod was currently synced with a different library. Hopefully, you can help me understand all this. She wants to sync her iPod and also backup her iPod at both places. Both PCs have been authorised. Thanks

Same custom messagebox code working in Phone_BackKeyPress event i am writing the code in Right Button that e.OriginalSource.ToString(); then it is working fine.
But It is not working in Selection Changed Event in LongListSelector control in Windows Phone 8.

What happens if you leave the implementation for LeftButton empty as well , does the page gets stuck in that case also, if you press left button?

How can I use my computer as a Headset device for my phone with Bluetooth?

Hello, Both my laptop and my phone support A2DP but for some reason the service (from the phone) does not show up while I add a new connection and the phone does not let me initiate a connection with any other profile except FTP, even though it detects other services in the service list like A2DP and works perfectly fine with other profiles like DUN, HID, OPP, SSP if the connection is started through the computer. I am currently using the latest version of the Toshiba stack [v8.00.12(T)], I have tried using WIDCOMM but it refuses to install drivers for both the internal Bluetooth and the USB Bluetooth that I use on my desktop. The standard Microsoft stack (generic driver) does install but it does not seem to communicate with my internal and external (USB) Bluetooth. With BlueSoleil (the default stack that came with the USB Bluetooth) I could set my device as "headset" instead of only "laptop/desktop", and this allowed both my phones to detect my laptop as a device they can use as a headset, but the problem with this stack was that only the older phone could actually connect to my laptop and that the internal Bluetooth could not be used. Basically, I want to set the device type as a "headset" for my phone using the Toshiba stack like I did with BlueSoleil. Is there any way this could be done? Thanks. Attached: Device type selection

It's not possible. You can use the iMac as a display for the MBP, but the reverse is not possible. The MBP does not have Target Display Mode as a feature and no third-party app nor hack can enable something that doesn't exist. The only way to accomplish this will be one of the network solutions.

SMS API(WMA) is an optional package. It is not a MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0 api's.
There are phones which has WMA api with MIDP1.0 support .... Nokia 3650
Seimens has some phone with their own api's to send sms.Check out seimens site for more info

If you want to send message to server you can do it with Http.

What is this hidden "feature" in mobile Safari for and how can I use it?

OK, one day, like any geek would, I was in the car messing with my iPod touch. I was playing in Safari, typing in email addresses and such to get the exciting "WARNING - PHISHING SITE" screen. So I then tried typing "/" into the address bar, and when I hit "go", something interesting happened. The "/" changed to "file:///", and it tried to load it, but then popped up with an error message that said "This page could not be opened because it is a local file". Now I'm not new to the "file:///" thing, and I've used it to access folders using Chrome that Explorer wasn't showing for some reason. So, what if that tag used for? Obviously Apple has a use for it somehow since they included a little shortcut to get to it. I'll post some screenshots below so you can see what everything looks like:

That is a shortcut for opening a file locally stored on the iPod. This is not really useful since iOS does not permit such access to its file sustem.

It's good to read Antoniad's post. It reassures me that I can use my new iPad as an international communication device which is the reason I purchased the thing. However, I called Verizon today (my provider of cellular data) who told me that I can't just pop in a SIM card as you suggested. He also said that he was from the "Pre-Pay" division of Verizon and he was certain that I couldn't do what I planned to do. I was extremely disappointed as I had called Apple prior to buying the iPad and I read the algorhythm on the website for choosing an iPad before purchasing. Those sources were quite specific and the information seemed clear. I would be able to use my iPad to communicate through cellular connections while traveling on the road, literally, abroad. I was told that I could pop in a data card wherever I was, just as you indicated in your message above, and voila I was good to go. The Verizon rep definitively rained on that parade, but said that I might be able to do this if I have a "Post-Pay" account, a different area of Verizon. I haven't had the chance to talk to this division yet, so I looked to Apple's Support for answers. Maybe I will find out that I can use my iPad as an international communication device while traveling on the road afterall, however, it appears I may need a different type of account (Post-Pay), something I was never warned about. Can I switch to this kind of account? I don't know. I have to find out. If you have any information about this issue, it would be good to share since I strongly suspect there are others who bought the iPad for the same purpose that I have.

Well..that was quite helpful..but now I'm encountering certain problems. I've attached the VI I've made.
I don't need sound at the moment so I dropped it. (Although I tried to play it..but all I could hear was a very annoying sound.) Secondly I don't want to display any date or time..so i dropped that property too.
Now when I run this Vi...the webcam turns on, the screen of videocapx pops up..then the webcam light goes off..and another pop up appears saying..labview is not responding..and i have to close it reluctantly.
I haven't placed the stop capture property in this vi. i checked it by placing it too..but that doesn't work.
I would like to notify that my actual task is to acquire image and then compare it with another one already present on my pc. I want you to please help me out..solve my first query then I'll proceed with the latter part.
