How can I use JNI in JDeveloper???

I have a native mathod,it can work very well use JCreator or JDK's Java command.
But it can't work in Jdeveloper with the errors :

2 options, that I know of (windoze, right?):
1. Add "-Djava.library.path=c:\<blah>\" (the location of your native DLL) to the "Java Options:" field in the "Project Settings/Configurations/Development/Runner" window. OR
2. Put your DLL in a folder that is on your PATH (e.g., c:\winnt\system32).
If you deploy it to a jar, and put the DLL in there, I'd think it would see it - but I haven't gotten THERE, yet! :-P

I have two tables. One is room (primary key is room(type is char)), another table is responsibility (foreign ker is room(type is char)). Both tables have same length for room column.
There is a problem:
If I use (in the "DataEditComponent.jsp" file)

to get the room input for responsibility from combobox(Datasource roomData is from room table). In the form the room field cannot bind the data in combobox, alway select the first item. And if I select one item and click the update button.There is an error message:
Error Message: JBO-27010: Attribute set with value H409 for Room in Responsibility has invalid precision/scale
I found If I changed the field type from char to varchar2 in database also change the entity objects, it works well. I wonder if there are any diffrence using <jbo:InputSelect tag in char and varchar2 type. How can I use <jbo:InputSelect for a char type filed as i don't want to change my datatype in database at this stage.
I try this in JDeveloper 9.03, 9.034, 9.04. The result is the same.

If you are using this as part of an edit page you may want to utilize the "selected" option of the <option> tag. In one instance I am doing this on an edit page because the use may open an existing record. If I don't account for it, then it will change the DB to contain the first value from the list! You can do a simple check like:

I am using JDeveloper 11g ADF BC.
My Requirement is that I hv a login screen which is taken from [http://blogs.oracle.com/shay/simpleJSFDBlogin.zip].
I hv attached BC in this application. I want to use the login usercode in the next pages after login screen. Next screen contains 3 list items which will be populating based on the user. So I created <af:selectOneChoice> using the BC( Just drag & dropped the column into the page from the data controls). But in the data control i want to use this usercode for passing the condition. Now Data is coming without any condition.
So How can I use the usercode in the Data controls query.
When I tried to display the usercode in the next page it is showing by binding the value. its code is follows

I didn't look at the example, but if you want to secure your application then you should use container managed security. Read this .
Anyway, you could add this before return "good"; in your login_action()
FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext().getSessionMap().put("username", user);Then, you can access this from anywhere in the application by using #{sessionScope.username}.

I am planning to use JNI for a project, but I only have several DLLs (no source code for them, but only have header file for these DLLs). Can I use JNI to invoke methods in these DLLs directly? Examples in internet are making me believe that I have to use javah to create a header first, and compile this header with C/C++ source code into new DLLs, and then my methods in Java can use methods in DLLs. Am I right?

O, getting understand that I have to write a C/C++ wrapper to make it work. Is there any one who has a small sample to show me how to write a C++ wrapper? Thanks a lot!

I wanted my teenager's AppleID to be different from mine so that she couldn't charge stuff to my AppleID, therefore I created me another one. Now when I go to Sync either device, it tells me that this IOS device can only be synced with one AppleID. Then I get a message to erase it, not going to do that, lol. If I logout as one ID and login as the other, will it still retain all synced information on the PC from the first IOS device? If I can just log in out of the AppleID, then I have no problem doing that as long as the synced apps, music, etc stays there for both. I am not trying to copy from one to the other, just want to make sure I have a backup for the UhOh times. I am already getting that pop up saying that the iPod is synced to another library (even though she is signed in with her Apple ID to iTunes) and gives the pop up to Cancel, Erase & Sync, or Transfer Purchases. My question arose because she clicked on "Erase & Sync" by mistake when she plugged the iPod to her PC the first time. When the iPod was purchased and setup, it was synced to my PC first. When she went home, she hooked it up to her PC and then she erased it by accident. I was able to restore all the missing stuff yesterday using my PC. However, even after doing that it still told me the next time I hooked it up last night that the iPod was currently synced with a different library. Hopefully, you can help me understand all this. It is not possible to create a new iCloud account using a Windows machine. You must create the account using a Mac (10.7.5 or more) or an IOS device (iPhone etc). Once that is done you can sign into and use the account on your Windows machine.
