Dbtype: I want write Oracle Date.
If i download Oracle Providers for ASP.Net .It can be solve the problem?
But since my database is Oracle 10g R1.
if i load Oracle Providers for ASP.Net is in the same home as Oracle Data Provider.
Can i load this tool? Is it compatible with 10g R2.

Once a quiz has been published and used, there is no way that Captivate provides to amend it. You need to make the revisions in the source project and publish it again.
Hopefully others will chime in to address the bit about how the LMS handles a quiz that has been updated. My thought is that as long as you use the same file name and upload it so it replaces what is there, things would be kept. But only someone versed in the dark arts of LMS can honestly answer that.

How can i use exisitng user data(Id, password) for user mapping

Hi All,
For User mapping , we can import user mapping data for many users from user administration. and for each user
we can maintain mapping data in the standard format.
eg:

uid=user2
$usermapping$:BCE:user=ext_user2
$usermapping$:BCE:mappedpassword=password
i am clear till this point.
this all works if we know the userid and passowrd on the system 'BCE'.the passwords on the system 'BCE', are encrypted . so there is no chance for me to know the passwords.
so how can i use the existed userid/passowrd on the system 'BCE' for the mapped user and mapped password on the portal while doing usermapping.

I think this should work.
1. Setup SSO with SAP logon tickets first. How to do this is described many places, e.g. http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/d3/41c8ecb31d11d5993800508b6b8b11/content.htm
This SSO will not work at first, because the username is different in the back-end system. So what you need to do is to get the back-end username into the ticket (don't need a password because that is done by the SAP logon ticket)
2. Create a portal component which uses the usermanagement API to create a usermapping which only consists of the username and a blank password. You can do this manually I think if you have no reference system defined.

Voila, this should allow you to do SSO using SAP logon tickets, but with another name that you use against the portal. I am uncertain if this will work if you have multiple usermappings in the sap logon ticket
PS since the sap logon ticket is issued at logon time, you need to relogon to get the changes done by the code

I want to use java.util.Date in View Context and in Custom Control Context of Web dynpro java. When i mapped of a Input Field to the java.util.Date then message shows that its not supported. Plz suggest me how to handle Date with different formats ??

If you always want the user to enter the date in dd/MM/yyyy, you can do the following.
Goto Local Dictonary -> Simple types in your project and create a type known as "InputDate" (or whatever you feel) of built-in type 'Date'.
Now specifiy its format in the 'Representation' tab as "dd/MM/yyyy" (case-senstive).
Now declare a value attribute say "inputdate" in your context with this type and bind the inputfield to this context value attribute.
This will solve your problem.
But if you want the user to input date depending on the region he belongs, change the default locale date in Control Panel->Regional and Language Options->Change to English(UK) -> Customize -> Date Tab -> Sort Date Format to dd/MM/yyyy.
Now clear the cache, delete temporary files and restart the machine. This should solve the problem.

Your iMac with ARD... this is the bona fide, ($300/$500) "Remote Desktop.app" admin install, or do you mean that you have ARD "Remote Management" access enabled or have tried to control Vista with Microsoft's similarly-named "[Remote Desktop Connection|http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/remote-desktop/default.mspx]" app? (Just making sure—it would be a very different conversation otherwise.)
Remote Desktop does lots of fancy stuff, but for the Observe and Control mechanisms it behaves as a plain-jane VNC client. It can connect to any standards-compliant VNC server. You should, for example, be able to run a different VNC client on your Mac and have a similar success/failure experience; perhaps the excelent [Chicken of the VNC|http://sourceforge.net/projects/cotvnc>. If you have the same failures, we'll still help, but ARD is obviously not the culprit. In any case, the usual suspects for windows VNC servers include UltraVNC, realVNC \[paid ver. required for vista\], and TightVNC. They all have caviats, but they're fairly well documented. Vista itself throws VNC under the bus "in favor of security" but again, you'll find lots of users in the same boat; unable to get the VNC server working on the Vista side. Your statement that you "couldn't even see the machines connected to it to get the IP" was bit confusing though, as devices don't need to be running a VNC server to at least show up in a scan (IP printers should appear, for example). Are you sure they're on the same subnet of the same lan/being otherwise scanned for correctly; or if remote, are you sure the remote Vista laptop is directly addressable with NAT from the web?

If you are looking at the entire music library ("Music") you can sort by any of the columns by clicking the column header. If there is a column you can't see, enable it by going to View > View Options.
Within a playlist, you can do the same, and in addition you can click above the column of sequence numbers, which will then allow you to drag tracks up or down to get any order you wish.

Per my understanding, you might want to set a default value to the Query String Filter Web Part.
It would not be able to set default value to the Query String Filter Web Part with the OOTB features available.
By default, with a Query String Filter Web Part in the current page, we can filter other web part in the same page by adding parameters and values in the address bar
of browser.
If setting the “Query String Parameter Name” of a Query String Filter Web Part as “t”, then we can filter the corresponding connected web part by inputting such an
URL into the address bar:

in our system there is already a complete transfer of calculations to BI (0CO_PC_PCP_01).
However I want to create a new data flow from ERP starting from the same data source.

welcome to SDN forums.
anydata source can be mapped only to a single infosource. but it will not ristrict you to have different datatargets from a single infosource. so you have to use filters in infopackages to select the data target and filter the data for this data sources. Only thing you have to do with old dataflow is just ristrict the data relavent for the 1st Datatarget in old Infopackage and re.initialize.

We have developers using C# to populate global temporary tables (two one header and detail with 1 to many relationbship between these two tables). The process of using C# was blowing up memory on Windows.
As an alternative I requested them to create two CSV files and I can use sqlldr to load the detail CSV file of over 1 million rows under 15 seconds. It came to my mind that I could use external tables for this purpose with getting read of header and trailer from the CSV files.
The issue I have is that I am not a DBA so I do not have access to OS host that Oracle instance is running. sqlldr is a client side tool, whereas external tables are server side. I was wondering if there is an alternative in 11g to use external tables without creating directories on the OS host that Oracle runs on? Are there other alternatives?

You cannot delete the account from the server (partly to prevent the username from becoming available again and some-one else using it to pretend to be you).. Having disengaged your devices from it, go to http://icloud.com and delete any data in there such as contacts and calendars. Then just ignore it.

My Requirement is that I hv a login screen which is taken from [http://blogs.oracle.com/shay/simpleJSFDBlogin.zip].
I hv attached BC in this application. I want to use the login usercode in the next pages after login screen. Next screen contains 3 list items which will be populating based on the user. So I created <af:selectOneChoice> using the BC( Just drag & dropped the column into the page from the data controls). But in the data control i want to use this usercode for passing the condition. Now Data is coming without any condition.
So How can I use the usercode in the Data controls query.

Anyway, you could add this before return "good"; in your login_action()

It's good to read Antoniad's post. It reassures me that I can use my new iPad as an international communication device which is the reason I purchased the thing. However, I called Verizon today (my provider of cellular data) who told me that I can't just pop in a SIM card as you suggested. He also said that he was from the "Pre-Pay" division of Verizon and he was certain that I couldn't do what I planned to do. I was extremely disappointed as I had called Apple prior to buying the iPad and I read the algorhythm on the website for choosing an iPad before purchasing. Those sources were quite specific and the information seemed clear. I would be able to use my iPad to communicate through cellular connections while traveling on the road, literally, abroad. I was told that I could pop in a data card wherever I was, just as you indicated in your message above, and voila I was good to go. The Verizon rep definitively rained on that parade, but said that I might be able to do this if I have a "Post-Pay" account, a different area of Verizon. I haven't had the chance to talk to this division yet, so I looked to Apple's Support for answers. Maybe I will find out that I can use my iPad as an international communication device while traveling on the road afterall, however, it appears I may need a different type of account (Post-Pay), something I was never warned about. Can I switch to this kind of account? I don't know. I have to find out. How can I use Automator to extract specific Data from a text file?

I have several hundred text files that contain a bunch of information. I only need six values from each file and ideally I need them as columns in an excel file.
How can I use Automator to extract specific Data from the text files and either create a new text file or excel file with the info? I have looked all over but can't find a solution. If anyone could please help I would be eternally grateful!!! If there is another, better solution than automator, please let me know!

I am new to Labview and I realized that quite often I am in condition to require a delay beween two functions or elements.. how can we insert a delay in such cases?
I know how to use delays in a loop. but don't know how to inser some time delay between two elements.
I have one more question, I know its a bad practice to post 2 questions in 1 thread.
How can I use a temporary variable to store data, So far I am storing it in an indicator by making it invisible in front panel and making local variable of that indicator, is it the right way to do it ?

Generally, LV doesn't have variables in the same sense that most languages do. You can use indicators to perform the same function as variables, but as Adnan pointed out, you run the risk of having race condition and it creates data copies, which is a problem if you have a lot of data. In most cases, you should use wires to perform the function of variables, which is to store data and make it available to the different functions in your code. Instead of thinking about variables, you need to think about data (something like "I have the data coming out of this function. Where does it need to go?").
Try to take over the world!
