How can I validate value of BigDecimal into af:inputText??

I have a af:inputText which value is binded a BigDecimal value.
The big decimal value is held in DB with number format NUMBER(10,2),
to validate this value, what types of validation technique should to be used?
NUMBER(10,2) , user is able to enter value with format just 10,100 or 10.02 etc.
The format with comma 10,2 the page automatically validate the value with message "java.lang.NumberFormatException", also how can I change this message.

I took the time to test and revise. This is code that will validate a date entry (format MM/DD/YYYY). Just paste this in the "Before the start of the form..." window of the Additional PL/SQL code section of the form. Then add validateDate(); into the onBlur event window of the field in question. Replace the CYCLE_END_DATE with the field name in question.

I have developed one custom report using ALV Grid program , as per the requirement i have to enter on the
data and when i press the value save the program sumits the data into my custom table . Till here every thing is fine
but one particular field i have declared as Char1 in my internal table , on the ALV output it is allowing me to enter
more than one character eg : it is allowing me to enter as Hyderabad .........even though i have declared as char 1 in the internal table ....however it is saving in the database table as H only that is correct.......but it is giving confusion to user
i want to validate that user shouldnt allow to enter more than one character in the alv output of the input field .
Please could any one let me know how can i validate.

check that field length in the final internal table .
might be that filed lenth in final internal table declartion is more than 1 char.

I have two matrix with subtotal for two grouping. I need to pass the value of this two group subtotal into another matrix table to display and perform simple calculation to get the differences.
How can I pass the subtotal amount into the other matrix?
In Crystal report I can define two variable where i can set the total to the value and call the two variable anywhere in the same report. But how can I do it in SSRS?

1. I can validate data in cells in setValueAt method but the cell data will be validated only if user click on that cell.
how can i validate another cell if user does not even touch it.
2. and if error how can i change background color.
3. i have JTextField for column as cell editor/renderer. To change the data user have to double click on cell. How can I make it to click once to edit the value in the cell.

Why would you want to validate a cell if a user doesn't change it?for example user clicked Add row, and i added a row in the table with blank information...so .all cells in the new row have blanks, so if user does not enter the data in the second column... which he did not touch...i want to catch it and produce error

Hi.
I creating my first flash (actionscript 3.0) website but I'm
stuck with a visual effect I want to create.
I have a window on my website called contentWindow. Every
time you click a button this window is supposed to leave the stage,
load the requested content and return to the stage.
The sliding window is a movie clip with 83 frames, 21 to
enter the stage, 21 to leave the stage again, 20 for nothing (its
just to simulate the loading time) and 21 to return to the stage.
Now my goal is, when the user clicks on a navigation button,
the window exits the stage, loads an external SWF with the content,
and then returns to the stage.
I've the "window" movie clip with an instance name of
"contentWindow". Inside there is another movie clip with an
instance name of "contentLoader". The content that the user
requested should appear inside the "contentLoader".
Now, when the contentWindow leaves the stage, I get this
error message:

If I switch
"contentWindow.contentLoader.addChild(navLoader);" for

And I am just wondering if the following might help you, in your
communication with the said swf file:

Not the best example, but this allows you to target a mc
within an external swf file. I think if you look up this code, you

How can I convert my Tiger DVD into a CD without spending more money and time? I've spent over seven hours trying to upgrade an iMac 350 Hz OS 9.1 to Tiger. I have changed the iMac firmware to 4.1.9, but found that my Panther disc was only an OSX Upgrade, although the 3 cds are labeled as Installation Discs. Since I have a Tiger disc I thought I would use that. Unfortunately, my iMac only reads CDs, not DVDs. I tried networking the iMac to my G5, but upon shutdown, the OSX disc cannot be accessed. I copied the DVD files to my iMac hard drive, but again, the OSX disc cannot be accessed after shutdown.
Is there a way I can burn a CD from the files of my Tiger DVD to get this task accomplished?

I purchased four iPods for my family this Christmas. I have six iMacs just sitting around not being used. I thought that I would turn one into an iPod work station, so everyone can use one computer to recharge and hook up to iTunes 7.
Unfortunately, iTunes does not work very well in OS9. Apple decided not to continue to support OS9 very well. I’ve spent several hours attempting to upgrade the iMac so I could set up iTunes 7. Unfortunately, my 3 Panther Installation Discs were mislabeled, and did not allow me to install OSX over OS9. My OSX 10.2.7 Installation Disc is a DVD, and my Tiger Installation disc is a DVD. Neither usable to update the iMac.
All I want to do is set up a dumb iMac as a network interface to my G5 because I've use all of the G5's ports for our recording studio and the iPods need external power source if they are plugged directly into the G5.
If you could show me an easier way to run iTunes 7 on the iMac I wouldn't be as ****** off as I am at Apple for not supporting the 9 older computers I own with usable help and upgrades.
