How can my client upload files and new articles to his website without involving me?

I have created a website for a client who wants to be able to add any new information to his articles without having to go through me again.
How does he do this?
I have added all permissions to him as a user. I know how he can edit existing information on the website, but not to add anything new.

Hi Tanya,
At this stage this is not possible out of the box in Muse to add the articles, you only can edit them using the in browser editing. To be able to add something without involving Muse, you will need to use a CMS system like business catalyst, where you can setup modules like blogs or news items for your client and they can add them from the back-end itself, which will reflect instantly on the site.
Since, this feature is not there in Muse at current stage, I will recommend that you post this on our ideas section over here, https://forums.adobe.com/community/muse/ideas, and let our devs team know of this requirement.

If you want someone to share a file with you so yes it is posible. people can register there email ID as Adobe ID on adobe.com and they can use upto 2GB of free spae for 1 month (Trial period) and upto 20Gb in case if they have purchased Creative Cloud membership and upto 100 in case they have Creative Cloud team account.
After sharing the file by someone you will get an email with the link to download the same on your computer.
If you want someone to upload files in your creative cloud storage then it is not posible because to upload the file on your creative cloud storage CC desktop app or creative.adobe.com website need a Adobe ID and password to login which is not there with the other user.

How can I transfer my files and documents from external hard drive to my new MacBook Air?

I recently bought a new MacBook Air and I would like to transfer my files and documents which I already saved in my external hard drive to this new mac. Unfortunately, I have not been able to do it so far. I tried to drag some files but the rest of the documents cant be transferred.

Describe exactly what you did when it failed and the error message you received that told you it failed. Dragging and dropping files from one drive to another will work. Having said that however, you need to be aware that trying to copy items with the same name will result in a warning dialog box offering several different options including canceling.
To better help you it would also be helpful to know about the external drive. Did you use TimeMachine to back up to that external drive? Did you copy files from another computer to the drive?

How can I move both files and ratings to another computer?

On my desktop, I didn't let iTunes manage my music as my desktop is old and the c drive has limited space. I have backed up the music and I have also saved the iTunes Library.itl and iTunes Music Library.xml files in the hope of being able to transfer my music to my laptop and retain all ratings information I've spent so much time setting up.
I've copied all music from my desktop to my notebook under the iTunes Music folder. I've also copied the .xml and .itl files. In iTunes I'm happy to see that my ratings info has been preserved but iTunes cannot seem to find my files. I've made sure that my iTunes music folder is correctly set. I've also tried to manually change the g:\ reference for file locations in the xml file but it seems this doesn't help because as soon as I open up iTunes again it sets everything back to the g:\ location. How can I fix this without manually pointing every song to where it now lives on my laptop?

PS Even worse is that I tried the consolidate library function on my desktop and now my desktop is in the same boat. Can't find the files unless I manually point to where they are.

we have a feature where customers can upload there files, we use portals for uploading files, form which has the file type is posted to a stored procedure and which in turns calls the wwv_things.saveitem.
we need to restrict a file size and file type for the uploading files, I can restrict the file type with javasript but wanted to find out if oracle portals has any way to restrict the uploading file size,

I have my aplication(power quality analiser),This VI obtain several varibles and make a lot of calculus and operation, to obtein others parameters in real time so my problem is Save the acquire data and calculus data into a file (similar as a report) every period(custumizable for the user in time units)
I mean make a only one file wich is write every period continuously , e.g. Start my principal VI and this event start the write of file, past one period,make other row or colum into the same file and continue that way until we stop the principal VI.
How can I make that?

assuming you have your trigger (notifier or just periodically) you can append the data to a single record.
Open the file, set the file position to the end, write the data and close the file.

How can i view data files and print them?

I'm collecting very large data files with the DAQ. Afterwards I'd like to be able to view them (zooming in and out and scrolling) then print when I get a view I like. How can I do this? Is there code out there already? What are some ways of easily visualizing large data files without using tons of PC memory and waiting for every data point to load?

There are some basic techniques that are useful in this sort of application. First, to get an overview of an entire dataset, a good place to start is to read in the file 20 or 30 samples at a time. As you read each block, perform an average and only plot the average. This on-the-fly decimation allows you to see very large blocks of data without bogging down you system.
Second, for the zoom function use the cursors. When the user selects an area to zoom in on, read just the values between the indices the user selects. If the selection is small enough you can display the data directly, otherwise you can decimate it as before-though probibly using a smaller block size.
For reading the position of the cursors, use property nodes.
The basic thing to rem
ember is that most PC screens are at most a couple thousand pixels wide. This video resolution places an absolute limit on the number of datapoints that you will be able to see without aliasing. In general it's better to decimate the data yourself than to let the video card do it.

Assuming you are using uiXML - check out the "Multipart requests" section in the JavaDoc for the oracle.cabo.servlet.AbstractPageBroker. The gist of it is that you'll want to create an extension of UIXPageBroker which overrides doUploadFile() and uses the MultipartFormItem API to get at the contents of the uploaded file.
If you are using UIX JSP, you can use the oracle.cabo.share.util.MutlipartFormHandler to explicitly process your multipart requests.
And of course, you'll want to include a fileUpload component in your UIX document - and be sure to set the "usesUpload" attribute of your UIX form to true.
