How can to get connection at runtime?

I use Jdev 11.1.1.4 adf JSF.
I have 2 connection into Model.jpx.
First I use in production and second I use in test.
I would like to change the value of the variable name nowDate, in "Bean Variables" in Query into "View Object".
Specifically, I'd like to change the value of nowDate either adf.currentDate, when I have choose first connection or *12/01/2010* when I have choose second connection.
It's possible?
I don't know how retrive the database connection used to create business components from existing database object by code and i don't know how to write the code in "Expression Editor" into "Bind Variable" of "View Object".
Thank's a lot for any help.

hi user2964099
... because I have not records with current Date into my local Database ...Maybe it is worth considering to get your data into the shape you need it (using SQL scripts), instead of making your application more complicated (possibly introducing bugs) just for this.
... and I do not know how to write the code in "Expression Editor" into "Bind Variable" of "View Object" for this ...In forum thread "ADF BC : how to use bind variable (default) values in UI "
at ADF BC : how to use bind variable (default) values in UI
I refer to the example application BindVarDefaultsInUIApp-v0.01.zip and I write about it ...

note : In the example application the Bind Variables have as default value a Groovy expression like "adf.object.viewObject.fromHireDateBVarDefault".... maybe that can help.

Hello! I have a huge question about how can I get connected my iphone 4 with my car Is there any opption on find my car application? I have a Volvo xc60 and I want to be connected all the time with my iphone. Can I do that?

Hello. I can say that you have a quite strange „huge question”… It’s non-sense to stay connected with your car which is hundreds miles away. Unless…
I have a theory. You don’t want to controll your car, you want to controll somebody who is driving the car. Volvo XC 60 is a nice family car, usually used by married men between age of 35-45, probably with small children, so it’s very unlikely that you want to controll your teanage kid, mainly because probably even if you would give him/her to drive the car in the neighborhoud, I don’t think that he/she would be „several hundred miles away”…  If your child is not young teneage anymore, and he/she has his/her own life, but you want to control him/her, that is sick… So I am convinced that you want to controll your husband who probably travelling often! Am I wright?
Isnt’t nice at all! Would you like if you would be monitorized in such way? I bet you don’t!
Anyway, iPhone is smart, you can use for many things, but come on, you really were thinking that there is such kind of application???
What could you do it's to put in the car a GPS survelling system, however I don't think that you could do it without your husband knowledge, otherwise he won't be able to start the engine...

  • How can I get Connection(Database Connection)on my backing bean

    hello guys!
How can I get the Database Connection on my managed bean?
I want to use this connection for my reports.
    thanks a lot!
    alvin

    Alvin,
You can access the data provider through ADF the binding. The data provider represents the business service you use. Once you have a handle to this you can get the connection.
You don't mention the business service, so I cannot help you more than this. If it is ADF BC, have a look at http://download.oracle.com/docs/html/B25947_01/toc.htm and the stored procedure section. Steve Muench explains a trick to access the "real" JDBC connect used by ADF BC

  • How can I get connection between VC and back end ABAP system

Hi, I'm developing the kits in the VC platform, and I need to access the back end system designed by ABAP. For example, the system provides some public functions(not web services), and I hope when I click the "search" button, the VC front can call the remote functions and get the data from the back end system. In addition to that, the most important is I must keep the connection real-time. How can I do it?

Thanks for your help. At present, my VC version is 7.1.4 which isn't installed in the portal server but in local machine, and I'm new in the VC. What I want is when I click the "search" button(in the properties pannel), I can get the data from the remote server. I know the VC 6 provides similar functions, but the current version doesn't. Could you explain the details of how to get and keep the connection between them? Thanks so much.

  • I have an HP Officejet 7210 all in one printer, have loaded Printer Pro to IPad, get successful test pages in the Print Pro App but can't print emails (or anything). error message is No AirPrinter found.  How can I get connected?

I have an HP OfficeJet 7210 all in one printer, have loaded Printer Pro and had a successful test while in Printer Pro.  When I try to print and email I get NO AIR PRINTER message,  How can I connect my printer to my IPad and print emails.

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
If you're using the Printer Pro app, you're not going to use AirPrint services.
They are not the same thing.
Are you using the 'Open In' option to get the email into Printer Pro for printing?
    http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/printer-pro/id393313223?mt=8
Once installed, Printer Pro appears in the "Open In..." list on your device. This lets you print documents from Mail, Safari, ReaddleDocs and many other applications on your iPad that supports this function.
Using "Open In..." approach you can print files from many popular online storages: Dropbox, MobileMe iDisk, GoogleDocs. It just a matter of several taps to download your file via free Dropbox, iDisk or Google Docs application and send it to printer.

  • How can I get connection from iMac to TV wirelessly ?

How can I view photos from my Mac hard drive or from an external hard drive on my TV screen? My Sonia Bravia TV is in another room and has a Wireless LAN adaptor which detects my Router and connects, and also detects an external hard drive connected to the Router via Ethernet. But it does not detect my iMac (can be connected to my router via ethernet or wifi- makes no difference), nor can it connect to the external hard drive. I don't care which source I send the photos from, but at least one would be good! The Router is a Netgear DG834GT.

You can use an Apple TV.
Otherwise, you cannot do what you are attempting.  Your television cannot access the devices and files on your Mac.

  • I am on vacation and I am unable to get internet connection using my Powerbook G4 (with built-in Airport). It is only showing a WPA Personal for the wireless security option and the resport password is being rejected. How can I get connected?

I need some help trying to get connected from a remote location with my Powerbook. I am a graphic designer on vacation and need to keep in touch with my clients. Need help ASAP!

Looks like you are working with a vintage product and the operating system is a little outdated, which makes it harder to troubleshoot. It's possible that it doesn't support WPA (depending on the Airport card built-in). Otherwise, if you can connect via ethernet, check for software updates. It even might be as simple as restarting the computer.

  • How can I get rid of runtime error r6034

I have used itunes for windows for years now I am receiving a runtime errot r6034 & 1114. How do I get rid of there?

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

  • I have an older Power Mac and it does not have the ability/hardware to connect to my wireless network. It is on 2nd floor which has no ethernet connections available. How can I get connected wirelessly?

I have an older Power Mac desktop computer. I do not believe it has the hardware to connect wirelessly to my wireless network. The computer is located on the 2nd floor of my house where there are no ethernet network connections so I would have to use wireless to connect to the internet. I have a wireless LinkSys router downstairs that I use to create my wireless network. I also have a Time Capsule upstairs but without the ability to plug an ethernet network cable into it, I cannot use it to get internet access t the computer.
What hardware can I add to give me the abiity to connect the Power Mac to my wireless network?
Is there a way perhaps to link routers? IE. Can I somehow have my existing wireless router downstairs connect wirelessly with the Time Capsule upstairs that i could then plug the Power Mac into for connectivity?
Not sure what version of OS this computer is currently using but do know it does not have the newer dual Intel processors. As such I am unable to update to newer OS versions.

While uselessSABOTAGE's advice is great, in case of future issues, it would helps us in the future if you would post accurate tech specs of your model iMac.
You info states you have an older IMac PowerMac, but is also says your OS X version is OS X 10.7.2.
This is not possible. OS X 10.7.2 Lion only runs on Intel CPU Macs.
Please, go up to the Apple symbol in the upper top left of OS X main menu bar. Click the symbol. Then click About this Mac. A popup window appears that gives some basic info. Then, click the More Info button and both post your iMacs complete specs by selecting/highlighting all of the info and copy paste this into a reply to this post, editing out your iMac's serial number. Then update the info you posted in your user profile with some of this new found data for future postings.

I think something like this should work:
    1) sudo iwconfig wlan0 essid [wireless network name]
    2) sudo iwconfig wlan0 key [wepkey]
    3) sudo dhcpcd wlan0
Another way is to enter the appropriate info in /etc/rc.conf [networking section] and /etc/conf.d/wireless and then you can just do "sudo /etc/rc.d/network restart".
This is all from memory so I could have messed something up...

  • Baby monitor requires WPS button to be pressed on router.  How can I get connectivity?

I recently bought D-Link DCS-5222L baby internet monitor.  I've been having problems connecting it to the internet.  I'm trying to connect it wirelessly.  The monitor user guide is requiring the WPS button to be pressed on the router, but Airport Extreme doesn't have this (I'm new to MAC).   How do I connect the two?

What do you mean by 'see it on the AirPort'?
If you want to see the camera online I believe mydlink needs to be used, or you can forward ports if you use a web browser to access the camera.

If you start a thread explaining the issue, you should get help from lots of people.
There should be no problem using an iPad charger with an iPhone. I've been doing it since the first iPad as it's easier to carry the same charger for both devices.
And, yes, Lawrence is incredibly knowlegable. We're lucky to have him here.
    Best of luck.
