How (or where in the manual are the instr) l) do i delete a part of a clip and rejoin the audio on each side. This is most frustrating. The join command is never available. If i select an area to delete everything above and below is deleted, whether or not its selected and whether or not its mute. I find in the manual only ways to move entire clips. I need to remove 2 words from a clip in one track.

i'm assuming your working in the multi-track mode since you didn't specify. select the razor blade tool and make two cuts to the audio, one where you want the cut to start, the other where you want the cut to end. select this smaller region that you want to delete and press the delete key.
now you'll have a gap of silence where that unwanted clip was. select the clip(s) to the right of the cut and drag them left. the default behavior is to do a cross fade when the clips overlap. you'll probably have to play with the cross fade amount in order to get it to sound natural.

Now I ceate a user accout whis is user type and put him into remote desktop group.
he can login this server by remote desktop.
My server is windows 2003 but not in nt domain and it is a workgroup computer.
I want to limit him access right on one folder in which have many folders and .exe file.
I only want he can read , write,modify file and traverse folder but not execute any .exe file.
How can I implement this through NTFS.
Please give me some advice.

Sounds like you may be looking for a "Select Purse and Extract Onto White Background" function.
Instead, think more along the lines of:
Select just the purse pixels
Refine selection to handle edges better
Copy selected pixels into a new layer with a mask based on the selection
Set background to a white fill
It's going to take a *little* elbow grease, but fortunately the above operations are fairly well supported by Photoshop's tools, and it's normally a fairly quick and easy task using e.g., the Quick Selection Tool, Refine Edge button, Layer - New Fill Layer, etc.
See this particular video for how-to, but think "purse" instead of "girl's head and hair":

I am using AP, GL and CE. My customer has this problem. When he registers a new invoice for some specific suppliers, he wants to do this accounting:
Credit 10% of invoice amount in a tax account
Credit 90% of invoice amount in liability account which defaults from the supplier site
Debit 100% expense account
I did not find any solution for this, so please help me because my customer is stuck at this point.

I have followed the steps in AP guide section you advised.
I have set up a new withholding tax.
After I register a new invoice, on distribution screen I wanted to specify the new tax on "Tax Code" field and after clicking on "Calculate Tax" button the system was supposed to calculate the withholding tax. But on the invoice distribution, on "Tax Code" field it does not display the tax I have added.
Please give me a hint, am I missing any step on configuration of withholding tax, so that it may be displayed on this field?

How to avoid the selection of a Parent node and its child node at a time?

Example:
consider the below JTree.
Parent1
---->Parent2
-------->Child3
Parent3
---->Parent4
My requirement :
Parent1 and Parent3 can be selected at a time(using ctrl keys)
Parent2 and Parent4 can be selected at a time
Parent1 and Parent2 should not allowed to select at a time.
In general : A parent and any of its child should not be selected at a time.
How to achieve this? Anyone please help me.

First of all, you're OT.
Second, you can find this everywhere in the net.
If you got a manifest declaring main class (an classpath if needed), just create a file named whatever.bat, within same directory of jar file, containing:
javaw -jar ./WhateverTheNameOfYourJarIs.jar %*By the way, assuming a Windows OS, you can just double click the jar file (no batch is needed).
Otherwise use:
javaw -cp listOfJarsAndDirectoriesSeparedBySemiColon country/company/application/package/className %*Where 'country/company/application/package/' just stands for a package path using '/' as separator instead of '.'
Don't specify the .class extension.
Javaw only works on Windows (you asked for batch, I assumed .BAT, no .sh), in Linux please use java.exe (path may be needed, Windows doesn't need it 'cause java's executables are copied to system32 folder in order to be always available, see PATH environment variable if you don't know what I'm talking about) and use ':' as classpath (cp) separator.
The '%***' tail is there in order to pass all parameters, it only works on Windows, refer to your shell docs for other OSs (something like $* may work).
This way you have a command you can call to launch your code (instead of opening NetBeans just to see your app working). You could schedule tasks on it or just call it in any command prompt (hope you know what it is 'cause there have been people in this very same forum with no clue about it, if not just hold the 'Windows button' and press 'R', then type 'cmd' and run it).
Finally add dukes and give 'hem away.

How can I figure out what my password is and keep it unlocked? Every time I do a system update, it requires the password and sends me into cyber trouble with the remember my keychain access, requiring it every time I log in. A real hassle to be avoided

I had to change it due to my teenagers helping themselves, and now every time there is a system update, I have to have the password, which I cannot remember or find. It then wants it every time I log in and pops up Key Chain Access as well. Very annoying. I do not have the disc to reload it and fear I would loose everything on my computer as there is also trouble with the back up system. Too many issues and not enough solutions. Why not? You need your system dvds to troubleshoot & to reset/change passwords in view of your current OS listed in your profile.

Old school--- > Print it out & keep in a safe place. A place that ONLY you know about AND never forget.

What I did was to put in the same name for Album Artist in every track. That seemed to do the trick (previously all those fields were empty). It seems like a lot of work for a simple thing.
iTunes knows (or should know) that these tracks were imported from one CD. So why is it relying on incomplete data from the gracenote database?
