How create a variable with not like 'Virtual'

I'm creating a report and my requirement is to select all plant names wich does not have 'VIRTUAL' word in the name. Can you tell me how to do this?
Can you tell me how to create a variable and what to have in it?

How to create date variable with interval in VC

Hi Everyone,
I have 2 questions:
My scenario:
I am using a BI 7.0 Query which is having some variables. I want the same variables to be displayed in the VC output.
Question 1:
I know that how to bring these variables in variable screen, but when we use these queries, dont the variables in the variable screen automatically ask for the input?
I tried it but it is not happening automatically.
There are 2 inputs for queries with variables, i tried using both, but it is not working properly. Can any one tell me is it possible.
Question 2:
In this variable screen, I have to select date with interval format. but i dont know how to use variable with interval. ( Date with interval format).
I hope some one might have come across the same scenario .. If so please share with the solution me ..

Ok .. Let me be very clear .. I think I confused you.
As you mentioned I have done every thing in query level.
I have created a query with a variable which is an interval based variable(date).
When I execute the query it asks for the dates to display the inbetween data.
I gave the inputs and the data is displayed properly.( So far what I have mentioned is all in Query designer).
In VC, I have used this query and it is having two ports named INPUT and VARIABLE. I know that I need to give input in variables. I selected the calander month variable from the list to display. After this I deployed the model. In the output screen the table is displayed and 1 text box is also available for the date input. I know that here I have to give date with same format as in Query designer output. I tried so many ways to give input by even selecting some other options like date picker but it is giving the following error - Variable expects interval values; enter an interval.
The date format which I m using in Query is "MM.YYYY" and I m using the same format in VC too.
Now I hope that u can understand better.
I want to know is there any other way through which this can enter interval value or what mistake I m doing in the above explained scenario?

I would like use TestStand with Python module. So I believe, we must use a DLL for execute a test, I'm wrong because I can use .exe for realize a test.
Now I know how use TestStand with Python module but I have a mistake. I wonder which is error 255?
Whereas I use .exe in Language C, I have no error.

Goto SD-> BASIC functions->Output control->Output determination->Output determination by condition technique->Maintain Output determination for sales documents
Here define all like access sequences, Output types, condition tables and assign them to Program and Forms.
From SE71 copy the script to a Zscript and to modify it to suit your requirements and the same Zscript has to be assigned to Output type, Program in NACE transaction.

How create data store with PermSize > 512MB on WIN32? If I set PermSize > 512MB on WIN32, then data store becomes invalid.

Thanks for the details. As I mentioned, due to issues with the way Windows manages memory and address space it is generally not possible to create a datastore larger than around 700 Mb on WIN32. Sometimes you may be lucky and get close to 1 GB but usually not. The issue is as follows; on Windows, a TimesTen datastore is a shared mapping created from memory backed by the paging file. This shared mapping must be mapped into the process address space as a contiguous range of addresses. So, if you have a 1 GB datastore then your process needs to have a contiguous 1 GB range of addresses free in order to be able to connect to (map) the datastore. Unfortunately the default behaviour of Windows is to map DLLs into a process address space all over the place and any process that uses any significant number of DLLs is very unlikely to have a contiguous free address range larger than 500-700 Mb.
This problem does not exist with other O/S such as Unix or Linux nor does it exist with 64-bit Windows. So, if you need to use a cache or datastore larger than around 700 Mb you need to use either 64-it Windows or another O/S. Note that even on 32-bit Linux/Unix TimesTen datastores are limited to a maximum size of 2 GB. If you need more than 2 GB you need to use a 64-bit O/S.

Goto SE71, enter form name--> click change
1) click in page window command button, Identify the header and footer window
2) single click on Header window and click change button(pencil symbol)
3) identify the fields and change order of the fields

As you probably know, DVD creation in Compressor and FCPX is very limited – and it only accommodates single tracks.
But there is no reason why you can't put multiple movies on a single timeline in FCP. Separate them with inserted gaps and add chapter markers to provide some level of navigation among them.

How to use variable in the LIKE function along with % operators

Is there any way i can use the variable in the Like function. That means i have query like
SELECT * FROM Device WHERE DeviceName LIKE %v_MediaName%;
Here "v_MediaName" is the userdefined variable which contains string. I want to retrieve all the records from the "DEVICE" table whose DeviceName LIKE %v_MediaName%;
If i put it in a single quotes '%v_MediaName%' then the v_MediaName will be treaded as a string instead of a variable. I am using this query in a Procedure.
please help me out to resolve the issue.

How create a variable that changes (by 0.05) on each iteration in a loop?

We are trying to control New Era Syringe pumps using Labview. We want that those pumps could dispense different volumes on wells. For example 0.05ml in well one (using actuators we can move the wells), 0.1ml in well 2, 0.15ml in well 3 and so on. We think that we may need a "For loop" in which the number of iteration is the number of wells, but we do not know how to create a variable, inside the loop that can increase .05 on each iteration, and then we can use that variable as a "volume input" in our program.

Query with not like

Hi,
I am strugling with a query to display only Production Order in which there is lack of item '05.%'...
Is there a way to achieve only such Production Orders list ?
Any help would be appreciated.

ok, maybe I'll give the example as I don't know the solution:
SELECT T0.[DocNum], T0.[ItemCode], T0.[Status], T0.[Type], T0.[PlannedQty], T1.[ItemCode]
FROM OWOR T0 INNER JOIN WOR1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry
WHERE T1.[ItemCode] not like '05.%'
as result I see Production Orders, when I enter some of these documents I see they have '05.%' item in line, the question is how to list only the documents without '05.%' item.

Instance admin: root
Instance home directory: /opt/TimesTen/tt70_1
Daemon home directory: /var/TimesTen/tt70_1
Access control enabled.
I set PermSize = 4096MB for my new data store. Then I tryid to create it:
ttIsql -connStr "DSN=tt_rddb1;UID=ttsys;PWD=ttsys;OraclePWD=ttsys;Overwrite=1" -e "exit;"
But operation was failed:
836: Cannot create data store shared-memory segment, error 22.
Can I create data store with such size on HP-UX 64-bit???

Is largefiles enabled? I believe you can check with fsadm -F vxfs /filesystem
Also please understand that 'PermSize' is not the only attribute affecting the size of the timesten shared memory segment. The actual resulting size is
PermSize + TempSize + LogBuffSize + Overhead
So you would need to configure shmmax to be > 4g. Have you tried setting it to (say) 8g (just for testing purposes to see if it eliminates the error).

Performance issue with NOT LIKE 'VA%' in Sql Query

I'm fetching vendor details from po_vendor_sites_all , in the where clause i use vendor_site_code NOT LIKE 'VA%'. Database:10g
NOT LIKE is reducing the performance, any other option to increase the performance.
Any suggestions?

Assuming a fairly even distribution of vendor_site_codes and assuming a LIKE 'VA%'
would pick up 1% of the rows and assuming an index on vendor_site_codes
and a reasonable clustering we might expect that query to use an index.
Your query is NOT LIKE 'VA%' which implies picking up 99% of the rows = Full table scan.
The only option I can think of is to use parallelism in your query (if the system has the
power to handle it) or perhaps use more where clause restrictions on indexed column(s)
to reduce the number of rows picked up.
I've had to assume a lot of things as you don't give any info about the table and data.
If you could provide more information we might be able to help more.

Follow below step.
1. First create a dataset. The select statement or result set must contain (App_id, name, phone,salary...).
2. Add a report parameter "App ID" with default setting.
3. Drag dataset fields to a table or tablix. Select the tablix properties. Go to Filter section.
4. Select the expression as Field App ID, Operator as "=" and Value as Parameter App ID.
