How define Value Set to validate date against sysdate

Hi gurus,
I need to validate Value Set against current date. The date entered should be today date or higher.
During defining Value Set I choose Format Type: Standard Date. The problem is that
I can not enter value "sysdate" to Min Value field. The following error shows up:
"Please enter date values sysdate in correct format: DD-MM-RRRR".
Is it possible to achieve what I need ?

Hi Hussein,
I enter not a concrete date but 'sysdate' value.
The message is of course DD-MM-YYYY in English (DD-MM-RRRR is inPolish). Sorry of mistake.
I afraid I can not achieve it using Standard Date Format Type.

I am trying to set up a form where a user can sign up for access to a secure zone for 1 year. How do I set the expiration date of the secure zone for them to expire one year after they sign up for it?
I have tried using a hidden field named "ZoneExpiry" (I have tried "ExpiryDate" as well) in the form and set its value attribute manually in the HTML (with the format 13-May-13), and the expiration date always ends up being 31-Dec-9999.

Have a hidden input field on form <input name="ZoneExpiry" id="ExpiryDate" />
Then have a function as follows:

Apple never included the auto-update feature for dates in Pages v5.2.2. You would have to single-click the date, and deliberately update it.
If you have Pages ’09 v4.3 in /Applications/iWork '09, then it will allow you to configure auto-update of the date field. Right-click on the date, set the format, and click the selection for automatically update on open.

Problem While Defining "VALUE SET"

I wanted to select "DISTINCT" Column from a particular Table.
It is not allowing me to select distinct Column.

Check the system profile ICX: Date Format Mask. Is it set at the application level? Does each user have different date format?
How do you access the application? Through ICXINDEX page or through dev60cgi/f60cgi?
Please note that changing the above profile option will not affect users logging through dev60cgi/f60cgi, in case you need to change it for the users who are accessing the application this way you can use the FORMS60_USER_DATE_FORMAT parameter in the url

How to dynamic set the X date series...

Hi,
I set the X axis date value interval 1 so it can show as a daily "date", however, the chart is good if the data point is within 24 records. However, when I draw 7 days data (around 168 records), the x axis date lable will be messed up and cannot
view the actual date values.
Could you advise a formular to evaluate the returned data set, if it is bigger than a variable (e.g 168 or returned data set records is larger than 168 then it will set to auto) ??

According to your description, you create a chart and many values display on X axis, then you can’t see the actual date value clearly. So you want to make X axis values group on date, right?
In your scenario, since there are too many records within 7 days, it will have too many date appear on the category (X-axis). However, we could specify the dataset fields group on day values, and make label displays as YYYY-MM_DD using expression. Please
refer to steps below:
1. Specify Label with expression Category Group Properties like below:
=Year(Fields!date.Value)&"-"&Month(Fields!date.Value)&"-"&day(Fields!date.Value)
2. Specify the Group on expression Category Group Properties like below:
=day(Fields!date.Value)
3. Preview the report.

How to Set the Effective Date to Sysdate in OAF Page

Hi All,
I am new to OAF and started working on OAF. I have a unique situation and I am unable to get it going. Here is the situation.
1) Currently on Benefits module when an user logons he/she will be directed to FamilyMbrsPG. In this Page I had extended the controller(BenEnrlHeaderCO) to set the Effective Date to as that of life event occured date. This is working fine.
But the issue arrises when one clicks the next button on FamilyMbrsPG. The requirement is when One navigates to CurrOvwPG at that page the effective date needs to be reset to Sysdate which I am unable to do. But the probloem is when I am trying to debug the controllers files of CurrOvw It is pointing to the controller class of FamilyMbrsPG which is BenEnrlHeaderCO.
I was trying to reset the Effective Date as of sysdate.
Can you please let me know as how to proceed from here.

Well here it is

In this scenario what is happening is for the page CurrOvwPG there are 6 controller class files which are as follows.:
1) BeneficiariesOverviewCO.java
2) CoveredDependentsOverviewCO.java
3) CurrentBenefitsCO.java
4) CurrentBenefitsTopCO.java
5) SelectionOverviewTableCO.java
6) SelectionsOverviewCO.java
When I ran the project in debug mode and placed the breakpoints for the controller class files. As soon as I click the next button in FamilyMbrsPG the breakpoint in occuring at line31 of BenEnrlHeaderCO which is again a controller class file for FamilyMbrsPG which has been already extended to set EffectiveData to that of Life even occured Date.
Now in CurrOvwPG I need to reset the EffectiveDate to Sysdate. Please let me know if this is clear...

we are currently trying to set a "validity date" for vendors.
Basically, our vendors need to be audited, and are "accepted" for a period of time, beyond which we'd need to re-audit them.
What we'd like the system to do is block use of the vendor if this date was exceeded.
Anyone has an idea on the way to achieve this?
PS: We know that there is a way to do this at the material level, we instead wish to manage it centrally for the vendor

before doing business with a new vendor for services, our QA group needs to go thru a serie of verifications. We check various things such as insurance, certification,...
Once "approved", the vendor can be utilised by the plant for a certain period of time, after which a "re-audit" is necessary.
What I'd like to implement is a field where the QA group would enter this date, after which the vendor would be automatically blocked for usage.
This would then trigger the "re-audit" followed by the release from QA (who'd re-modify the date with the new one), and so on.
The vendor is not necessarily used for supply chain. Sometimes, it could be for services , maintenance, or other.

Your iMac with ARD... this is the bona fide, ($300/$500) "Remote Desktop.app" admin install, or do you mean that you have ARD "Remote Management" access enabled or have tried to control Vista with Microsoft's similarly-named "[Remote Desktop Connection|http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/remote-desktop/default.mspx]" app? (Just making sure—it would be a very different conversation otherwise.)
Remote Desktop does lots of fancy stuff, but for the Observe and Control mechanisms it behaves as a plain-jane VNC client. It can connect to any standards-compliant VNC server. You should, for example, be able to run a different VNC client on your Mac and have a similar success/failure experience; perhaps the excelent [Chicken of the VNC|http://sourceforge.net/projects/cotvnc>. If you have the same failures, we'll still help, but ARD is obviously not the culprit. In any case, the usual suspects for windows VNC servers include UltraVNC, realVNC \[paid ver. required for vista\], and TightVNC. They all have caviats, but they're fairly well documented. Vista itself throws VNC under the bus "in favor of security" but again, you'll find lots of users in the same boat; unable to get the VNC server working on the Vista side. Your statement that you "couldn't even see the machines connected to it to get the IP" was bit confusing though, as devices don't need to be running a VNC server to at least show up in a scan (IP printers should appear, for example). Are you sure they're on the same subnet of the same lan/being otherwise scanned for correctly; or if remote, are you sure the remote Vista laptop is directly addressable with NAT from the web?

I probably understood your question wrong.
I was somehow assuming you were referring to classification data.. Sorry abt that.
The tax data gets populated automatically while creating the material master.
Th key lies in configuration.. You would have to use Tcodes OVK1, OVK4 to define the material and the tax categories by country
The tax data is populated by the assignment that you make in OVX6.. I believe.. assigning plants t Sales org. Th country code defined in the plant OX10 is used to determine the tax data and once you customize this part.. You should start seeing the tax data populate when you use that sales org while creating MM

I have a LOV and other messageInputText items on the page. I need to be able to change the messageInputText item data type based on the value selected from LOV. How can I do that?

1)Allow PPR on the item that receives the LOV values
2)Edit the VO query and create a SQL based column, which in turn will control the switcher. Something like –
decode(nvl(to_char(EmployeeEO.END_DATE), 'N'), 'N', 'DataType1', 'DataType2') AS DELETE_SWITCHER
3)Now add a switcher region with two cases in your page. Each case should represent the two possible values defined in the SQL based column ( “DataType1”, DataType2” in the above example).
4)Add two messageTextInput items under each case, but with different datatypes.
