How do I access my family's library to put it on my ID now I have one of my own?
Hi. I have just created my own apple id to separate myself from my mum's iphone. How do I move songs from our library over to my account so I can still have access to them for my Ipod?
You can use home sharing to transfer music that you imported to iTunes (IE you ripped a cd). Purchased content is tied to the appleID that was used when it was downloaded.

Recently had a PC crash. All data and information on hard drive was saved and reinstalled in new PC as a local drive. How do I access the saved music library that exsists onwhat is now a local drive in the new PC. My itunes account only shows purchased songs. I know my saved library is here, but I can't figure out how to access and get the saved library on itunes.

How do I access content that has been backed up to iCloud? I no longer have an iphone, but I want to access the music/pictures I've stored to the cloud. When I logged in to iCloud, there was no tab or option to view content. Please help.
Without an iPhone or iPod Touch to restore the backup to, you cannot access the camera roll photos stored in the iCloud backup. Signing into the account on your computer and enabling photo stream will only allow you to access photo stream photos from the last 30 days, and any shared stream you were subscribed to.

Help! I have 2 problems related to iPhoto:
1: I accidentally ran iPhoto Library Upgrader on my Picture folder and now I have to right click on it to "show contents" instead of double clicking on it and looking at it in Finder. I cannot figure out how to fix my Pictures Folder so that I can click on it and view it in Finder, when I double click on it Terminal opens up with this message "Pictures - Bash 80x24" and

2: When I try to Upgrade my Library.iPhoto file so I can open it in iPhoto it says I need to finish by opening in iPhoto, but then when I do, it tells me it first needs to be upgraded in the iPhoto Library Upgrader... My current "iPhoto Library" file is OK (I can open it with iPhoto), however I cannot access the old one from iPhoto 6 titled Library.iPhoto

You don't. Apps are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them. Instead of creating a new ID, change the primary email address on your existing ID.

Sounds like you encrypted your iPhone backup, & if so it's asking for the encrypted backup password. Do you have a company Exchange account on your phone?

How can I access the Home Sharing Library from my iPad?
We have an ipad 2 with ios 7, and an imac with itunes 11.1.3
Just heard about home sharing and want to use this - surprised we haven't heard of it before
home sharing is turned on in itunes (file > home sharing).
home sharing is on for the ipad (settings > music)
They are both connected to the same wifi network (usually our computer doesnt use wifi and is wired, but we turned wifi on just for this)
When I open music in the ipad (even after continually quitting and reopening the app) there is no 'more' button in the bottom right that there is supposed to be.
What is wrong? How do I access the library from the ipad? Help please!Welcome to the Apple community.
More does more than home sharing, so it's odd that it isn't there, even if home sharing wasn't working for some reason. Are you sure you are in the music app and not the iTunes App. -
How to control access to a document library based on fields of the list?

I need to give access to a document library but the users who need permission are unknown until the form
is submitted to the document library. The 2 users information are in 2 fields of the form. I created a infopath form and a workflow with it.
I need to give the "CreatedBy" user, the person who completed and submitted the form, and the
Requester (a data field on the form), both need access to the new document library or just to the forms they submitted. How do I setup access for the createor and requester of the form? These are unknown until the time of the form submission and
it's dynamic.
Anyway to implement this in SP? If not what about coding for when the form is loaded. Can
someone point me to a sample coding for ref fields in the form when form is first loaded up? Also, how to redirect to a access denied view in the code.

How to use/access my previous itunes library in itunes.
I accidently deleted all my songs then emptied trash (i am on a mac, and i sick of window users solving their problems) and now i have 1/90th of my songs (i have around 2,500 songs. I still have my video, but i want my songs back. There is the previous library i had before the upgrade to 7.6, that is very recent. I've tried to downgrade (7.5) then import my previous itunes library, but that wont work. How can I access or find my wishlist I created on itunes??? I was searching itunes using my husband's account but didn't have his password - so instead of buying - I added all the songs using the wish list so I can buy them at a later date when he arrived home - I wanted to check the list and I discovered I can't find anywhere that says "wishlist".....
If it was your husband's account that was logged in when you added the songs then it will be linked to his account - if his account is still logged in then on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on the computer's iTunes there should be a Quicklinks section with a wish list link underneath it which should have them on it :
(There used to be a 'buy all' button on the wish list screen, but you now have to buy each item individually by clicking on their price.) -

How can i access my home itunes library from an ipad while i'm abroad?
I've got my ipad 2 with me on holiday abroad and want to access a video that is stored on my laptop back home (it is in iTunes on the laptop but is not a purchased video). my iCloud Drive is activated in Beta (whatever that means), photo backup enabled and all that stuff. I can't for the life of me figure out how to view photos that are already in my iCloud photo stream on my phone.
bascially, everyone wants Apple to do a proper cloud storage option for high end media, majority people thought iCloud photo library beta was this great service purchase high storage all in the cloud, sadly the only thing it does decently is sync. If you want a real cloud photo storage option, choose another service. This is a beta so hopefully they wake up. I have NO idea what the point of selling higher tier storage options ( backup???) make any sense for a iCloud photo library user, you will certainly run out of storage on your device crippling yourself with reduce quality media rather then actually making use of the higher storage.
just really odd, you just simply have to scratch your head on iCloud photo library and the tier cloud pricing lol it's like a joke.
