How do I add an input source besides English in Gnome Shell? [SOLVED]

Hello.
I'm a bit confused as to how I should add additional languages/input sources in Gnome Shell. When I ran Gnome Shell in Ubuntu, I could add additional input sources via the Region & Language section of the Gnome control panel, but in Arch I've only got English (my locale is en_US.UTF-8). I'd like to be able to switch between English & Hebrew.
Do I need to install an underlying gnome package for handling additional input sources? Or do I need to manually add a locale? The wiki seems unclear on this. Also, should I use localectl? I'm also a bit unsure there.

Edit the file at /etc/locale.gen and un-comment the desired locale then run:

You can maybe explore button and forms feature in InDesign. It was added in CS6.

How to have same keyboards input source in Mac and Windows???

I use Canadian French-CSA on my Mac keyboards input source. Using Windows 7, I can't find the good setting for my keyboards to be the same when I it keys.

The speed of your internal network generally is much much faster than the speed of your internet connection. Unless he has an internet connection faster than approx 6Mbps then even dropping down to the old 802.11b Airport would not seen any decrease in speed of downloads etc...

If his PC is 802.11b/g-compliant, it shouldn't have any problems connecting to the AirPort base station.

The other AirPorts would work, but the AirPort Express & older 802.11g AirPort Extreme base stations have a max. range of 150 feet.
OR-- should I head down to "Generic Computer Store" and just by a wireless router (WiFi)(think that's what they call them) and connect this to his cable modem? IF SO WILL THAT WORK FOR MY MAC?
That is always an option as well, especially since he will be the primary user throughout the year. I'd suggest going with a brand name, like Belkin, D-Link, or Linksys for the wireless router choice.

I think I've accidentally marked the problem as solved, but in fact it's not.
What is needed is that the firefox remember different input methods (languages, for instance, En or Fr) for different tabs so that when I switch between several tabs I don't need to change the layout.
Chrome remembers my language settings for each tab, so it's not always one language for all the same tabs there. I haven't found such an option in Firefox so far.

How to change Korean IME input to type English first not Korean

First the link that the forum gave did not work. so i am posting this to get help.
I am currently using Win 8.1 and Language input Korean (IME)
Korean IME has two input itself (Englsih and Korean)
So the windows system itself uses Englsih first always (like note pad, changing fold/file name and etc.)
but when i start game or internet explorer and a lot of other apps that i use start with Korean. (google.com, yahoo.comm LoL and etc) which is really annoying since all the other version of windows (previous versions: like win
7 and before) started with English. Some apps or games dont support Korean they are fine but like LoL u can type Korean but cant read them since they come out as square box and other English games that i play keep typing Korean every time i press enter

English is country and locales however my current language for non-unicode programs is set to Korean just because a lot of programs from Korea will have massed up font.
I am only one in the house using win 8.1 with Korean typing since my bro doesnt type Korean. but i heard some other people have same issue like the link you gave me. seems like he or she fixed their problem... didnt work for me
and lastly like i said Korean language keyboard (typing) has Englsih in them already and i do not want to add other keyboard setting to it since it gets really annoying but would fix the problem i have but that is not the solution i am looking for.
I used win 85? and previous that verion forgot what it was to win 7 and recently got win 8.1
and none of them had this issue. they always priortized English typing first.

I have a new MacBook Pro 15" with an english (International) keyboard layout. I can't find any input source that matches my keyboard layout in System Preferences > Language & Text > Input sources. US layout is close, but which one exactly matches my keyboard?

You should use US, US Extended, or US International PC. They should all match your keyboard.
I am puzzled that you find the US layout to be just "close". What is not correct when you use it?

How to Transform using multiple input sources to one target

Hello - I'm trying to figure out a way in which I can map retrieved values from more than one table (defined via db adapter links) into a single target flat file (defined via file adapter). I can establish a 1-1 transformation process fine, but when I define a second transformation activity for another table I get an error when I try to run the BPEL process. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can try next? Thanks for helping out the rookie!
P.S. I'm running SOA Suite 10.1.3.1 with Jdeveloper 10.1.3.1 and connecting to an MS-SQL Server database

if i understand your question:
you are getting several variables with values from the db adapters.
you want to put these variables to the variable, which is the input for the file adapter (this procedure is called the assignment).
you want to do this assignment with transformations.
you have to ways to solve that:
use the assign, which is much less comfortable.
or
ask for a feature enhancement via metalink that a transformation support more than one input...

How do I add entries to PCManFM's right-click menu? [SOLVED]

Hello there,
Is there a way to customize PCManFM right-click menu? I'd like to add custom entries, for instance:
right click a folder and choose "Start slideshow" to get the following command executed: "qiv -smt <selected_folder>"
Can this be done? How?
This could be a system-wide setting or a user setting, I don't really care.

Well , I'm not sure what's the problem here . I only see this when I attach a media player(e.g mplayer) to different file formats . PcManFM seems to insist on creating a .desktop file for each association but I don't see duplicate entries in the menu .

Asian Input Sources Disappear

My OS X Maverick crashed all of the sudden. After it reboots, I noticed all of my Asian input sources (Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese) disappeared. I tried to use System Preferences | Keyboard | Input Source dialog to add the input sources back but I have no luck to find any of them. They just DISAPPEARED!!!
If I log in via a Guest Account, I can see them in the same dialog. I am sure there must be some plist files corrupted or something but I have no luck to figure out which file(s) I should delete and restart the machine.
Any help would be appreciated.

sudo languagesetup and make sure it is set to English
Reboot the machine

Can't login due to input source issue

Hi!
I'm using my MBP (Yosemite) with a hungarian input source, however, my login password was in english.
Yesterday, I've changed it. Now, it contains hungarian characters.
I was able to use that password for logging in as long as the Mac just went to sleep.
This morning, however, I rebooted my MBP and now I'm unable to login.
It seems like the default input source is english, while in my profile, it is hungarian.
I've never had that problem before. And I'd really need my mac back, so that I could work.
Does anyone have any solution in mind?

At the login screen, you can select one of the available layouts by choosing from the flag menu in the upper right corner, or cycle through them by pressing the key combination command-space or command-option-space. See this support article.

How do I add more channels to my input source?

I'm trying to record my son's band on a iBook in the rehearsal studio, and would like to also do this type of recording on my iMac here at home, so how do I add more channels to my input source for simultaneous multi-track recording. Right now I am only getting 2 mono and 1 stereo channels.
Ultimately I would like to add the maximum amount (probably 8 tracks), and still be able to record simultaneously with at least one guitar, one bass, one vocal mike, and the drums on one mike...
According to Hangtimes/Garage Door website, this is a possibility, but first I must create more channels.

Hi, I'm the developer of IPA Palette. Stumbled on this question only a moment ago and thought I'd address it for the record. I don't now recall whether installing Lion clobbered my existing IPA Palette installation or not. In any case, I can with high confidence state that IPA Palette has been tested on Lion and works well, so re-installing would be the recommended way to try to get it back in play.

I would guess that the use of h1-h6 tags helps search engines to understand the structure of a page as the tags imply a certain structure.
This can be compared to more generic tags like <div> that could represent any kind of content - and may be what iWeb uses (you'll have to check yourself).
I would generally recommend that you use some kind of up to date blog/site building tool, perhaps Wordpress or Squarespace (I haven't used either one myself) that support current web technologies - this should reduce your SEO issues and make it easier to properly support mobile/tablet users.
