I got this sorted but now I find that once I have set up the connection to the database and want to eithger delete or update records there is no 'url parameter' button to do so. With respect, you actually cannot store folders on the left side of the Dock - only on the right side. I wonder if you're talking about Launchpad, which looks like a silver rocket and shows you your installed applications? It's not actually a shortcut to the Applications folder, though. You can certainly drag Launchpad into the left side of the Dock from the Applications folder.

I've already copied and pasted the right channel (A2) onto the left channel (A1) but that just doubled the volume on the right channel.
For instance, when I listen to my audio with headphones it only comes thru the right one. How do I make it so that it comes thru both headphones?

Stereo is something else. It is a sound field where the individual elements are located through varying the amount of electrical energy for each element delivered to each channel.
What you have is a mono source that should be panned to center. This will equally divide the signal so it will be delivered out both the L & R channels.
Load the original clip to the VIEWER and set the PAN to 0 (zero). Delete any duplicates. They are unnecessary.

How can I get bookmark drop down to extend folder list to the left instead of the right?

Recently cleaned up my bookmarks. Previously when I clicked on the bookmark file bar icon (between history and tools buttons at the top of the screen) the bookmark drop down would appear with my folders and links (as expected) and when I moused over a folder it would open a drop down list on the left of the main bookmark drop down but now it is opening on the right. How can I get it back to opening on the right?
This is not about having a bookmark pane always open on the left side of the window. Rather it is about how to control how the drop down menus act. (OSX 10.9.3 and Firefox 30.0)

So I think I understand what your suggesting but I have a folder inside a folder that has long names and it opens back to the left (after the initially opening to the right) and appears to overlay the screen space needed to display the titles.
If your right (no pun intended) then the programming that supports the drop down menu display would need to scan through all the enclosed folders looking for the potentially longest title to determine which way to open the list?
I know that this is a minor issue but it does seem that something may have changed here. It would be nice if there was away to control this part of the drop down operation. Thanks!

Make a whote solid. Animate its opacity from 0 to 100 and back again.
You'll use couple-three layers -- no automatic transitions in AE. That's what Premiere's for.

Audio Input on the Left Channel is fine, Right Channel, Not So Much...

Okay, so I'm attempting to record some audio into my eMac using it's 3.5mm Line Input Jack, but Sound Studio is telling me that all of the audio is coming out of the left channel.
I checked balance, it's a new cable that works fine otherwise, the device I'm recording from sounds fine on headphones.
Any suggestions?

Hmm. I think someone more technically-inclined with audio could help you out here. I tried recording audio on my eMac with QuickTime Player (I'm not sure if you need QuickTime Pro to do this, otherwise I would suggest you try the same thing). I have a similar experience as you. The QuickTime A/V window (control-K) informs me that the audio balance is shifted completely to the right channel (rather than left, as you observe in Sound Studio). And there is no way to adjust this, it is also "greyed out". This QuickTime recording is through the built-in microphone on my eMac. Might there exist (pricier) external microphones that are specifically capable of stereo recording? Or perhaps our eMacs aren't capable of stereo recording, at least without hardware modifications. I don't know. Clearly, I'm ignorant about this. Perhaps there is a Discussion going on somewhere else around here that is more Audio-specific?

It depends on the type of option. If each option has a separate price, then I don't know of a way to add more than 10 options since those options with the prices are encoded into the button id. (Well, you could encode the information yourself with PayPal's API, but that is way more involved than I've been willing to tackle.) If you have more than 10 options such as color, scent, etc that don't affect the price, then you can edit the code you have added to your website to add additional items in the list.
