How do I alternate an output value between 2 settings at a prescribed rate?

I would like to simplify a sine wave into simply a saw tooth with a single point at the top and bottom of the wave. My external system cannot keep up with the rate I need for the sine wave so it is useless feeding it all that extra data. I basically want to set the value at say 50 wait a second then change it to 0 then wait a second then change it to 50... etc.
I don't know how to wire more than one thing to a channel. I assume I need a loop of some sort.

One of those examples "Function Generator"? Gives you a triangle wave output.

and total sum of "USD Amount" in transaction code FBL3 (If click to sum by currency)
are different for 17.79 USD.
I tried to get a logic of this 2 transaction code and found detail as below:
FS10 : Get data from table GLT0 and for group currency report. Program select data
from field KSLVT and KSLXX to display in report.
FBL3 : Get all data until selected period in table BSAS and sum total amount from field BSAS-DMBE2
(Amount of USD Currency)
Actually, This 2 report should to have the same account balance.
So, My question is
1. When the table (GLT0) update?
2. Can have a problem with the data in GLT0 (field KSLVT and KSLXX t)
and sum of amount USD curency BSAS-DMBE2 are differenct?
If can have, how is occur?

Did you find any relationship between the data (sql data and Essbase)?
While you are loading fresh data, there is no discrepancy.
You find discrepancy at the time of incremental loading.
It might be possible in incremental loading data can be added to already existing value in dimension.
In that case you will find your Essbase data is 2times or 3 times more than base data (sql).
Then check there might be some setting.

How can I pass a var value between MovieClips?

New week, new question.
I haven't been able to find the answer to this: I'm working with a var defined in the main timeline var score:int; , wich I use in 10 different movie clips using var score = MovieClip(this.root).score;
Everything works perfect on the first MovieClip, but when the next one plays score does not keep the value assigned in the previous MovieClip therefore the score is lost.
The clips are questions and they are place on the main time line in different frames and main time line actions layer which only contains this:

I had defined the score var in the time line but to add the score from each question (MovieClips) I have to call it to the each MovieClip and I assume that whe I call the score var in the second MovieClip will keep the score from the first, but is not the case:

How can I use the output value from SIMPLE PID to write something to the serial port?

I am working on my Senior Design Project that requires the use of incoming compressed air, propotional valves, continuous servo motors, and a serial servo motor microcontroller. I have figured out how to send byte sequences to the microcontroller through LabVIEW using the VISA serial write function. The motors are attached to the valves to control the flow rate. I have created my own simple feedback system using a bunch of case structures but I realized that I am basically trying to recreate the wheel (I basically was writing my own PID VI). I have an older version of LabVIEW (7.0 Express) and theres no way to upgrade or buy the PID toolkit, so I am stuck using the Simple PID VI. Also, the only way the motor works is sending an array of bytes to tell it to turn on/off, direction, and speed. Is there any way I can use the Simple PID VI in conjunction with the VISA SERIAL write function, or is there any other way I can communicate with the serial port using this pid vi? Any information would be appreciated.

From you first post you know what values your motor driver is expecting. You know which values the PID.vi is providing. Now all you need is a formula to reshape the values from PID to the motor. It's up to you to make such a formula. Unless you provide any details we cannot give more precise answers...

How to sum row level multiplication values between two measure?

Hi All ,
In the CUBE i want to create a calculation , which in SQL Server is = sum(calldur*callind). The calldur is a measure which has numeric values. Callind has values of 1 and 0 (factless fact ). please see the below datasets.
calldur callind sum(caldur*callind)
54 1 54
0 0 0
25 1 25
58 0 0
31 1 31
300 0 0
297 0 0
but what the cube is doing is (call dur is selected as sum measure) and i selected (callind as max value)
adding all the calldur which is 765*1, where as the value should be sum of sum(calldur*callind) which is 110.please need help.

The simplest way to do this is to do the multiplication in the query that you are using as the source for your measure group or to add a calculated column in your DSV.
Another solution would be to use a measure expression in the cube, but this has much worse performance as it effectively forces the storage engine to alway scan at the lowest level.

How to check if the internal method in another method is initial or not.

Just declare the internal table as an attribute in the class - that way every method in this class has access to it.
Since any method has access to all class attributes you can easily check if the internal table is initial or not.
I am not aware of any standard functionality if a method has already been executed or not, one way would be to declare a class attribute for each method and set it once the method has been executed. That way every method in that class would know which method has already been executed or not.

Create a function group.
Define global data (there is a similiar menu point to jump to the top include).
Create one or two function modules, with which you can read and write the global data.
In your BADI methods you can access the global data with help of your function modules. It will stay in memory through the whole transaction.

Please follow below steps:
1. To achieve this u need to create two context nodes in the component controller.
2. Say one is EMPLOYEE_DATA and other is SELECTED_DATA.
3. Set the Cardinality of EMPLOYEE_DATA to 0..n and SELECTED_DATA to 1..1.
4. Add same attributes to both nodes. (probably all those fields that are required in table and/or in edit view.
5. Map both these nodes to OVERVIEW view.
6. Map only SELECTED_DATA node to EDIT view.
7. Create table in OVERVIEW view based on EMPLOYEE_DATA node.
8. Create edit form in EDIT view based on SELECTED_DATA node.
9. While navigating from OVERVIEW view to EDIT view, read the selected element of EMPLOYEE_DATA node and copy it to an element of SELECTED_DATA node. This should be written in PROCESS_EVENT method of component controller inherited from FPM component.
10. Now u got the selected data in SELECTED_DATA node which will be displayed in EDIT view.

If you dont want to pass values through URL, then you must have to use component Usage with interface node.
Or you can try like this,
by appending field value to url,
Data w_url type string,
w_value type string.
get the url of calling aplication
call method cl_Wd_utilities->construct_wd_url
exporting application name = name of second application( to which u want to pass parameter )
importing out_absolute_url = w_url.
***Make the value type compatible that has to passed with url.

I'm doing a jsp, bc4j application (JDeveloper 9.0.3), and I need to share some values between different jsp pages. To do this,
I have used the tag <jsp:usebean.....></jsp:usebean> in this way:
on pageone.jsp

on pagetwo.jsp
<jsp:useBean id="param" scope="session" class="MyPackage.Parameters" ></jsp:useBean>
and so on, in order to refer to the same instance of the class "Parameters".
After deploying, the application works well only if the client is the same pc where the AS resides, otherwise the variables of "Parameters" are null.

Dear all,
I use VC 7.0 composer to create dashboards. That include one overview dashboard (model) to show seven KPI in one screen and I also have seven detailed dashboards (models) to show the detail of each KPI. Each dashboard has their own iView . User will only need to pick a plant once at the overview dashboard and I expect the plant value will be passed to other seven detailed dashboards.
Since those dashboards are saved in different models, I just wonder is it possible I can pass the value from the overview dashboard model to the separated detailed dashboard models? The reason I donu2019t put all dashboards in one model because I need to have different reports assigned on the left of the screen for each dashboard in portal. If I need to accomplish this in portal, I believe I need separate iView(model) for each dashboard. Please correct me if I am wrong since I am new to portal development. Thanks.

I think it is possible to pass values between models.
Just creat on "Write-RFC" and one "Read-RFC"
The RFC has just the function to write/read a value into an customer table...
^^ We have tried this scenario and it works perfect.

I am using the Adobe Spry framework to develop an webpage
with 3 tabs. I want to be able to pass a value between tabs.
More specifically...
In Tab1, the user will click on a link that declares a
variable called "groupID" with a value of "999"
Tab 2 Should then open up and have "groupID" available for
use. It will be used as a hidden form field.

I think I get what your talking about.
Thing to remember is that all the data is loaded on the same
page still so you can just pass it over like you would using JS.
I did a little example let me know if this is what you are
looking for.
You will see that I added a function at the bottom that will
tell spry what panal to open as well as pass your "groupID" the
function is call on the onclick even.
