How Do I Build This in the Portal?

I am a new to SAP Enterprise Portal and have some little Java development experience. I have built a Java system using Sun One Studio and Tomcat that includes the following:
1. A JSP that presents a table of customers to a sales rep, allowing them to search on customer name, city, state and/or zip code.
2. A Java module to act as controller, receiving the JSP as input, passing the selection parms to the XML module, receiving an ArrayList of customer objects in return and then re-displaying the JSP.
3. A Java XML module that uses the SAX classes to read through an XML file, selecting customers based on the specified criteria.
4. A helper class that creates customer objects passed in the ArrayList.
I have searched through SDN and have read a lot of material, and am now asking for some advice. How should this be designed and programmed so that it will execute within SAP Enterprise Portal 6.0? Is NetWeaver Developer Studio the proper tool to use?
I can provide more information, if necessary.

I've already down-loaded NWDS and have built two applications - one launches iNotes (Notes WebMail) and the other applies an XSLT against an XML file (an adaptation of one of the entries in SDN).
But with regard to the design - what approach should I use? Based on what I described above (experience with JSP and servlets) creating an Abstract Portal Component doesn't seem right, and neither does creating a Dynpro app.
Anybody else have any ideas? Is there any rough equivalent to the JSP/servlet design?

How To use APEX logout inside the Portal

I am not using APEX at the moment, but I would like to use it. At the moment the only thing I want out of APEX is to give me the ability to log out (users) completely from the portal ( all sessions killed, cleared cookies etc, such that user after logging out of portal even if he tries to copy and paste URL ( of the portal page) can not log back in to the portal (of course on the same browser), rather gets redirected to SSO login page, where once again he is challenged for his credentials.
Based on the little knowledge that I have about APEX. Can I achieve this in the portal. I have developed current portal using Portal Builder (IDE), using OID(LDAP) method of accomplishing SSO. I understand APEX is also another
web based IDE, uses it's own way of implementing SSO. Will there be any difference between portal users and APEX users?
My questions are:
1. Do I have to rewrite the portal page for users, if I use APEX?
2. If I leave my portal page the way it is, How can I accomplish users logging out?
3. Does the login also have to be done by APEX, if I choose to do logout by APEX?
4. How can I integrate APEX with existing portal page? I am not writing any APEX web applications. Just wanna use it for logging out.

The documentation says that
The Portal Favorites iView contains a freely definable list of links for direct access to items that you use regularly. This can include the following:
●     Portal pages and iViews that run as full-page applications
●     Documents, folders, and other items in KM repositories
●     External items, such as Internet pages
So we can't do it for Roles.

How to add Navigation Level to the Portal?

Hi All,
How to add Navigation Level to the Portal?
for example:
1st Level is the Role
2nd Level is Worksets/Folders
I want that the 3rd Level will contain more Worksets/Folders and will be under the 2nd level and not in the "Detailed Navigation".
I tried to change the "Number of display levels" in the framework page but it didn't help.

in fact, almost one year ago we did something similar on a project basis, but as already stated here, this was done by modification. What we did was providing a dropdown box within the masthead, containing the first level, and the second and third level now have been displayed where normally the first and second level are. That was a ten days solutions, some very fine granulated work. But nice
Anyhow, nowadays this can be more easy using the LightFrameworkPage (if that's OK for your purpose) and the Navigation Tag Library, see http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/42/f35146a7203255e10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm for details.

Hard to say what is happening without examining the file.
If you like click on my blue name and email me both the .pages file and the the .pdf you have made from it.

It seems to happen with songs that were purchased before synchronizing the new iPhone
I will tell you how I fixed it.
Note: I have iTunes in spanish so I will try to translate and figure out the commands that appear on ITunes in english. I will put my translations into brackets. English is not my native language. I will do my best.
The workaround is:
1.- Dragg no working songs from iTunes to a folder on the hard disk. (Only for backup purposes)
2.- Deleted those songs from iTunes library.
3.- On the left panel in ITunes click on "Purchased" under the STORE option. All your purchased songs will appear on the right panel
4.- At the bottom and right there is the option : "Download Previous Purchases". Click there.
5.- Click on the option "Are not in my Library" (top right)
6.- The songs you deleted from iTunes will appear.
7.- Downloaded them again. (You have the option to download at the bottom right)
8.- Syncronize your iPhone and that's all.

Firefox also makes regular backups of your bookmarks in a folder named bookmarkbackups in your personal settings folder. You can restore the backup to your new Firefox, but unlike importing the HTML-format file, it is a complete drop-in replacement, so if you have saved new bookmarks you do not want to lose, the export/import method may work better for you.
By default, Windows hides your personal settings folder so the easiest way to access it is from inside Firefox. You can use either:
* "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Troubleshooting Information
* (menu bar) Help > Troubleshooting Information
* type or paste about:support in the address bar and press Enter
In the first table on the page, click the "Show Folder" button. This will launch a window showing your Firefox settings files.
You might want to back up this whole folder if you have other data you want to preserve from your XP computer.
Either way, you should find the bookmarkbackups folder here and when you click into it, find maybe 10 files with dates in their names.

Forgotten RESTRICTIONS Passcode
- Restore from a backup that was make before you added the Restrictions passcode. If you restore from a backup made with the Restrictions passcode the Restrictions passcode is also restored.

The aspect ratio should be set to 200x280, or equivalently 5x7.
I don't think it is possible to do the cropping automatically in Lightroom, you'd have to do this image by image to crop the faces correctly.
