How do i center a page in Dreamweaver?

i have made my page in photoshop then i put it in a Layout
cell in dreamweacer thne when i change picture Code it off centers
my page and i cant get it to go back. How do i center my page?

How do i center a page?

Hello!
How do i center a page in Pages? Its kind of disturbing having it stuck to one side...

When I open a template in Pages 09, it comes up with an exact fit to the window, that's as centered as it can be. I can drag the window to any part of the screen I wish, including the center. I know that if I expand the window without zooming to fit, the page will be offset, but I don't see that as a problem, as I can control whether I extend the window or not and whether I zoom-to-fit or not. If I don't want to see the windows of other active apps, I can select Pages > Hide Others. If my desktop is cluttered with files, I can clean it up.
Sorry I can't be more sympathetic.

I installed the database, server behaviors. I can create a PHP page and add database connections for that type but not Asp?

How do I center my layout in dreamweaver?

I have been using lynda.com to help guide me through correct page layout for dreamweaver. For the most part I have found this to be very successful. I do have an issue I need help with though. I am working on a new site that needs the layout in the center of the page and not to the left. I have attached what I have done so far (just a body tag and a wrapper tag). I tried using text align in the body and wrapper tags and I seem unable to center the wrapper tag in order to put the layout in the center of the page. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?

i am making a menu at the index page and i have the
dimensions at 500X600 because it is supposed to bassically take up
the whole page(somewhat), and i will add the buttons to it later
and i can't seem to get it centered, i have tryed the "allign"
settings but no luck; can someone help me?

How do I center a page horizontally

1300 wide. I'd like the entire background to be seen regardless of
the browser. My layers are positioned in the center of this image
(more or less). Is there a way to make sure that the background is
centered and not just the layers? The only place this is really an

How do I create a page in dreamweaver that comes up after the user logs in from the log in page that will allow the user to:
Add, change and delete in 2 tables that are in my MYSQL database that is a one to many relationship
One thing that is confusing is how the foreign key that links to the one side of the relationship is created in the many side without the user inputting the foreign key each time adding information to the many side table.
I am creating this in Dreamweaver using a MYSQL database and PHP.

Probably not. When updating/inserting/deleting from 2 tables you perform each seperately. Table updates may join two or more tables to resolve the correct row(s) but you still only update one table at a time. Procedurally you would create a transaction, update the first table, update the second table and then commit the transaction.
EDIT: Well I take back my last comment. I see that MySQL does seem to support multiple table updates. I don't use MySQL so I can't really help you on that but the MySQL manual gives pretty clear syntax.

HTTP name of pages in dreamweaver

Hi,
I decided to build the majority of my website in flash. I.e. build different components (such as a calender) in flash and then I planned to import each component into dreamweaver on a seperate page and publish. The only trouble with this is that I have tried to link pages together using code in flash that goes to a specific web page. How do I name my webpages in dreamweaver so that it will go to that page.
E.g. I have created a link in a flash document to www.mywebsite.com/about - how do I name this page in dreamweaver so that it links to this page?

Center Page in Dreamweaver with ApDivs

Hello everyone,
I'm no web designer, but I have a design background. I had to teach myself dreamweaver, so my skills are extremely limited and I've constructed my website using ApDivs. I originally used slices, but that was awful as it just made image chunks all over the place. This was the cleanest, easiest method I could figure out for myself, so forgive me if it seems amateurish.

What I want to know is, how can I get my pages to center automatically in the window? I know there is a way to do this by dropping everything into a DIv and putting some code in, but I don't think that method works when you've constructed your website using ApDivs. I only have like 10 pages if that, and yes I used swap image and set text of container ALL OVER the place. Forgive me, it functions. Is there some way I can center this site? Also, if it requires putting in code pleas tell me EXACTLY where in the code to paste it. My coding is super limited.
Bonus Question:
Do you know how to imbed a typeface into the website so that viewers of my website will be able to read it in the typeface I have chosen? The set text of container function has the typeface as Goudy, but I know not a lot of people will have Goudy on their computers so it will come up as something esle. I tried to get around this elsewhere by inserting the type as images because, God bless me, I couldn't figure out how to kern the type or even format it in Dreamweaver. The rest of the site is in Goudy, and it's my typical font for all my branding so I will not change it. Thank you!

Part #1 APdiv are absolutely positioned relative to the nearest positioned parent division. if none is defined in your CSS, APDivs will align relative to the top left corner of browser windows. APDivs as a primary layout method seldom works well. Here is why:

Dreamweaver and websites do not easily match up to Avery templates. If you are trying to develop a program for customers/etc to print labels, you should look for a script to generate a PDF file to ensure the accuracy of the printing.
If you are trying to use Dreamweaver as a substitute to print your own labels, I would highly recommend using Microsoft Word, or Adobe InDesign for a better solution.
