How do i change a 2 dropdown dynamically

I have multiple dropdowns in my sheet I want to select value 1 from dropdown 1 and get a different set of values from dropdown 2 then when I select value 2 from dropdown 1
example ( don't mind the values example)
dropdown 1
dropdown 2.1 (human)
dropdown 2.2 (animal)
human
friend
cat
animal
enemy
dog
So is there a way to do this?

There's no way to dynamically control the format of a "Pop-Up Menu", as it is called in Numbers.
A pretty good workaround is to create lookup tables and to use a Slider format or a Stepper format to point to the lookup table based on conditions you define regarding other cell's contents. Let the Slider or Stepper reside adjacent to the cell in which the result is displayed and it's nearly the same effect.

How can i change column header value dynamically in IR report

HI,
I have created report with the help of collections. Report query has been changing dynamically but i got problem with report header names and headers names has not been changing dynamically it is always showing like c001,c002....etc so, i have created global item(G_ITEM) in shared components--->Applications items after that
I have created process(before headers) and assigning some value to G_ITEM and used &G_ITEM to column headres in IR Report but here &G_ITEM is not showing any value.
How can i achieve dynamic headers names by using *&G_ITEM(global items)* Please guide me to achieve this.

Please guide me how to transport or assign a request for the changes made in BRF selecion view.
I have assigned and added BKPF-XREF1_HD field for FB03 transaction. Its working fine as per user requirement.
I am facing probelm to assing a transport request for that. I didn't find any transport menu in se36.
So please provide me how to assign a TR which need to import into Production client.
If I have to assign or create a program (standard), then please provide me the program name.

When retriving references to Control that are contained in a cluster. The default name that
appear in the Event Structure is: : Mouse down.
I have found a workaround to correct the problem. But I would apreciate a more convinient way to do this.
This is the workaround I found to change the names in the Event Structure
I cast the References using a Reference constant and I change the label of
that constant.

Is there any way to change the name of a dynamic event without doing the
cast trick?

Did you try to call this method in response to the selection in the combobox?
This won't refresh all widgets already created however. You probably have to re-create them all.
There may be case-by-case way to refresh them, for example Locale-dependent layout may be taken into account dynamically. Try and tell us.

Probably by changing the data type that lvdaq.dll expects to write to is causing the crash. I can't test this since I have only 6.1 installed now. In any case, since the daq card is only 16 bits, the single precision is probably adequate for AI Buffer Read. If you do need the greater precision later on, you should be able to change representation in any one of the upper level VIs.

Is it possible to change a item type dynamically?
For example.
I've got a page with 2 items. The first is a select list and the second is a date picker. The select list contains two values, 1 and 2.
If value 1 is selected the second item needs to remain a date picker. If value 2 is selected the second item needs to become a Text Field (disabled saves state).
Anyone got an idea?

It's not possible to change the item type dynamically as you describe it below. However, to achieve a similar effect you could do the following:
1) Make the Select List a Select List With Submit.
2) Have a Date Picker AND a Text Field on the page.
3) Make the display of the Date Picker item conditional on the relevant value having been chosen from the Select List.
4) Make the display of the Text Item conditional on the other value having been chosen from the Select List.

How do I change the printer resolution on my OSX 10.6.2 laptop?
I have an ubuntu print server and it seems to only work at all using the gutenprint drivers. On my ubuntu client I had to change the print resolution from "auto" to 600x600 to make it work just fine.
The best I can do is make the Mac print pages squished down to 1/4 size. I don't see the same resolution option on the Mac.
Mac OSX 10.6.2
Ubuntu Server 9.10
Printer: Canon S900
Cups driver: Canon S800 Gutenprint v5.2.3
Cups version 1.4.2 on the mac
Cups version 1.3.9 on Ubuntu Server
Macbook Pro Mac OS X (10.6.2)

I can't speak for the printer directly, but most functions to change resolution are in the dropdown menu at the bottom of the print dialog. It has a gray bar running through it separating the basic functions from the advanced settings.
If you don't see that, but do see a blue button with a black triangle pointing down, click on that. Then you'll be able to set the advanced settings.
Once you set up the printer the way you like, save it as a preset. If you want that as a default, see this [MacOSXHint|http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20100125135830153].

Select any particular document you wish to fix. Press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window. In the Open With section select the desired Default Application from the dropdown menu. Click on the Change All button to extend the change to all similar documents.
You can only assign one default application to one type of document.

Right Click on the run button and choose Customize...
Now Click on the Commands tab and click the Rearrange Commands button.
Click the radio button next to Toolbar: and choose Debug from the dropdown next to it.
Select the Command with the Green Arrow and click the Delete Button.
Now click the Add button and select Execute under Categories:
Under Commands: scroll until you find the one you desire. In this case Second Execution Entry Point. You will have to repeat the add for other buttons.
Highlight the one you want and click OK.
Click Close and Close when you are finished.
