How can we change the name of dynamic events selector label in Event Structure
When retriving references to Control that are contained in a cluster. The default name that
appear in the Event Structure is: : Mouse down.
I have found a workaround to correct the problem. But I would apreciate a more convinient way to do this.
This is the workaround I found to change the names in the Event Structure
I cast the References using a Reference constant and I change the label of
that constant.

I am using the dynamic signal analyzer.vi but this vi has the output as single precision. How can I change this to DBL precision? If I change the representation from single to double in the AI buffer read.vi labview returns ilegal operation and crash. I have labview 5.1 on windows 95 and one AT-MIO16XE50 DAQ board.

Ricardo.Probably by changing the data type that lvdaq.dll expects to write to is causing the crash. I can't test this since I have only 6.1 installed now. In any case, since the daq card is only 16 bits, the single precision is probably adequate for AI Buffer Read. If you do need the greater precision later on, you should be able to change representation in any one of the upper level VIs.

You should take a look at the [[Downloads window]] and [[Options window - General panel]] Knowledge Base articles. They will give you all the details you need. Unless you are talking about the default action and not the actual download folder? If so, you should look at [[Options window - Applications panel]].

Technically, you can't.
An external hard drive is defined as a drive that is attached directly to a computer by USB or FireWire connection.
The TC does neither of these things. It is a network drive that connects to the network via an Ethernet or wireless connection.

Yes. I'm not recommending that you do this, but if you have another wireless router that is providing a wireless network, you can configure the TC using AirPort Utility to "join a wireless network".
In effect, the TC becomes a wireless hard drive in this type of setup. The Ethernet ports are not enabled in this type of configuration, so you cannot connect via Ethernet for a faster wired connection. -

My father bought a Macbook Pro 15' retina 8Gb ram 256Gb SSD about 2 months ago.
He set it up, bought many apps and programs but eventually got bored of it and gave it to me.
He is not a Mac enthusiast and thought he should give it a try but he didn't stick to it.
I'm not a Mac enthusiast either, but a good notebook is an ok present so I took it.
I installed some programs and stuff, tried to learn how it works (I have no idea, I was always using windows), and I think I like it.
However, the MacBook has my father's name, my father is the admin, and all the apps programs etc the he and I bought and installed are in his account.
I have his password though. That's how I've been using it the whole time.
How can I change the MacBook to make it "my own"?
I have an apple ID cause I have an iPhone etc but I'm sure just changing that under the admin page won't be enough.
Will I lose the apps my father bought?
Will I have to reinstall all the programs that I installed while I was using the MacBook? For example will photoshop and capture nx be deleted as if I was formatting a pc and I will have to install them again?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
PS. MacBook is now running Mavericks OS X 10.9.4 and I want to upgrade.

This folder disappears when I check the box to store messages on the server. There were emails in it (the ones I placed there myself). I have now moved those emails to the sent sub-folder under the account under "Inbox". Even with the "store on server" option UNchecked, the emails were instantly duplicated to the server, so that they were present both locally and remotely. I then checked the "store on server box"; this made the mailbox for the account under "Sent" vanish.
To summarize: things appear to work normally now, except that I find it very inconvenient to have to look in two separate "Sent" folders to find emails I've written.

I need to publish two reports in a dashboard, the first report is a list of values and the second report is a chart. When I click in a value of the first report, the second report must change with the value selected from the first report.
I first created the first report, and I changed the column properties in the data format, I selected treat text as: "Custom Text Format", the Custom Text Format is:

How Can I change the second report in the same page or section where this the first report?

Edwin GuerreroI am not sure whether this would work but worth a try. Create a third report which would call the 2nd report using iframe and GO URL. Name the iframe of the narrative view. And use the java script to update the iframe using objWin = window.open(<ur go url>, “biee”,”height=480,width=240,scrollbars=yes,resizeable=yes”);. I had used a similar method to integrate biee with mapviewer.
