My MacBook address book and iCloud both show the format (888) 555-1212 but my iPhone shows 8885551212. This causes problems with my contact names matching up.

If you want to change your iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. How do I change the Serial Number in Logic Studio?

Hi All,
I used a friends copy of Logic Studio and the serial number to give Logic Studio a try, loved it, and bought it. However now I have my own serial number and would like to enter it into Logic. Logic, of course, has kept the first serial number and I can not work out how to change the serial number. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have looked for the /Library/Application Support/ProApps folder and it does not seem to be on the HD. I also searched for the file to be trashed and could not find it. Could it be called something else in Logic Studio 8?

Are you using your husband's Apple ID from his iPhone?
Do you have an iPhone associated with your Apple ID?
To associate Messages on an iPad with a phone number you need to have an iPhone that has the Phone number so it can be associated with the Apple ID being used on both devices (iPhone and iPad).

Apple doesn't give out phone numbers or wireless plans. Only the cell carriers do that. While A Cell Plan for an iPad has a number its just for Identification purposes by the carrier, and cannot be used for Messages.
Also it is not necessarry to have a cellular iPad with a cellular plan to have a number for messages. As I said, you need an iPhone to do this.

Due to a licence problem we applied for a refund and then re-purchased FB4.5 licences. Now I want to change to use the new license code but when I try to deactivate it says "Deactivation was not successful. Please try again. Error code #194:8".
Perhaps this is because my old license code has been invalidated by Adobe or something.
How can I implement the new license code?
(I suppose I can just leave the old code if there's no easy way to update it).

I tried to "order" Siri to change my husband's default number and whatever syntax I used for my request Siri responded with a web search on how to set favorites.
So I ended up deleting the work number from my husband's contact information and I used Siri to call him a couple of times. After 24 hours (random time frame) I added his work mobile back to his contact information, but not in the favorites.
SIri now dials his home number because it's the only one in the favorites.
I'll add it to the favorites in due course.

I am trying to change the page number format in a section of my document. I want 2 sections to have 2 different page number formats. How can I do this?

I have 2 sections in my Pages document. I am using Insert Auto Pages in footers to number my pages, but when I try to change the number format for one section it changes the format to the same as my change for the other section. I want auto page number in each section but want each section's page numbers to have different formats. I have managed to get the auto page numbering to begin separately in each section, but just can't get the formats to be different. There must be a way to do this. Anyone know how?

Hi, I have an unlocked iPhone 4S, I am connected to a network that is unable to effect a change to the Voicemail Number, i.e. the number the Voicemail button calls. How do you change this number, many have asked here and elsewhere on the internet but as yet no solution from Apple. How long is it going to take Apple to give out this information? I appreciate that Apple do not want iPhones hacked, and I do not want to hack my iPhone anyway, but I do own it and I would like to set it to work correctly and not call some other network's voicemail facility but instead call my network's voicemail facility. This is covered in the UK by the Sale of Goods Act and I am entitled to have a phone that does work the way it is intended to, would it help Apple if it I return it to the Apple Store once a week for a replacement until they finally give out the information?
