The best way is to copy the iTunes library from your Mac to the PC, so you will move everything, not only your songs. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1751 (You have to do the "Restoring your iTunes Library backup" step on the PC)

You can take a snapshot of the picture, which will put it on the clipboard, but I do not know how you will get it into Picassa without another program that can save in a graphics format. What OS are you using? Perhaps it offers a basic graphics program.

  • How can I copy a clip to another video track?

I've been fiddling around to find a solution to this, but to no avail...
I have a video track containing a couple of clips. Now I want to copy a clip and paste it onto another video track in the same sequence. This seems to be an impossible task...
    How can I do that?
    Thanks for enlightening me!

Right click on the clip in the timeline you want to copy.  Select "copy".  Then select in the timeline the video track you want to copy TO.  Place your CTI (current time indicator) in the timeline where you want your clip to get pasted.  Then Go to your PrPro menu in the header, select EDIT>PASTE.  Voila!
What may confuse you and make it seem impossible is that you can right click on a clip in the timeline and "copy".  But when you go to right click and "paste" no context menu opens up.  You can of course use the EDIT>COPY and EDIT>PASTE command as well.
And what works even more easily is you can just use your Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V commands.  You can also copy and paste into the same video track and then just click and drag the new copy to whatever video track you want.
All of the above will copy and paste your audio tracks as well.  If you want to just copy the video then use the Alt key when selecting and it will only select the video or audio depending on what you try to select.
The basics are all well covered in Adobe Help and use this for starters:

  • How do I empty all clips from imovie 9.0.4

I can't empty all the old clips from iMovie, please help.

    Buy iDVD.
Yes, there are other programs that will put a movie on a DVD.   I have tried most of the other substitutes.  None of them come anywhere near the ease-of-use and power of iDVD.  IDVD is specifically designed to work with iMovie.
With iDVD you can easily and quickly create DVDs with menus and graphics almost on the level of what Hollywood can do.
IDVD is easy to get. It is available on disk as part of iLife 11.
IDVD is a wonderful piece of software and well worth the low cost of $40.  (works with all Mac OS 10.5 and newer.)

    Greetings rwj53,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you would like to delete a selected clip in iMovie. To accomplish this, please use the instructions for “Move to Trash” listed in the Manage projects and events section of the attached link.
    Keyboard shortcuts - iMovie Help
    Move to Trash
Moves the selected clip, movie, trailer, or event to the Trash. If only part of a clip is selected, the entire clip is moved to the Trash.
    Command-Delete
    Cheers,
    Joe

  • How do I copy content from an entire row into a different table?

How do I copy content from an entire row of one table into a different table?  When I try to copy/paste the selected row into a row of the same size  and configuration in another table in the same document, the cells change width, the formatting and border thicknesses change, and the text gets squeezed.  When I was working with tables in Microsoft Word, there was no problem selecting text from a row in one table and placing it into a similar row and configuration in another table.

    Hi Christopher Morgan
And welcome to apple discussions. With regard to your main question ....
    Q: Can this be done?
A: It can but not easily (in that you may take a hit in quality). Apps like MpegStream Clip or DVDXDV may help:
    http://www.dvdxdv.com/NewFolderLookSite/Products/DVDxDV.products.htm
It converts it back to a QT file for use with iDvd (or iMovie).
Hope this helps but if not just come on back.

  • How can I copy a large number of contacts into a list in the address book?

I want to send a message to a large fraction of the people in my address book. How do I copy their addresses into a new list without doing it by hand?

Thanks for your answer. It works very poorly. I have tried a number of permutations, and each one fails in some way. If I try to copy ten names, it may just write the first few. if I highlight all the names in the source book, then the list name doesn't highlight when I move my cursor over it - only the other address books do that. I got the closest to success by exporting my entire source address book to a text file, removing the unwanted names by hand, and then importing only a few fields to a new address book - name and email address. When I highlight all the entries in this new address book and drag them to the target list, it copies MOST but not all of the entries. I have never seen drag and drop work so poorly. Any ideas?

  • How can I copy a list of email address into a group folder in contacts?

I have a list of all the email addresses of my tennis club members. How can I copy that into a group address. At the moment I have to find each one and drag it into the folder, but I am sure there must be an easier way. Does anyone know what that is?
    Loftyjs

I'm glad you figured it out. I was thrown off by literally interpreting the term "list" I guess
In truth, a "mailing list" of multiple recipients, when applied to a particular email message is nothing more than a "comma de-limited list" of the addresses. Some mail clients add < > on either end of the individual addresses
    [email protected],[email protected],[email protected],etc.
    <[email protected]>,<[email protected]>,<[email protected]>,etc.
in the old days, we would just keep a text file an add to the end as needed.
lists are commonly used as 'Mini-databases' in Adobe(Macromedia) Director, my everyday tool for years. A list of lists, then becomes a bigger database as does a list of a (list of lists), and so on
    Too much information, methinks

  • IPhoto..how do I copy a photo and drop it into another album?

IPhoto..How do I copy a photo in one album and paste it into another?

I have IPHOTO 9.5.1  I used to be able to drag and drop but it won't do that anymore.
then something is wrong - drag and drop between albums should work. Itb is working for me without a problem. While viewing an album, select the photos inside that you want to include anither album and drag them to that album in the sidebar of the Source List like this:
Is that, how you have tried it?
If this does not work, repair your iPhoto library.

How do I copy and paste a resume from my downloads into/onto a job application on a potential employer's website?

Not knowing the format/design of the employer's website, it's difficult to know.
Why not send your resume via regular mail or email. Just fill out the application the way the employer wants you to.

  • How can I copy a very large iMovie file (10.08 GB) onto a disc?

I have an imovie project of my daughters wedding and I would like to put it on a disc for her, however, it is so big ( 10.08GB) that I can't find a DVD disc big enough. I bought a 16GB USB drive thinking I could copy it to that but my iMac says that it is too big to copy. Can anyone help please?
Also is it possible to save an imove file as a different type of file? if so, how do i do it?

If you want your daughter to be able to play the movie in a DVD player, you need DVD authoring software. Get a copy of iDVD (discontinued but you can still find copies of the old iLife09 or iLife11 package that include iDVD) or Roxio Toast.
Export your iMovie project to a QuickTime movie file, then import the resulting QT movie into iDVD or Toast and create your DVD.  They will encode & compress your movie to fit on a DVD and be playable in a DVD player.
Note: you can fit up to about 2 hours of video on a single-layer DVD disk and up to about 4 hours on a dual-layer DVD disk.  The iMovie project file size is not the correct measure here, the length in time of the video is.

  • How do you edit movie clips in iMovie 11 on MacBook Pro?

I am trying to edit an iMovie project on my husband's MacBook Pro, since I can't get my iMac to work (long frustrating day here!).  I don't see the "edit" tool (looks like a pencil) that my iMac has, and am having trouble figuring out how to select and delete specific clips in the movie.
Thank you so very much, in advance!
