I want to create a Calendar in Elements 12. I found the Calendar in the Graphics but I cannot get the pictures in it. Where can I find a guide or a tutorial for this?

The simplest way to create a calender in phtooshop elements is to do from the creation panel.
steps:
open the images you want to be placed in your calender.
launch photo calender from create> photo calender.
choose a suitable layout and a theme. make sure that the "autofill with selected images" option is checked.
Edit as you desire.

Long story short, this is done with the supported application on your computer used for syncing contacts and calendar events.
The same principle applies to PC users. You have to sync within iTunes from a supported calendar application on your PC.

Try Holding down the shift key while to start the organizer - that should bring up the Catalog Manager.
Click on the New button (top right)
Give it a name and click ok
If it still crashes, you may need to re-install the software.

If you wish to share an entire calendar with others (not just send them individual events) then you will need a host. A host is a server which sits on the internet and holds the calendar for you.

I want to create a new iCalendar for a friend. I have done File --> New Calendar and File --> New Calendar Group but a blank calendar does not appear. My calendar remains on the screen. I click on my Home and Work and then my friend's calendar but my calendar, not a new one, remains on the screen. In other words, I want the other calendar to be on my computer but I want to be able to bring it up sparaately from my calendar. How do I get a new calendar to come up?
Also, my friend has a MacBook Pro and I will want to transfer the calendar to her when it is made. How do I do this?

In iCal, you select on the left sidebar which calendars you want to be visible. You create a new calendar the way yoou describe it (File>New Calendar) and then in the left sidebar you make sure that this new calendar is the only one that has the checkbox checked. Then this calendar is the only one visible.
When you want to transfer this calendar to your friend, choose File> export calendar. This will create an .ics file which you can send to your friend by email, dropbox etc. Your frien then just dobbelclick on the .ics file, and the calendar will be saved in iCal.

I used to use Now Up-to-Date (NUD), but it's passé now, and I've switched to iCal. But with NUD you could have as many calendars as you wanted. A "calendar" was just a document, so you could open whichever one you wanted at any given time and even designate one as the "master" calendar to be opened whenever you launched NUD. Then double-clicking another calendar would open that one. Simple and straightforward....
But how do I do this in iCal? It seems to force you to use only one calendar! If this limitation is real, this is incredibly short-sighted on Apple's part.
I realize iCal has categories, but I need completely separate calendars, so my assistant can work with his calendar independently of mine. But he needs to be able to view and edit mine, as well. With NUD, we had the two calendar documents in the dock, so with one click, he could switch between the two. But iCal seems to work differently.
Categories aren't adequate, because I don't want a bunch of extra categories in my category list that only pertain to his activities. Also, using categories, he'd constantly have to switch off his 3 or 4 categories and switch on my 10 categories (and vice-versa), just to go back and forth between viewing our respective tasks and appointments. Multiply that by 20 or 30 times a day, and that's way too cumbersome.
So how do we get around this in iCal?? Please tell me there's a way to do this!

Selecting New Calendar from the File menu creates a new calendar. Those aren't categories, they are calendars.
What they are not is shareable and editable by others. What you are looking for will ship in several months with Mac OS X 10.5: iCal, Teams and iCal Server will provide the multi-user calendaring functionality you are looking for.
You can publish one or more of your iCal 2 calendars are read-only objects—and, so can your assistant—but they are not editable.

As of this time Hotmail currently does not support Activesync so this option is currently not available. Hotmail is POP3 while Gmail is IMAP which allows the phone to synchronize off the server. As a workaround you can have gmail pull your hotmail into it, or you can have hotmail forward everything to your gmail account. The advantage to forwarding is it's faster, as you can't set the schedule for how often gmail checks your hotmail account. But as far as the calendar goes there is no way to get your hotmail calendar to sync unfortunately.

If I copy-paste an example from the doc, the last line becomes :

The result is:

The position line: 1, column: 95 is the opening quote of the last line, just before FREQ=

I’ve created 4 measures (New Calls, 1st Response, 1st Resolution & Customer Closed) in the BMM layer by creating logical columns (with Aggregation-rule = Count) and mapping them against the Physical table using a Case statement:
i.e. CASE WHEN FACT_SUPPORT_CALLS.CALL_ENTRY_DATE_ID <> '-1' THEN 1 END
Next I need to provide a Calendar hierarchy, so that the user can start at i.e. year level and drill-down to day-level as shown in the example.
In the Physical Layer I’ve created 4 aliases for DIM_CALENDAR
DIM_CALENDAR_CALL_ENTRY
DIM_CALENDAR_FIRST_RESPONSE
DIM_CALENDAR_FIRST_RESOLUTION
DIM_CALENDAR_CUSTOMER_CLOSED
and I created joins between each relevant DATE_ID and DIM_CALENDAR (I.E. DIM_CALENDAR_CALL_ENTRY.ID_CALENDER = FACT_SUPPORT_CALLS.CALL_ENTRY_DATE_ID)
But how do I create 1 Calendar hierachy which combines/joins these four calendar dimensions?
What is the best way to achieve this?

I would like to confirm one thing. We currently have the same issue where we have more than one date in a set of data. Currently we have 8 time dimensions set up for the various dates in the data. Its very confusing though.
Any way of only having one time dimensions, but still being able to get the different dates?
