How do I create a pdf portfolio from multiple .msg email files including all attachments in a single step process?

I have tried creating the portfolio from Outlook directly, but only the first email is viewable in the portfolio including a hyperlink to the attachment (but the attachment is missing otherwise). This seems to be a setting issue, but I have had no luck with finding any setting options to change this.
I have also tried to create a portfolio from my desktop but when opening the portfolio, nothing shows up as if it didn't take the .msg files.
The obvious option of creating a pdf from each individual email and combining it with the pdf attachment would take forever and is unrealistic as the emails are in thousands.
Thanks for your time and help on this issue!

Hey Bob%20Sacks,
Could you please specify what version of Acrobat are you using.
You can go to Preferences under Adobe PDF option in the menu bar and choose 'Include all attachments' option under Attachments label.
Then, select the desired messages in Outlook and create a PDF portfolio by right-clicking and choosing Convert to Adobe PDF option from the context menu.
Now, open the portfolio and it will appear as shown in the screenshot below:
You can view all your files by clicking on the navigation arrows on the left-hand side.

  • How do I create a pdf document from my scanner?

    How do I create a pdf document from my scanner?

    If you are using Acrobat , then follow the below mentioned steps:-
    Scan a paper document to PDF using Autodetect Color Mode (Windows)
    1. Choose File > Create > PDF from Scanner > Autodetect Color Mode.
    2. If prompted to scan more pages, select Scan More Pages, Scan Reverse Sides, or Scan Is Complete, and click OK.
    Scan a paper document to PDF using a preset (Windows)
    1. Choose File > Create > PDF from Scanner > [document preset].
    2. If prompted to scan more pages, select Scan More Pages, Scan Reverse Sides, or Scan Is Complete, and click OK.
    Scan a paper document to PDF without presets
    1. In Acrobat, do one of the following:
    (Windows) Choose File > Create > PDF from Scanner > Custom Scan.
    (Mac OS) Choose File > Create > PDF from Scanner.
    2. Select scanning options in the Scan dialog box, as needed, and then click Scan.
    If you specify that you want to use the native scanner user interface instead of the Acrobat user interface, other windows or dialog
    boxes appear. Consult the scanner documentation information on available options. In Mac OS, the scanner user interface is always shown.
    3. If prompted to scan more pages, select Scan More Pages, Scan Reverse Sides, or Scan Is Complete, and click OK.

  • How do you create a PDF document from excel???

    How do you create a PDF document from excel???

    Hi Kwasi Debra,
    You might need to sign up at "https://cloud.acrobat.com/" using your Adobe ID credentials.
    Then, select 'Create PDF' tab and click on 'Select PDF files to export' option.
    Upload your excel file and it will get converted to PDF format within a couple of minutes.
    Later, you can even download the converted file onto your system.
    Please try in the same manner and check.

  • How can I create a PDF directly from RH10?

    It seems a bit absurd that the creators of PDF don't have any way to output a RH10 project directly to a PDF without using Word. Perhaps I'm missing something but I don't get why the resulting PDF ALWAYS has a screwed up TOC. It doesn't recognize the bookmarks as does HTMLhelp or WebHelp. (My source docs are HTMs for all projects)

    Going via Word also generally produces a better document. Today I printed a single topic direct to PDF and the images were a mess that Word fixes as it creates the document.
    When you print you have choices, map the styles to a Word template, use a single CSS to apply to all topics, or use the topics individual CSS files. All three of them then create a single document with the styles defined.
    I have many projects and use the same Word template for all. The projects have different CSS files. In the last page of the print dialog I map the project styles to the template styles. If for some reason I do need a different appearance in a document I amend the Word template or create a new one according to which is most expedient. The Word template gets changed in Word.
    Yes having Word installed is a prerequisite to importing from Word, linking to Word and generating printed documents. As you are working with linked documents I assume you must have Word and you will find using that is the way to go, your TOC problem aside. Are you perhaps letting your Word prejudice get in the way?
    I think you would do better if we focus on why you have TOC problems. Where exactly are these bookmarks? In linked documents or in Rh topics?

  • How do I create a PDF document with multiple different page sizes?

    I scan tif images and can have a single document with Letter, Legal, Tabloid, and even full map plan sizes (36" X 24") all in one document.  I get the document all set, then do a: File, Print, choose Adobe PDF (running Acrobat XI Pro), but it converts all the pages in my tif file to a single size.
    I've found where to set the size, but the problem is I have many different sizes.  Is there a way to have the Adobe PDF printer, just use the original documents page sizes for each page when converting?

    The program I use to create the TIF files (OpenText's eDOCS Imaging) does not make PDFs, it makes TIFs (and TIFFs).  To then convert this, if I try to do it through Adobe directly, I get an error which prompts me to open it in the native program and to choose print and then select the adobe printer.
    This works perfect if every page is the same size, but many times my documents have many different page sizes  as well as portrait and landscape within the same document (but that is a separate option).
    Doesn't Adobe have a "use the original page size / orientation" as an option when creating PDFs from existing documents?

  • How do I create a shared library from iPhoto when the file is too large to burn on DVD?

    I  need to remove some photos (70 GB) to relieve a full hard drive.  I have exported and burned .jpg images on DVDs, but that is only useful as a worst case backup.  What I would like to have is a separate iPhoto Library for each calendar year of photos, so I could still view them in the albums and folders I have created to organize them.  I have done this before in an earlier version of iPhoto, and was able to create 2003 iPhoto Library, 2004 iPhoto Library, etc.  I put a copy on DVD (the full year fit on 1 DVD) and another copy on an external drive.
    I am having problems doing this with iPhoto '09 (version 8.1.2).  The iPhoto library for each year is too large to burn on DVD.  When I select certain albums from the year that will fit on DVD and use the Share>Burn commands, it creates a library with Events and Faces, but none of the albums are listed on the left.  The albums are important to organize the photos for viewing (birthdays, vacations, holidays, etc.)  I didn't always pay attention to labeling Events when I imported photos, so that is not an adequate alternative to my albums.
    I was thinking that if I could create a library for the entire year, it might include my albums and folders. I would have space for this on my external hard drive.  However, I can find no way to create a library for the entire year and put it on my external drive - the only option is to burn a DVD or export .jpg images.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Best suggestion: Buy some external USB or Firewire drives. Move your Library to one, back it up to another. A lot more reliable than DVD, a lot less work and much more convenient. For a start, you don't have to break up the library...

  • How do I create a PDF document from Pages on my iPad

    I have a Pages document on my iPad.  How can I convert this document to a PDF file and send it as an email attachment?
    Pages Help on my iPad says, "Pages documents created or edited on your iOS device can be exported for viewing or editing in Pages or Microsoft Word, or Viewing as a PDF file, on a computer.  I can not find an explanation of how to do this.

    So...there is no "Export" function in the iOS version of Pages or Numbers?  I've gotten used to exporting to PDF in that manner while using my MacBook.  If I have to go back to 'print to file' that is fine.  I assume I can then save it somewhere on the iPad?
    No need to answer....see my post below.  It all makes sense now.

  • How can I create a continuous movie from multiple slideshows in IDVD6

    I have created 5 seperate slideshows in IDVD because I wanted to fit the audio with specific pictures and then play them all as 1 show. I can't figure out how to continuously play the entire 5 chapters in sequence. If I start 1 chapter, it will bring me back to the main menu instead of moving on to the next slideshow.
    Please help! This is a surprise gift for my mother's 60th birthday on Wednesday!
    Thanks,
    Tim

    Sorry, there is no way to link together slideshows like you have in iDVD.
    iDVD 6 does let you create a slideshow of more than 99 images, but some DVD players have problems playing such a slideshow.
    Another way to do this is to create your slideshows as ONE slideshow in iMovie.

  • How do I export the pdf data from multiple forms to an excel spreadsheet?

    I have several forms that one of my employees collects data in. I need that data from those forms to go to a spreadsheet for analyzation purposes. I am using Acrobat XI.

    No, you can't change the way this built-in command works. You can either process it later on in Excel, or you would need to use a custom-made script and an Action to collect the data in the format you want in Acrobat and then export it.

  • How do I create a single PDF Portfolio from an Outlook 2011 email with multiple non-pdf attachments?

    How do I create a single PDF Portfolio from an Outlook 2011 email with multiple non-pdf attachments?
    Email has 3 attachments--some are not pdf. I'd like all three converted into pdf files along with the email itself, and all appear in the email's pdf portfolio.

    I would also like an answer to this question.
    I am trying to convert an Outlook email to a PDF, then all attachment are appended to the PDF as pages instead of attachments.

  • Need to create a PDF Portfolio programatically using the Adobe SDK in C# from a Windows Service.

    What classes/methods should I be using?
    We need to create a PDF portolio from a windows service written in C#.
    We need to merge several PDF documents into a single PDF portfolio from our windows service (programatically).
    I have seen documentation in the Adobe help on how to do it using the Adobe UI, but we need to do this step programatically from our windows servie.
    Thanks!

    You can't access Acrobat from a service - since we won't run in Service mode...only in standard Application mode.  In addition, we don't run on a server.
    But if you were doing this from a standard application - then you'll want to read the JavaScript documentation in the SDK as well as the documents about the .NET/JS bridge.

  • I created a pdf form from a Word doc with 9 pt aerial font formatting; the text on the pdf form is aerial 9 pt, but the fields are formatted in courier 12 pt - How do I reformat the font in the fields??

    You can set up a temporary button (or link, bookmark, etc.) and add the following JavaScript action:
    // Mouse Up script for a temporary button (or bookmark, etc.)
    // Change the font and font size for all text fields in this document
    for (var i = 0; i < numFields; i += 1) {
        var f = getField(getNthFieldName(i));
        if (f.type === "text") {
            f.textFont = font.Helv;
            f.textSize = 9;
    It also sets the font size, but you can remove that line if you don't need to do that.
