How can I delete old movies that I already purchased, which are saved in my account? Actually I don’t want them to be viewed by others who use same account, so is there any solution to delete them? Please advise.

can i use some other company's locked iphone? or can i get official unlock from apple? cause i had iphone but it got water damage and don't want to pay crazy amount of money to get brand new...
and i m getting locked phone from my family memeber for free. but he's with some other carrier. so can i get official unlock for that phone. please help me with this.

I have a smart box designed to receive certain emails. The emails arrive safely to the smart box, but they are also remaining in the original inbox where they arrived. I don't want them in two places. If I delete them from the original inbox will the same email that's in the smartbox stay or also delete? Thanks.

Hi I am new to iPad and have an ipad2. My sister and I share a laptop, she has loads of apps and music files on laptop, which she downloaded to her IPod. I then got my iPad and have somehow downloaded all her music and apps onto the iPad. Which I don't want can anyone tell me how to get rid of the, thank you.
Just delete anything you don't want off your device. You can set up different sync settings for each device in future. Check this out: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1495
If you have different user accounts on your laptop, just make sure your logged in to your account when you plug in, and your sister logs into hers when she plugs in. If you have just one user on the laptop that you share, the link above will help. -
How do I deactivate LR5 from a laptop that I am giving away ?
I see nothing in the Help menu.
Am I required to buy a second copy? (I already have my first copy on my desktop)
ThanksGreat - I did not understand because without a formal deactivation process I did not know how they knew I was not trying to install it on a third machine.
Thanks again.

My details are in my question.
Rename each file to end in .rtf, and then open TextEdit. Save three new documents to your desktop with the same name as each file the Finder reports as being in use, and then overwrite the existing documents. Throw away the TextEdit files.

How do I turn off 'additional plug-ins' pop-up reminder? When I'm surfing websites or Facebook, for example, I keep getting the little pop-up, that reduces my screen size, saying additional plug-ins are available to play all content. I don't want them installed! Audio and video ads are annoying. If I want it I'll click it.
== This happened ==
Every time Firefox opened
== Long agohttp://kb.mozillazine.org/Disabling_yellow_plugin_bar_-_Firefox
Type '''about:config''' in the URL bar and hit Enter.
''If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access that page.''
Pref = '''plugins.hide_infobar_for_missing_plugin''' - double-click that preference to ''toggle'' it to '''true'''
Then restart Firefox. -
How do I stop iTunes from automatically importing songs I listen to from my external hard drive into the music library?
Mac OS X: Double-Clicking a File Opens the Wrong Application - http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2291
-= Changing the application used to open all files of a certain kind (written with reference to OSX 10.4 but may not have changed) =-
1) In a Finder window highlight a file of the kind you want to change the application to open that kind of file.
2) While that file is highlighted, select File > Get Info or press command (apple or propeller icon) + i to get a file information window.
3) In the lower part of the info window there is an "open with" menu with a list of applications.
4) If your application is already in the box then it is the default application for opening that kind of file and you don't need to do anything more. Close the get info window.
5) If the application showing in the menu is not the one with which you wish to open the file then select a new application. If your application does not appear there then select the "other..." and track down the application (usually in the Applications folder at the main level of the computer).
6) If you wish to change all files of this type to open with this application in future, make sure the "change all" button is selected.
7) Close the get info window. -
How do I stop itunes from corrupting it's library on almost a daily basis?
How do I stop itunes from corrupting it's library on almost a daily basis? It's actually becoming infurating to use, and what's happening is I am losing my downloads since the last automated itunes backup (having to rename & replace the current corrupted library with the last backup which is usually a day or two old). What can cause this? Is there ANY alternative to using itunes for Apps (which is the sole use I have for it)? If not, APPLE PLEASE REMOVE THE NEED FOR THE DATABASE SO IT DOESN'T HAVE THE ABILITY TO CORRUPT ITSELF... :'(
Things you see in iTunes are stored in various sub folders in your main iTunes folder as in:
Image of folder structure and explanation of different iTunes versions (turingtest2 post) - https://discussions.apple.com/message/13025536 and https://discussions.apple.com/message/17457605
Start iTunes and immediately hold down the option key. Create a new library somewhere. Go to your old iTunes folder and drag items to the window for the new library. Maybe only grab a folder or part of one at a time. It will copy these items to the new library (so you need lots of extra room on your computer). -
I share my iTunes accont with my kids. Many of the songs that they purchase, I do not want in my iphone Library, and I don't want them to play when I have my phone on shuffle. How an I remove unwanted songs from my phone library withot affecting their devices?
These are the downsides of a shared library because if you delete the song from your library it will get also automatically deleted from your kids library. If you want to proceed then please follow this guide: https://support.apple.com/kb/HT4915

How do i move itunes from one profile to another?
does anyone know how to move my itunes from one profile to another?
Drag the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder to /Users/Shared/.
Log into the other user.
Option drag (this copies instead of moves and sets the correct permissions) the iTunes folder in /Users/Shared/ to your /Music/ folder, replacing what is there.
You can then delete /Users/Shared/iTunes/ folder. -
How do I transfer itunes from one laptop to another
How do I transfer itunes from one laptop to another?
iTunes: How to move [or copy] your music [library] to a new computer [or another drive] - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527 - a somewhat bewildering and not always easily understandable set of options.
Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option (alt) key (shift on Windows), then guide it to the iTunes Library.itl file in the moved iTunes folder.
For the record there's this reference for iTunes 11 but it really doesn't strike me as having the specifics you need. iTunes 11 for Mac: Move your library to another computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12168
Windows users see tip at: https://discussions.apple.com/message/18879381
If you put it in the default location of Macintosh HD > Users > *User Name* > Music (or wherever the equivalent is on Windows) then you don't even need to start with the option key held down, iTunes will automatically look for it there. (Make sure there isn't anything already in the iTunes folder there that you want to keep since you will be replacing it with the one you are moving.) -
How do I transfer iTunes from one computer to another?
How do I transfer iTunes from one computer to another?
This really depends on how technical you want to get, and how much of the library data you want to retain. First, there is getting the actual song files over to your new computer. If both computers are on the same network and are on iTunes 9, you can use home sharing to transfer the song files to your new computer.
Once the files are transferred, now you have to get all of the metadata transferred, like Playlists and Song Ratings. There is a method for doing this that involves editing your Library.xml file to transfer Playlists, Playcounts, etc..
If all you want to transfer is your Playlists and song files, there are programs that will back up your playlists so you can transfer them to a new computer, but if you're able to do the above XML edits (which are pretty simple), that is preferred (and cheaper).
I may receive some form of compensation, financial or otherwise, from my recommendation or link.
