How do I delete hidden breakpoints?

Hi,
XCode is being really annoying with a hidden breakpoint.  It added a breakpoint in a weird spot, and it's a spot that gets hit constantly, so I'm constantly having to restart the program.  I can see the breakpoint in the breakpoint navigator, how do I delete it?  There is a delete option in the ctrl+click menu, but it doesn't do anything, how do I make it functional?

Try to remove the Breakpoints file from your project. You'll be able to find it inside your xcodeproj file:
your_project_name.xcodeproj/xcuserdata/your_username.xcuserdatad/xcdebugger/
Breakpoints.xcbkptlist

  • How can I delete hidden video files from the iPad?

How can I delete hidden video files from the iPad?  These files were created on my MBA and when I changed the media type to iTunesU and then copied it to my iPad via iTunes, they did not appear.  I can see them using 3rd party software, but they don't have delete functionality.
    Thanks
    York

Interesting note:  I can see the files when I use the search function, but when I tap either file, I return to my home screen.  The video does not open.  I can transfer the file to my MBA, and it plays fine, but I cannot figure out a way to delete them.

  • How do I delete "Hidden" purchases ?

I found a section in the "My Account" part of the App Store.
    It listed 9 "Hidden" purchases.
How do I delete these ?

The Apple Support Communities are an international user to user technical support forum. As a man from Mexico my first language is Spanish. I do not speak English, however I do write in English with the aid of the Mac OS X spelling and grammar checks. I also live in a culture perhaps very very different from your own. When offering advice in the ASC, my comments are not meant to be anything more than helpful and certainly not to be taken as insults.
That is never going to happen. You cannot erase the fact that you have purchased an app. If you look in the iTunes app on your computer you will see that in your account there is a record/history of your purchases back to your original content purchase from both the iTunes and Mac App Stores.

  • How do I delete hidden podcasts?

My 5th gen iPod lists podcasts that don't appear when it is connected to iTunes. How can I delete them when they don't show in iTunes?

My final idea is to locate the media folder.
look in preferences - advanced to find out where it is
go to the the podcast foldert
and make any changes you want to
I would do a full back up of your ipod first.
    Failing that restore your ipod.
Hope this helps as i am out of ideas.

  • How to view/delete hidden data on my iPod?

I'm really bad at explaining, so I hope this makes sense!
Well, I was cleaning my iPod this morning, and after deleting all the data from it I noticed there was still 5gb worth of used disk space left. So I assumed it was just my music, but when I checked the summary in iTunes, it said that 3.71gb of that 5gb was of 'other' data, but I had already deleted all the other data on my iPod.
I realise that if I delete stuff from my iPod on my mac, I should empty the trash before disconnecting it or else the data will remain backed up somewhere on the iPod. So if this is the case for this hidden 3.71gb of data, how or where can I find it and delete it?
    Cheers!

Other can be a lot of things: artwork, contacts, notes. However, 3.71 gigs is a lot. Generally, restoring your iPod will fix this problem. Plug your iPod in, launch iTunes and click the Restore button on the summary page. Note: This will delete everything on your iPod.

How do you know it's a "hidden Account?"
Don't know if this will help. To show all invisible Folders:
    Open terminal and copy/paste:
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -bool true
Reverting to the default of NOT showing hidden files:
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -bool false
Restart or Force Quit Finder required to take effect. Use the command
    killall Finder
Or get EasyFind, set to show Invisible files, and search for it there. When you find it, try "Destroy" from EF or choose "Reveal in Finder" and move it to the Trash from there. You may need to enter your password.

  • How do I delete hidden photo files?

When I'm on the road I use my iPad as a depository for my camera photos. I remove the chip from my camera insert it into the iPad card reader and upload them. Some are .jpg and some are .orf files (the RAW format for Olympus pictures).  My Usage meter for photos now reads 30.5GB used for photos but I only have a handful showing. I know the .orf files are there but not seen as when I download to Lightroom they are imported but I can't see them on the iPad to delete them from the iPad. I can delete their .jpg brothers but I can't see or delete the .orf hidden raw files.  Regardless of the number of seen .jpg files I delete, I can't move the 30.5gb usage number.  My usage says 30.5gb so I continually get no more room error messages but can't find a way to clear out my photo folder.  I don't sync photos with my desktop.  I would be willing to erase all photos but don't know how. Even if I could select every photo through "Selection" it doesn't get at the hidden files. Any ideas?

Do my computer need to take up 220GB of my hard drive to work? I have tons of external hard disks, but I need to be able to have my basic documents on my Mac.

  • How Do I Delete Hidden Files in Compressed Folders?

I'm working on a mac and sometimes I compress files and send them to be opened on a PC. Is there anyway to delete the hidden files that mac adds to a zip file before sending it, or disable their creation completely? I'm thinking about getting a mac at home, but this could be one of the deal breakers.
    Kevin

There are ways to make hidden files visible in the finder, but here I don't think that will help - the files you are seeing are CREATED by the finder, and you are presumably using the finder to make your zip files. So if you make these files visible and try to delete them using the finder before creating your archive they will probably just be re-created. You can delete any file manually in terminal, but I doubt you could do it within an archive.
Another solution would be to use a stand-alone application to create the zip files instead of the finder. Browsing VersionTracker I came upon "YemuZip", freeware at
    http://www.yellowmug.com/yemuzip/
Again I haven't tried it, but it claims to be able to exclude the Mac-specific files that show up on PCs.
Some of these freeware utilities are very handy - at least worth a look.

  • HELP! How can I delete hidden video files?

If anyone could help, it would be much appreciated:
I have a 64GB iPad (non-jailbroken) and used a video App called gplayer to move several large video lectures (about 30GB) via wifi FTP to my iPad so that I could play the files using gplayer directly off the iPad (which worked VERY well)....
...until gplayer had an update, and now for some reason I guess their filestructure changed, so my previous videos are no longer seen
(yet I now still physically on the iPad taking up 30GB space!)
Now, I need to find those files and DELETE them so I can free up the space...unfortunately I cannot find them using Windows File Explorer (I checked all 100 folders in the DCIM folders...which only had my photos).
I tried to email gplayer support, but they haven't given me a reply yet.
I already tried to UNINSTALL the gplayer App, and reinstall it, but It did not fix the problem.
Does anyone know a way to view the full iPad file structure, and find the "hidden" files so I can delete them off my iPad?
I know the files are there, as under my Settings/General/About icon,
the "Videos" section shows that there are "60" files.
(I don't have any Videos in the Videos App that show up, or have ever used iTunes to upload videos!!)
    Thanks for any help!!!

thats a good thought.  I will try to sync the iPad physically to the computer (i haven't done this in a while, since everything has been wirelessly done)
... but i have hundreds of apps, which will take a long time.  Wanted to see if there were other methods before going down this route.  I guess I'll have to check the "sync my apps" box in iTunes and try it out ... ?

  • How do I delete hidden contact?

In my Contacts list, freshly synced with my PC, I see a contact with a corrected email address. It is the only contact listed for this person in the Contacts list on the iPod Touch. However, when I go to email and add this person as a recipient, it lists that person as having the old wrong email address. How do I get email to use the fresh contact from the contacts list. I can't delete the wrong address from Contacts because it doesn't show two entries for this person, only one with the corrected email. Why does email use the old wrong email address? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
BTW, I already tried deleting the Contact from Windows Mail and the iPod touch, re-synced, and the Contact was removed from the iPod. Then I recreated the Contact in Windows Mail, re-synced, it added the Contact back into my Contacts list on the iPod, but email was still picking up the wrong invisible email address.
    Thanks,
    Vicki Carter

    Vicki:
This appears to be a Windows Mail issue, but here is what I would try:
First, make sure your iPod is turned OFF, and iTunes is not running.
Second, log on to Windows Mail, delete that contact, and then log out of Windows Mail.
Third, connect your iPod to your PC.  iTunes should launch and synch your iPod.
Fourth, when the synch is finisned, eject the iPod, shut iTunes down, and then check your contacts list on the iPod.
If the contact is not there, we are half way home...
What we need to do now is wait for a while before we add that contact.  This will give the Windows Mail server(s) time to update.
After a couple of hours or so, make sure the iPod is turned OFF.  Log into Windows Mail and create the contact.
Use your PC to send an e-mail to the contact and request a reply.  This way we verify the address is correct...
If this works,  connect you iPod to the PC, let iTunes synch, eject the iPod, and check your contact list.
If this fails I'd wager its time to talk to Windows Mail Support.
BTW:  In another life I was a "Microsoftie" and worked in Microsoft Product Support in Desktop Systems (Win3.x to Windows 2000 Server) Product Support.

  • How do I delete hidden podcast files?

I have some video podcast episodes which -- according to the "Device" tab on iTunes -- are still on my iPod Touch taking up space but which are not visible. So no, I can't "swipe-right-then-press-delete", iTunes doesn't let me delete the files directly from the iPod, and turning off syncing the podcast simply made ALL the files invisible to the iPod user interface.
It's an iPod Touch 4 with iOS 5.1.1, and I'm using iTunes 10 on a Mac.

I am having the exact same problem!
I made a Smart Playlist for my podcasts so I could "see" them all at once, in one master list. And after listening through them, I gave the ones I didn't want to keep a "1-Star" rating. Then, I went into the podcast master directory and deleted those podcasts. But they're all still in my Smart Playlist. And they actually play, so they're not "phantom" files...
This is really frustrating. Any ideas?

  • How do I delete hidden purchases from my cloud?

My son is on my account and he downloaded inappropriate apps a couple years ago.  I would like to know how to wipe this filth off of my account and out of its history.

As far as I know, you can't.  However, you could try contacting iTunes store support and explain the situation to see if they could do this for you.  You can reach them here: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.
