How do I display Tools Developer Page Source without HTML Character Entities, such as & and

I am using Firefox 8.0 on Windows XP. In earlier versions of Firefox, when I would display the page source, the page would be displayed in all its original characters, including < > & and so on (including the HTML reserved characters.)
Now when I display page source, the page source is displayed, but instead of displaying html tags,
 for example,
it will display in the source instead.
For a longer example, instead of displaying
text to display
the source is rendered as
text to display
Is there a way to direct Firefox to display page source using all actual characters instead of using character entities?

The html tags render until it encounters this code:

Assuming you are using Pages 5, you haven't said:
1. Select multiple paragraphs > Text > Layout > Borders & Rules > choose a line > select a thickness > select the 4th Positon (all around) > Offset
or
2. Inseert a rectangular shape > Resize to suit > Format > Fill > No fill > Border > Line > select thickness/color > Arrange > Stay on Page > Text Wrap > None
If you want that on every page
Menu > Arrange > Section Masters > Move Object to Section Master
Pages will not be able to use fonts that are on your PC (I suppose?) if it doesn't have them. Obviously.
Just as your PC will not be able to use the Mac's fonts.

1).maintain either a HttpSessionListener or a session flag try to checkout whether the user is active or else close the PrintWriter.
2).Prevent caching of the webpage by using customary meta tag or by response,setHeader("Cache-Control","no-cache");

Mine does too, but only if I have no text selected for any of the tools to work on.

How To Customize displaying of JSP page From Backing Bean

I would like to customize the displaying of jsp page from backing bean based on user Roles
For example
- if the Role is Admin then backing bean should display Admin.jsp
- if the Role is Guest then backing bean should display Guest.jsp
Any pointers/suggestions will be highly appreciated

I wanna make it more Dynamic. In the sense
"Backing Beans should drive the rendering of first jsp page in the application " and not jsp page driving the backing bean or not to put some kind of hard coding in jsp page to see if its admin user then display certain set of UI Components or certain set of other UI components for other users.
As we have atleast 10 different Roles and there can be Composite Roles i.e. combination of two roles. In this case how does the Backing Bean drives the rendering of jsp page?

How can I display a PDF file in an html file?

When a user opens a specific page I want to be able to show them the PDF of the form they need to print out.
If this was an image 9such as JPEG) then there would be no problem, but a PDF is causing me to wrack my brain.
I know how to pen the PDF in a new window, but I want the menu I created to be at the top.

If you click on the Doctors menu and select, say Dr. Robert A. Gatlin you will see that I have an area where I can display information, on the left side of the page.

How do I achieve this?

There is no advantage in embedding printer-friendly PDF pages into HTML. One is a print document. The other is a web page. Best to keep them separate.
And for reasons you may not have considered, site visitors might not have the appropriate plug-ins necessary to view PDF in browsers. If you link directly to the file, your site visitors can download it and open it in Acrobat or some other PDF Reader.
If you want to treat PDF like an image you can convert it to jpg.

How can I re-order the pages in my document with having to cut and paste everything?

Hello, I have a larger sized document and I need to reorder the sections of my document. However there are many images so cut-paste seems to screw up my formatting since pages like to move text around automatically but not images (like if I hit backspace until the text goes back to the previous page, the images will stay on the same page without moving back).
On the previous version of pages (pages' 09 I believe) I could simply click and drag the page thumbnails around. However I cannot seem to be able to do this in Pages'13... Am I missing something here?

Pages '09 offered two types of documents.
Word processing documents included a text layer, and consisted of sections made up of multiple pages. If no section breaks were inserted, a fifty page document could consist of a single section. Text could be placed directly into the text layer, and Objects could be placed on the page as Floating Objects, independent of the text, and able to make text flow around themselves, or could be placed as Inline Objects, inserted into the line of text running from beginning to end of the document, and moving with the text as it was edited.
In a Page Layout document, each page was a single section. There was no text layer, so only objects could be placed on the page. Any text had to be contained in a Text box or in a Shape. Unless grouped, each object was independent of the others.
Changing your images from Floating to Inline objects may be the key to your document rearranging issues. They can be changed back to Floating after being moved to theor new locations.

Displaying HTML character entities in JEditorPane

I have noticed that when displaying HTML character entity references in a JEditorPane it will show some of them, e.g. © for copyright symbol but not others e.g. ’ for "curly" single quote.
Is there any way to get JEditorPane to show all (most?) of them?

How can I display application offline page when OAS is offline?

I am using IIS with oracle_proxy.dll redirecting to my oracle application server. When I do maintenance on the application and stop the OAS service the end-user gets the HTTP 500 - Internal server error from Internet Explorer. I would prefer for them to see a custom page that displays that the application is offline for maintenance. I tested with IIS custom error pages but that is not where the 500 page is coming from. The page being displayed is the IE friendly HTTP error message. I can't see how a configuration on the Oracle application server would help because the service is offline. Is there anything I can do to explain to the users that this is a scheduled maintenance and display a more informative page? I understand the solution may involve stopping, changing a configuration file in IIS and restarting. If so how can I script that so it can be easily done and what is the easiest way to do it?

I have downloaded audiobooks from the library using Overdrive for years. I have a new computer with Windows 8 and now it's been difficult. I have a book ready to transfer to ITunes to download to my Ipod but in order to transfer it a message came up saying go to the summary page in ITunes and check Manually Mange Music. I can't find the summary page anywhere on itUNES

The Summary screen is what you see in the main part of the iTunes window, when you select the iPod in iTunes.
To select the iPod in iTunes when the iTunes sidebar is NOT visible, there is a "device button" near the upper right corner of the iTunes window. If your iPod is the only connected device, it should say "iPod." Click it to select your iPod in iTunes.
If the iTunes sidebar IS visible (along left side of window), the iPod appears in the sidebar, under DEVICES. Click it there to select it.
When the iPod is selected, there is a row of buttons that starts with Summary. Summary should be the initially displayed screen. That setting (a checkbox) is actually Manually manage music and videos for an iPod touch.

For whatever reason the iPad will not display lyrics, I think its been this way since iOS 7. The iPhone will display them, but not iPad. I don't think its a bug, I think Apple wants it this way for some reason ... give your feedback here:
