  • How can i end the Process chain based on some condition

    HI All,
    I have a scenario where i have a main pc chain which call  the  new chain at the end which in turn again call pc1. So its more like a closed loop .
    pc1-->pc2->pc1
    What main chain does is it reads some field value from a dso and assign that to some variable and set some flag to identify that value has been used. My second chain just run the report using the same variables assign by first chain. Now i have to design the main chain such that when all the values have been read from the dso, it should exit and should not trigger 2nd chain. How can i achieve this scenario.
    Thanks
    Prashant

    Hi,
    For this try using Process Type-"Decision between multiple Alternatives" in your main chain.It helps you the set condieion based on some formulas
    Pls refer links

  • Calling two table controlls based on some conditions......

    I hav a requirement in which i have two table controlls, which i want to call based on some conditions. Like if condition is satisfied the first table controll shud fill up the screen and other wise the secondtable controll shud fill the screen....

    Hello,
    In the main screen where u need to vary with the 2 table controls , create a subscreen area .
    Now create two subscreens with the required table controls respectively.
    You can dynamically call the subscreens accordingly for  the conditions.
    Hope this may help you.

  • How to export the table data to the excel?

    Hi,
    I'm new to WebDynpro. im having a table 5rows and 6 columns, i need the data in the table to be exported to excel sheet by clicking on a button.
    As i went through some of the blogs and tutorials i couldn't understand the procedure, so could any one help out with detailed procedure.
    Thanks & Regards,
      Suresh

    HI! Suresh,
      This is a littile bit complicated process.Here i am trying to expalin the procedure,
    if you are having any problem then let me know.
    Following are the steps:--
    1.create two controls one of type linkToAction and other of type FileDownload and a location on your portal server say it's "/server0/temp/webdynpro/web/local/testexcel.xls"
    2.create a method in your view or controller and call this method as downLoadToXls()
    3.create a Value attribute of type binary in your context,say it's dataContent.
    4.Bind your linkToAction Control to the method downLoadToXls() and control   FileDownLoad data property to dataContent.
    5.In the init() Hook methos write the following code:--
    IWDAttributeInfo attInfo = wdContext.getNodeInfo().getAttribute("dataContent");
    IWDModifiableBinaryType binaryType = (IWDModifiableBinaryType)  attInfo.getModifiableSimpleType();
    // In addition the FileDownload UI element needs for defined resource types
    binaryType.setFileName("testexcel.xls");
    binaryType.setMimeType(WDWebResourceType.XLS);
    6.in DownLoadToXls() method add the following code:--
    try {
            out = new FileOutputStream(path);
           workBook = new HSSFWorkbook();
          hsSheet = workBook.createSheet("UserID");
         cs = workBook.createCellStyle();
         cs1 = workBook.createCellStyle();
         cs2 = workBook.createCellStyle();
         dataFormat = workBook.createDataFormat();
         f = workBook.createFont();
         f1 = workBook.createFont();
         f.setFontHeightInPoints((short) 12);
        //make it blue
         f.setColor( (short)HSSFFont.COLOR_NORMAL );
         //make it bold
        //arial is the default font
        f.setBoldweight(HSSFFont.BOLDWEIGHT_BOLD);
        //set font 2 to 10 point type
        f1.setFontHeightInPoints((short) 10);
        //make it red
        f1.setColor( (short)HSSFFont.COLOR_RED);
        //make it bold
        f1.setBoldweight(HSSFFont.BOLDWEIGHT_BOLD);
        f1.setStrikeout(false);
       cs.setFont(f);
       cs.setDataFormat(dataFormat.getFormat("#,##0.0"));
       //set a thick border
       cs2.setBorderBottom(cs2.BORDER_THICK);
       //fill w fg fill color
       cs2.setFillPattern((short) HSSFCellStyle.SOLID_FOREGROUND);
       cs2.setFillBackgroundColor((short)HSSFCellStyle.SOLID_FOREGROUND);
       //set the cell format to text see HSSFDataFormat for a full list
       cs2.setDataFormat(HSSFDataFormat.getBuiltinFormat("text"));
       cs2.setFont(f1);
       cs2.setLocked(true);
        cs2.setWrapText(true);
        hsSheet.createFreezePane(0,1,1,1);
        row = hsSheet.createRow(0);
         cell = row.createCell((short)0 ,0);
          cell.setCellValue("User ID");
          cell.setCellStyle(cs2);
          cell = row.createCell((short)1 ,1);
          cell.setCellValue("Last Changed Password Date");
          cell.setCellStyle(cs2);
        int nodeSize = wdContext.nodeUserIDAndPass().size();
        for(int jCount=0; jCount < nodeSize; jCount++) {
         row = hsSheet.createRow(jCount+1);
           for(int count = 0; count < 2; count++) {
          if(count == 0) {
         cell = row.createCell((short)0,count);
    cell.setCellValue(wdContext.nodeUserIDAndPass().getUserIDAndPassElementAt(jCount).getCtx_UserID());
          if(count == 1) {
            cell = row.createCell((short)1,count);
      cell.setCellValue(wdContext.nodeUserIDAndPass().getUserIDAndPassElementAt(jCount).getCtx_ChangedPasswd());
          cell.setCellStyle(cs2);
                                                               workBook.write(out);
    out.close();
    //Read the file that was created.
            FileInputStream fin = new FileInputStream(path);
            byte b[] = new byte[fin.available()];
           fin.read(b,0,b.length);
           fin.close();
            wdContext.currentContextElement().setDataContent(b);
      }catch(Exception e)     {
      wdComponentAPI.getComponent().getMessageManager().reportException("Exception while reading file "+e,true);                   }
    7. Add the follwoing constant at the end:--
    private FileOutputStream out = null;
         private HSSFWorkbook workBook = null;
         private HSSFSheet hsSheet = null;
         private HSSFRow row = null;
         private HSSFCell cell = null;
         private HSSFCellStyle cs = null;
         private HSSFCellStyle cs1 = null;

         private HSSFFont f = null;
         private HSSFFont f1 = null;
         private String path = "/server0/temp/webdynpro/web/local/testexcel.xls";
    8.Add the follwowing jars in your classPath.
    1)poi-3.0.1-FINAL-20070705.jar
    2)jxls.jar

  • How to find out the table, data for the IDOCS is pulled from?

    HI
    The ZFPH9999397 VENDOR FEED job runs the RBDMIDOC program with the variant Z9999_397.  This creates IDOCS that are sent out and eventually wind up in IMOS.
    The IDOC Type is CREMAS.
    Can you tell me which table or tables the data for these IDOCS is pulled from?
    Or tell me the procedure to find out the table name.
    Thanks,
    das.
    Edited by: sathish dasari on Dec 10, 2009 11:54 AM

    You can use Transp. Table      TBD62 .
    enter Message Type                      CREMAS
    you will get the list of tables and the fields from which data is pulled based on the change pointers in Transp. Table      BDCP.

  • How to change the colour of the table cell editor on some condition?

    Hi all,
    I have a requirment acco which i need to make the colour of the tableceleditor ias RED and font color white when the data in that is < 0.please tell me how is this possible and its urgent..
    regards
    Sharan

    If you are using release NW04 and have a TextView as table cell editor, you can do this:
    Add a calculated attribute "Color" of DDIC type "com.sap.ide.webdynpro.uielementdefinitions.TextViewSemanticColor" under the data source node of the table.
    Bind the "semanticColor" of the cell editor to this context attribute.
    Implement the get-method for the calc. attribute like this
    WDTextViewSemanticColor get<DataSourceNode>Color(I<DataSourceNode>Element element)
      return element.getValue() < 0 ? WDTextViewSemanticColor.NEGATIVE : WDTextViewSemanticColor.STANDARD;

  • How to move all the tables from one tablespace to other for a whole schema

    Hi,
    Is there any way to move all the tables in a schema from one tablespace to other?
    If so please help me out to do that.
    Thanks
    Regards
    Gatha

    hi,
    here is the steps to move SCOTT's objects from their current tablespace to a NEW_TABLESPACE
    would be:
    1) do an export of all of scott's objects. Make sure no one modifies them after you
    begin this process. You will lose these changes if they do.
    $ exp userid=scott/tiger owner=scott
    2) you would drop all of scotts tables. This will get the indexes as well. I don't
    suggest dropping the user SCOTT but rather dropping scott's objects. Dropping scott
    would cause any system priveleges SCOTT has to disappear and the import would not restore
    them. This script can be used to drop someones tables:
    set heading off
    set feedback off
    set verify off
    set echo off
    spool tmp.sql
    select 'drop table &1..' || table_name || ' cascade constraints;'
    from dba_tables
    where owner = upper('&1')
    spool off
    @tmp.sql
    3) You would modify the user to not have unlimited tablespace (else the IMP will just
    put the objects right back into the tablespace they came from) and then give them
    unlimited quota's on the new tablespace you want the objects to go into and on their
    temporary tablespace (for the sorts the index creates will do)
    alter user SCOTT default tablespace NEW_TABLESPACE
    revoke unlimited tablespace from SCOTT
    alter user SCOTT quota unlimited on NEW_TABLESPACE
    alter user SCOTT quota unlimited on SCOTTS_TEMPORARY_TABLESPACE
    4) you will IMP the data back in for that user. IMP will rewrite the create statements
    to use the users default tablespace when it discovers that it cannot create the objects
    in their original tablespace. Please make sure to review the file imp.log after you do
    this for any and all errors after you import.
    imp userid=scott/tiger full=y ignore=y log=imp.log
    5) you can optionally restore 'unlimited tablespace' to this user (or not). If you do
    not, this user can only create objects in this new tablespace and temp (which in itself
    is not a bad thing)...

  • How to  hide information on the rtf template based on some condition

    Hi,
    I'm writing a new rtf template for our custom PO print program in EBS 11.5.10.. In reports 6i, you can have a format trigger on a frame or repeating frame and you can achieve this.. Can you please let me know if this is possible in XMLP and how can i do it..
    Thanks,
    Shree

    Hi Shree,
    see for example if you want to get the employees record group by department number then...in this case if you want to hide some columns of employees then use if condition...where you are using ur column name.....
    like this .....if you want to hide salary column for dept no 20 then
    if dept no<> 20 then sal end if;...... use this at the column def....
    its like a dynamic data column generation.....for the exact code you can refer to XML Publisher User Guide......Chapter is Creating RTF Template.....section is dynamic Data Columns...
    Regards

  • How do I export the pdf data from multiple forms to an excel spreadsheet?

    I have several forms that one of my employees collects data in. I need that data from those forms to go to a spreadsheet for analyzation purposes. I am using Acrobat XI.

    No, you can't change the way this built-in command works. You can either process it later on in Excel, or you would need to use a custom-made script and an Action to collect the data in the format you want in Acrobat and then export it.

  • Need to delete few rows in the query output based on some condition

    Hi all,
    My  requirement is
    Period    KF1      KF2      KF3
    09 ........10......  20.......   30
    08........  5......    -2....      .33
    08......    5......    -1......     37
    If i restrict for period 08 in the query,the output should be
    Period    KF1      KF2      KF3
    08......     5......     -2.....      33
    08......     5.....      -1......     37
    Note that here KF3 is not cummulative....i have used <=period in the restriction

    Hi,
    As i said when i restrict the period to 08,instead of getting output
    Period KF1 KF2 KF3
    08...... 5...... -2..... 33
    08...... 5..... -1...... 37
    i am getting it as
    Period KF1 KF2 KF3
    08...... 5...... -2..... 3
    08...... 5..... -1...... 4
    But i need to get the value as
    Period KF1 KF2 KF3
    08...... 5...... -2..... 33
    08...... 5..... -1...... 37
    Let me know if it is still confusing

  • How to find out the tables related to CRM datasources?

    How to find out the tables related to CRM datasources? For example, the table related to 0CRM_OPPT_H.
    Regards,
    R.Ravi

    Hi Ravi,
    To find out all tables used go into the CRM source system to transaction RSA3 and prepare the selections for extraction of your datasource.
    In a parallel session execute transaction ST05 and press the button 'Activate Trace'
    Go back to the extracor checker and execute the extraction.
    Switch sessions and subsequently 'Deactivate Trace' and 'Display Trace'.
    This will list all tables used.

  • How to dynamically add/remove a button from the ribbon based on some condition? (Ribbon XML)

    Hi,
    I have a ribbon (done using ribbon XML) with menu options. I need to remove few buttons from the menu dynamically based on some condition. Also, I want to change the label of another button. How to achieve this programmatically? (C#)
    Thanks in advance.
    Thanks Prasad

    Hello Prasad,
    Use callbacks for populating Ribbon controls such as menu, dropDown, gallery and etc. Then you can use the
    Invalidate or
    InvalidateControl methods of the
    IRibbonUI interface to get your callbacks invoked when required. Thus, you will be able to delete the required item(s).
    You will find the following articles in MSDN helpful:
    Chapter 11: Creating Dynamic Ribbon Customizations (1 of 2)
    Chapter 11: Creating Dynamic Ribbon Customizations (2 of 2)
    To change the label of your controls at runtime you need to use the getLabel callback and call the Invalidate or InvalidateControl methods of the IRibbonUI interface. The following series of articles describe the Fluent UI in depth:
    Customizing the 2007 Office Fluent Ribbon for Developers (Part 1 of 3)
    Customizing the 2007 Office Fluent Ribbon for Developers (Part 2 of 3)

  • How can I return the current Date in Java?

    I am new to Java, and basically I want to know how I can return the current date as a variable, so for example, I have declared the following date variable
    private java.util.Date currentDate;How can I return the current date, do I have to write a method? To be more specific, I need to write a setMethod, that simply returns the current Date in Java.
    Please point me in the right direction.
    Thanks,

    If all you want is a date for printing or displaying, the easiest way is to use Date as shown below. If you need something more complex, look at the Calendar API.
    import java.util.Date;
    class DateEx
         public static void main(String args[])
              Date now = new Date();
              System.out.println(now);
    }

  • Display Image(which set as behind text)   based on some condition.

    hi all
    I have developed a xml report and in that rtf am displaying a static image (which is set as behin text).
    But i need to display the image based on some condition
    for example i have a field as ORG_ID
    if org_id=87 then image should display for that purpose am planning to use <?if:ORG_ID=87?> condition but where to place this condition for the image.
    kindly help me
    thanks for all in advance.

    that too not working because
    on image am displaying some other fields.
    see i think you didn't get my point.
    in my out put page am displaying item details ,quantity,and cost and customer details just like invoice copy .
    behind this data am displaying my company logo which will capture whole page size..
    if i place the image in table then fields will be automatically in table so i cant restrict image in this way.
    Kindly suggest any other way that works only for image which is behind text. i mean condition should be applicable only for image and leaving all other fileds in rtf.
    or
    help on this how to set a dynamic image as behind the text.
