How do I find the maps inspector

According to the iMovie help, when I add an ani,ated map to my project, an inspector will open. This is where I can set start and end points for a jorney.
However no inspector is opening, and I can't find how to make it open.
can anyone help please?
It alo mentions:
"To apply an interesting visual effect to the map, click the Video Effect button (labeled None)."
can someone please tell me whero to find this button?

That's interesting Pete (but annoying for you). I just tested it, although I've used that feature before in iMovie '09. It worked fine. The Inspector opened as soon as I dropped the Map into the project "timeline". I was able to add City locations and effects.
Try deleting iMovie's preference file. It's in your user (Home) folder Library>Preferences and named "com.apple.iMovieApp.plist". Close iMovie then trash this file. When next opened, iMovie will create a new file with the default settings. You can change any settings to your own preference - go to the iMovie menu item iMovie>Preferences and make any changes under each of the 4 tabs. Deleting the preference file can often fix unusual behaviour by iMovie.
Another thing to try. Click on the small gear icon (cogwheel) on the Map clip and select Clip Adjustments from the pop-up menu. The Inspector should now open.

You can also use the shape tool to draw a shape roughly following the outline of the graphic you want to wrap text around, change the fill and stroke to "none", then paste your text within the shape. It's a few more steps, but it opens you up to many creative alternative layouts.

It's not likely to re-connect to a network lying on the ground somewhere and getting rained on, it would be really great if I could see that map again so I could use it's last known location to find it. Kind of pointless to have a 24 hr killswitch deadline. If I had known I would have taken a screen-shot while I still had access to the information. Since I lost the phone at Canada's Wonderland (which is now closed for the season) I don't have access to the location where I lost the phone (under a roller-coaster probably), and so I wanted to send the Lost And Found people a screen-shot of it's last known location, but I guess I can't do that now. (Apple are big jerks)

Anyone who can help me? I would like to know is there any way to know Business Object is behind object associated to Context Node, it seems that for some cases is easy but for instance for object BuilHeader is not the case, at least for me. View BP_ADDR/StandardAddress, which belongs to UI Component BP_ADDR, has context node HEADER which is associated to BuilHeader. In case to enhance that object (to add new attributes), using EEWB, I need to know what is the business object behind that external name. Somehow I cannot find the mapping between external name BuilHeader and Business Object.

Hi Aleks,
If you want to enhance Business Partner, the object you are looking at should be "BUPA" in EEWB. To my knowledge, there is no place where this kind of mapping is maintained.
Note 484597 describes where to find the Cookbook which describes the enhanceable objects and the enhancement process.

dear experts,
when i extract data from 0CO_PC_ACT_05, find some material have no the movemetn average price in some specific periods. why the period is not in series? how can i get the right MAP?
another question, in r/3 side, in MBEW, our currenct period is 2007-006, but when i extract data via rsa3, i find the MAP about period 2009-002, why ? it's very strange!

Blackberry Maps on Storm (Verizon) - How can I recenter the map during GPS tracking?

Greets folks!
I'm hoping someone has an answer, or can point me to documentation.
I've recently moved to a new city and have found the Maps app to be very helpful. However there's one nagging question that's driving me crazy; how can I recenter the map on my GPS position after moving the map?
I'll be using GPS navigation, and either accidentally or deliberately scroll the map. The GPS navigation icon still shows navigation is still taking place, and if I scroll the map manually back to my position it still shows the location icon. However the map no longer moves with the location icon.
Any way to set the map to center on the location icon again? The only option I've found so far is to stop and restart GPS navigation which takes time, etc.

Hello Falconeer and welcome to the forums!
When using the Maps application you should be able to snap back to your location so long as you have "GPS Navigation" set to started and your position is currently being tracked. If you pan off the course and lose sight of your position you should be able to press the "Escape" key immediately to the left of the "End Call" button while viewing the map. Just make sure that you only press it once or you may find yourself looking at the directions list again.

How do I find the cookies I want to keep

Recently I asked for some help but I think my request has got lost.
I had beenadvised to save the cookies I want to keep but this is beyond me.
My question is how do I find the cookie I want to keep? It is a cookie for an ebook and I have no idea what it is.
Will deleting all other cookies mean that it will also delete my passwords and log ins on several sites? I don't want this to happen.
Which brings me to the last point - You say that if I list exceptions to cookies I want to keep (at least I think that is what you mean), how do I find all those cookies?
Again, sorry for troubling you but until I can find out more about the cookies, I don't want to delete these in case I delete the wrong ones, such as the ebook.

Are they labelled with the sites they refer to? If so that will help me. Apart from one which is the cookie I need to get to my online ebook, I guess there are cookies for the various passwords I have saved?

In Mountain Lion, how do I find the location of an open Preview File? The file "properties" tab is no longer available.

I typically have several open Preview files at any one time and often forget where, sometimes if, I saved them. In Mountain Lion, how do I find the location of an open Preview File? Tried holding option + command in spotlight but I don't see a path name appear anywhere.

Yes, cmd-option on a file you choose in Spotlight and the path will appear at the bottom of the Preview window.
EDIT: Also, if it is bookmarked the path is in Bookmarks.

How can I find the URL for an iCal calendar in iCloud so I can make a link to it on a web page.

I have a single iCal calendar that I want people to access through my webpage. How can I find the URL so that they can view the calendar without having to subscribe to it. I converted to iCloud from .Mac and I can see that changes to this calendar are not showing up.
