How do i get iPhoto or Ilife for macbook retina. Have upgraded to 10.9.1 and don't think it ever came with what I was entitled. Can I get these for free through Apple support? thx!

How do I delete a book purchased for ebooks through Apple iTunes
My son took my ipad on vacation and purchased inappropriate books for ebooks through Apple itunes, these books need to be removed, ASAP. How do I remove these books? When I open my apple account they do not show up, when it open the ebooks account they are there. Gotta get them removed. I contacted book bud & ebooks, both told me I needed to contact the download engine....since I'm usually asked for iTunes password and/or apple password is why I'm asking. Could somebody please help me. Thank you.
If they are ibooks purchased from the iTunes ibookstore then though purchases are considered final you can try the 'report a problem' link on the account's purchase history to contact iTunes Support and see if they will refund or credit you : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

What do you do if you have bought a used iPad and the apps won't update without the original id and password. Can't delete the apps that come with the iPad and reinstall them so what do I do?
Correct. An app can only be updated under the Apple ID that was used to orginally acquire the app. If that is a problem you can delete the app and download again under the new userid. If you paid for the app you will have to pay again. Your old Apple ID does not go away so there is no reason to not use it to download the apps.
You cannot delete the apps that came with IOS. If you want to "hide" the apps simply put the apps into an application folder by dragging one app onto another. You can do this to all the IOS apps. -

This issue is more complex than some of the responses you have gotten are indicating. You definitely should avoid Norton, but there actually IS malware out there, and all anti-virus software is NOT "snake oil." Don't listen to anyone who tells you otherwise, as they don't know what they're talking about.
Although you should be able to do without anti-virus software just fine, there are some perfectly good reasons to install it and some good anti-virus apps to use if you decide to do so. Further, even if you do avoid anti-virus software, you need to understand what the threats are so you don't end up thinking you're totally safe and do something you shouldn't. -
Can you get iLife for free on a used mac?
I just bought a used macbook pro yesterday and i was dissappointed to see that it didn't have iLife on it. Doesn't Apple claim that all new macbooks come with iLife? The macbook pro i have is a recent model, the macbook pro is from 2011. I thought iLife should have been on it. i'm very dissapointed because im into songwriting and I wanted to use garageband. My laptop came installed with OS X 10.8.3 so i think it should've had ilife with it. is there a way i could get ilife for free?
1. This applies to new computers. The previous owner of an used one may have deleted it.
2. If it originally shipped with Mac OS X 10.6.8 or earlier, install it from the computer's original disks, or if desired, erase the drive and install a new OS. If it shipped with Mac OS X 10.7 or newer, open the Mac App Store, sign in, and click on the Purchases tab; if you aren't given the option to accept it, contact Apple.

I thought I read that anyone who bought a new iDevice on or after Oct. 1, 2014 could get the iLife and iWork apps for free on their iDevice and the same Mac applications would be free for any Mac with the same iCloud account. I purchased an iPad Air in January and got those apps for free on it, but when I bought a used Mac locally I can't get any of those apps for free? If it is possible to get those iLife and iWork apps on my Mac that way please tell me.

No, they said if you bought a new iOS device on or after September 1, 2013, the iOS versions would be free. And if you purchased a new Mac on or after October 1, 2013, the Mac OS versions would be free. The Mac & iOS iWork & iLife apps are separate applications for two different operating systems. Unless you purchased a new Mac after October 1, 2013, you will have to purchase them for your used Mac. -

If the computer is registered with Apple as new from December 2013, then if you search for the apps to "buy" (Pages, Keynote, Numbers, iMovie, iPhoto, Garageband) in the App store, it SHOULD give you the price as FREE. If it does not, I suggest you contact Apple and ask their advice.

The only possible "glitch" in this is that you were not the original purchaser. Speak to Apple and see what they say - they may be willing to facilitate the download for you. -

We intend to sell a package of online software to Golf clubs. Part of the bundle is 25 iPhones that their members use whilst attending the club. There is an app which is controlled and administered by the online software, each of the 25 apps need to have this app installed, and the AppStore is the best way for them to download it and be pushed updates.
Would we be breaching Apple’s terms and conditions in any way by offering this app for free through the AppStore and taking payment for the online software separately (the iPhone app is completely unusable without the online software).
Please could you advise?Probably a question best addressed either in the developers' forum or by contacting Apple directly.

The only way is through the iTunes Support site : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side ofde the page, then iTunes Cards And Codes (you will probably need to give them images of the front and back of the card, and possibly its receipt). You've tried a different browser in case it's a problem with the one that you are using ?
