How do i get itunes to connect to my phone on recovery mode without having to put in a passcode?

i turned on my iphone holding the home button and connected it to my computer, on the screen it said connect to iTunes. iTunes then opened up on my computer and I pressed start recovery mode. on the top it started loading 1 item, half ways through the download it said iTunes could not connect to my iphone because of the passcode and I must enter it before I can connect with iTunes. I cannot enter my passcode because my iphone says disabled and to connect to iTunes, I also do not know my password.

The card information must exactly match the issuing bank's billing records precisely. Often this is not a discrepancy with the security code, but an address or ZIP code that is not an exact match.

Thanks for the question. You can transfer certain types of media from your iPod to a new iTunes library. These include music, movies and TV shows that were purchased from the iTunes Store. If you have music imported from a CD or other source, iTunes can’t transfer this media back to a computer:

IPhone 3GS froze during iOS 5.1.1 update - how do I get out of recovery mode without having to restore?

So I tried to update my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5.1.1, like iTunes told me to do, and it froze part way through the installation for a couple of hours. I tried to "reset" the iPhone by pressing both the home and power buttons simultaneously, but now iTunes tells me my iPhone is in recovery mode. From my limited knowledge, it seems I need to restore my iPhone, but I don't want to lose anything, like my SMS history.
Is there a way to get out of recovery mode without having to restore?

I came across this post as my iPhone 3Gs had gone into recovery mode on its own accord.   I had hundreds of photos unsaved and was gutted when I saw this post, I felt even worse as it was not the information (gdgmacguy) I wanted to read.
Unfortunately, the above post is simply wrong! A system cannot destroy information in a blink of an eye.   If it were that easy, the forensic teams across the world would have a hard time. A criminal could simply force a phone into recovery to remove all the data. Please!
I managed not only to take the phone out of recovery mode but also, salvaged all the data held on it.
To be fair, I am a little annoyed at Apple for not offering a salvage option on the device for such a situation. And it may be that they will not like me sharing this information, in which case I believe this view to be morally wrong because photos are so important. We all make mistakes, in terms of forgetting to backup from time to time.
What I used was the Redsn0w software, running as an administrator in XP compatibility mode. In the ‘Extras’ section it as a Recovery Fix option. It simply runs some software that takes the device out of recovery mode. I had to run it twice for some reason but the second time (out of desperation) worked a treat. The phone is now exactly as it was before it went into recovery mode. More to the point, it allowed me to backup all the photos and videos that I had failed to do before hand. And let’s face it, photos and videos are usually the most valuable stuff we keep on our phones.
I hope this help anyone in the same situation. I really hope someone from apple reads it and is able to convince the bosses that a recovery option is very important. And to take note that YES it is possible to recover data on a phone stuck in recovery mode. And more than likely it would be easier for apple, compared to other non-apple professionals.

How to automatically get a call connected to ear phones?

I own an iphone4 with ios6.0.1. I've a Samsung HM1100 ear phone. I've enabled Bluetooth on my iPhone and it gets connected immediately when my Bluetooth enabled which is very good. Now when I receive a call, my iPhone as well rings and never auto connects to ear phone. Normally if its an earphone or headset then it should auto connect the call, how to achieve the same? Please let me know, thanks.

Press the on/off button once to silence the call and twice to reject it and send to voicemail.

The only way to get an iPod out of recovery mode is to connect it to iTunes and restoring to a previous back up. If there is no back up the data will be lost. Hope this helps!

How do I get my iPhone 5c out of black screen recovery mode?

I have been trying for countless hours and days to get my iPhone 5c out of recovery mode (black screen no apple logo or anything else) the only reason I know it turns on is because the backlight LCD changes color. When I press down on it it leaves a little finger pressure thing. I have tried all of the ways to get it out of DFU mode, Out of Recovery Mode, I have tried restoring it, in which case i get the error 4005,40013 etc. So now I have come here for my last hoorah on trying to get this pile out of recovery mode and the IOS installed and working.
I don't know if this matters or not but, I have recently purchased a screen from ebay, it was an original iPhone screen etc. I have replaced it and as i said the screen works fine. that shouldn't have any problem with the actual software malfunctioning to update, but here is the log! Enjoy!

I ran into the problem you have after trying to update to 7.1.2 the phone updated, but got stuck in recovery mode, and none of the reset methods worked. I did some searching and came up with a simple method, and it got me out of the loop.

How can I get rid of all of the duplicates in my contacts without having to go in one at at time?

Go in Settings. Then in "Itunes & AppStore". Deselect "Music" and "Videos" on top. This would solve the problem with the Music and Videofiles in the cloud, that you seem to see.
The music isn't actually on your iphone. It just shows you what is in the cloud.

Help. how do i get iphone out of recovery mode without having to restore

i have no idea why, but the new update for iphone did not work when i was downloading last night and the phone put itself into recovery mode. i havent synched it with my computer for a while and theres tons of stuff on there that i cant afford to lose if i choose to restore.
after doing a bit of research i found iNdependence and iFuntastic. iNdependence constantly displays 'Status: disconnected waiting for iphone' so i cant do anything on it and iFuntastic i can not find where abouts to click to get the phone out of recovery mode.
if anyone could help that would be fantastic!

Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything... and you must continue with the Recovery...

You may need to try this More than Once... Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps...
Take your time... Pay particular attention to Steps 3 and 4.
After you have Recovered your Device...
Re-Sync your Content or Restore from the most recent Backup...

My iTunes does not list any devices when I plug in my new iPhone to the computer. how do I get iTunes to recognize my new phone?

My old iPhone died, so I just got a new one. I am hooking it up to my computer for the first time. The iTunes on my computer doesn't show any devices as being hooked up to the computer when I plug in my iPhone. Yet my iPhone is charging so I know it is connected to the computer. Make sure that your music is in the format supported by the iPhone. I use either MP3 or AAC.
A friend had the same problem a while back. All his music was in the WMA format and is therefore not playable on the iPhone and would not copy. Once he converted his songs to MP3 they copied to his iPhone without problem.

How do I get 3 ipods on one computer have their own library without having to sync with another one and erasing its content?

So I have a computer that I use for my iPod and my list is the main library that stays on the computer along with any other music my mom buys from her account. Anytime that I want to add music to any of theres, a window pops up saying that I need to sync to the library and erase the existing one they have. I dont want to do that I just want to be able to add any music they want for it without it saying that. My moms can add any music under her account to hers it still goes on to mine but at least it goes to hers. When my dads is attached it asks that question like I said before.
