How do I get my apps off my iPhone onto my mac

I reciently had to replace my HD and now I want to get all my apps off my phone back onto my mac. If I attempt to sync apps, it tells me all my apps and their data on my phone will be replaced with the apps on my mac (there are not any apps on my mac as i have a new HD) and I do not want to have to download them all again or loose any data. Is there a way? Also, now, any apps I have bought since I replaced my HD will not move to my iPhone till I sync it (see my problem here?). Please help.

Hey Niel. Thanks for the help. I have managed to do it. Thanks also for all the helpfull comments about my backup of my HD. I know in theory that I SHOULD be makning backups, but in reality, most of us don't. Will from now on though. Cheers

Click on transfer purchases only works for purchased apps and music, but NOT the music rip from CDs or other sources.

You delete the app as you do any other app. Hold an icon until they wiggle. Tap the "x". This is covered in the manual.

Do you guys use the same computer with itunes on it? And the best way to get them off is to go into the Setting>Itunes & App Store and sign out of her appleid if it's listed there. Also just delete all of the apps from her appleid off your phone.

On iPhone there is not a FaceTime app just simply tap phone go to contacts at the bottom then tap the add button on the top right hand corner fill in their details if an iPad 2 or iPod Touch 4G enter in their email if iPhone enter in their number. To Check wether FaceTime is enabled Go Settings -> Phone -> FaceTime. Is it On or Off? To FaceTime the contact just simply Go<Selected Contact<Look Below > Tap FaceTime

Click sync
By iTunes on your iPhone
Make sure you are logged into the account you purchased the song on
Open iTunes
