How do I get my iTunes music from my iPhone to my new MacBook?

I had a PC that supported my iTunes library for my iPhone but now I have a MacBook Pro and I would like to have my iTunes on my new MacBook synced with my iPhone. I don't know how to do that without wipping my iPhone of its iTunes data. Also, my previous laptop is dead and will not start up even when plugged in. Help?

Well really the best way would have been to copy the iTunes folder from your old laptop to the new.  Failing that, the backup you keep against just such failures.  You cannot rely upon Apple to provide a backup service for you.  The media rights owners could just as easily decide tomorrow to no longer allow multiple downloads again, or they could pull an item from the store and it would not be available to anybody.  There's no replacement for a proper backup and a $100 external drive is peanuts compared to value most people place on their iTunes collections..

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was designed for you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.
