How do I get my podcast featured in the top banner when I have a very popular guest on?

Hello, I recently had Nice Peter from Epic Rap Battles of History on my show and I think the interview is really interesting. I was wondering how I go about submitting for my show to be considered for the top banner in the itunes podcast section?
Do I need to make custom artwork?
Do I need to know someone that works for itunes?
Can I even submit for this or is it just chosen by itunes staff?

Searching just on the category in the iTunes Store is most unlikely to throw up your podcast. There are thousands of podcasts out there, and it would be quite impossible to display on one page the entire list for any category. What you see are 'featured' podcasts, chosen by Apple as being special; please see this Tech Note:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/podcasts/specs.html#getfeatured
Note that there is no way you can influence the selection other than making your podcast really special.

Either sync them via iTunes on the computer to the device or turn on Podcast syncing in Settings > Podcasts on the device.

How do I get my menu bar at the top of the page with no gaps? Whenever I move it there is a huge gap at the top of the page which I cant seem to get rid of, i posted about this before but none of the suggestions seemed to work for me. i'm not very good with css so im not really sure where to find the problem. There are generally gaps everywhere which looks at absolute mess, no clue how they got there and why, there is a huge gap underneath my menu bar too which wasnt there before. how do i get rid of this too? its probably some padding a or margin but no clue where.

How can I get Captivate to revert to the top of the screen for each slide after published?

I have a project captured in 1024x768. If the user has many toolbars in browser, they have to scroll to see the whole screen. If they use F11 in IE, this virtually eliminate the problem. In MAC however, there is no F11 feature. So, how can I get the published Captivate file to load each new screen at the top scroll position? I have tried changing the html and tried adding Multiple Actions on success to click boxes with Go to Next slide and Execute JavaScript command: onload='window.scrollTo(0,1)'. Neither are working. Any idea how to get the screens to stop holding the previous screen position?

Hi GoldenCJ,
Please remove "onload" from your javascript command. The "onload" event is fired when a html page(or any other page for that matter) is loaded. In your case the page is already loaded, that is, the page is loaded again when the user moves from one slide to another. Hence your javascript will not be executed.
So just have
"window.scrollTo(0,0)" as your javascript.
This should work fine.
P.S. The execution of the javascript is browser dependent and browser settings dependent.I tried with chrome,IE 6 and FF 3.5, it is working. Please make sure that your target audience have javascript enabled in their browser.

How can I get my Albums back at the top of the Library Panel?

I recently upgraded to 3.3.2 and among the many new and sublty annoying features, all the smart albums which I created and which used to be at the top of the Library panel now appear at the bottom below the Projects.
Why someone thought this should be moved is beyond me... and I am hoping there is a way for me to bring it back to the top.
In some of my Aperture libraries I have literally hundreds of projects and rely on smart albums to quickly organize photos across them. Having to scroll to the bottom of the pane is a pain!
Does anyone know how I can bring the ALBUMS back to the top of the Library pane?

Create a folder (new Folder), call it "My albums" or similar, and drag it to the top of your projects section in the Library Inspector panel.
Then drag all your albums there.
You will have to set the projects to be arranged manually, or let the name of this folder start with a character that bring it to the top, if you want to sort by name.

How can I get Firefox to stop saving the open tabs when it closes and reinstating them the next time it opens?

Even tho' I've set options for Firefox to delete history when it closes, it still remembers my open tabs and tries to reinstate them the next time it starts. This causes two problems: 1) it takes longer for Firefox to close, such that if I start it again a few sec later it is still running and won't restart; 2) it sometimes reopens websites I am no longer want when it next starts. The latter also makes the last sites I visited visible to the next user, which I (and I suspect most other users) want to avoid. I would like to turn this feature off since it is far more of a problem than a benefit!

I have the same problem.
My settings are already configured to "Show a blank page". It does show a blank page normally, but when FF crashes, it attempts to reload all the tabs from the previous session when it restarts. My version is: Firefox/3.6.13, and I'm running XP sp3 if that matters.

How can I get New Window back to the top as first choice? v4.0 has swapped it with New Tab.I'm using v4.0 on a Mac.

I'm used to clicking on File and having New Window as my first choice. New Tab is now at the top of the list. My brain is slow to make the transition to the new format and I keep choosing New Tab in error. Can I swap them?

As someone who uses predictive typing constantly when I use my iPhone I can understand not having it available would be upsetting. Let's see if we can get you back up and running.
You can activate predictive typing by going to Settings > Keyboard > Predictive and turn it on. See this help article for reference -

If you have just hidden the predictive text suggestions by moving the suggestions bar down you will see just the gray top of that bar. You can drag it up again to regain the view.

I've recently purchased a second hand iPad 2 and it is locked to the Orange network. How can I get it unlocked without paying on top of what I have already done for the device?

Hi, I have recently purchased an iPad 2 and only just found out after trying to use a Giffgaff sim card that it is locked to the Orange network in the UK. I don't want to be paying any extra over and above what I have already paid so my question is, is there any way to get the iPad carrier unlocked via apple or orange. I am waiting a call back from apple today and have read on the web that orange will charge me to unlock it.

Some iPads which were subsidized by the carriers are locked to the carrier, and in that case only the carrier can authorize an unlock. You'll need to talk to Orange, and pay their fee if necessary. They may well only unlock for the original purchaser, in which case you'll need to contact the person from whom you purchased the iPad. Apple can do nothing directly in the matter, since they can only issue the unlock when the carrier provides authorization.

HOW CAN I GET FIREFOX TO OPEN TO THE FIREFOX SCREEN WHEN I CLICK ON THE ICON WITHOUT HAVING TO ENTER MY NAME AND PASSWORD EACH TIME ON MY MAC.

You might want to consider using a simpler home page, ideally one that is on your local drive, so you know Firefox is working even if you don't have a connection.
But your choice is much better than choosing a home page that just interfaces with a search site, when there is a builtin toolbar that can bring up any search that you care to add an engine for.

HT4539 how can i get a book out of the download queue? I have already downloaded it once.

How do I delete a book of my download queue? I already downloaded one copy. I don't want to be charged for another copy.

I THINK I have solved the problem. Can't be 100% because I don't want to try a restore. At least the Apple home page lites up correctly with quicktime now. It hadn't in the past.

How do I get a menu bar at the top of the page?

I upgraded to the latest version of Firefox this morning. I have no menu bar at the top of the page. I did the alt version and then went to help to download the extension like one of the pages said. There were no new extensions.

Every time Firefox opened

Press the Alt key to show the menu bar. Click on View, then Toolbars and tick Menu Bar. Simple as that, it took me 3 hours yesterday to find this out myself by accident.
