We need to have InDesignServer running in more than one configuration. And we need to script them. So to keep easy let's pretend there are 2 instances of InDesignServer running. One startet with 'indesignserver -configuration conf0' and the other started with 'indesignserver -configuration conf1'.
So we try (Visual Basic):

The problem is not to start different instances. In the Windows Task Manager and the console output of InDesign Server I can see, that both instances are running with different configurations. When I use Systems.Diagnostics.Processes.GetProcess() I get both processes too.
But I don't know how to get objects of both instances using the Interop Assembly or (as a runaround) how to cast an object of System.Diagnostics.Process into an object of InDesignServer.Application.
When you talking about SOAP, do you know how to start InDesignServer twice with diffrent ports from inside VB and getting the InDesignServer.Application objects of it?

I am developing a game where by an object can move around the screen by either using the keyboard or the mouse. I have figured out how to control the object using the keyboard. But the mouse control is proving difficult. Can anyone give me some suggestions on how to tackle this?

First of all let me confirm your requirement.. ie you want to get the attribute 'CONFIG_LINE_COL' of type cl_crm_bol_entity_col from the object 'ISUORDERITEM" right ?..
try this code,
data: lr_col type ref to cl_crm_bol_entity_col.
lr_col = me->typed_context->isuorderitem->config_line_col.

How can I get the Doc object from any other object?

in FrameScript it is dead-simple to get to the document part of any object, just add .Doc to the variable.
How can I achieve the same with ExtendScript? I amtired of passing the document object next to AFrames or Pgfs along into subroutines, because those objects already contain the information about their document. But how do I access this?

a mirror For example, I have a class Customer in my application, and I can get an ObjectReference through JDI during runtime. But how can I get the target VM's object which is a real instance of Customer, by which I can invoke methods defined in Customer?

I'm trying to control an ActiveX object (a Web Browser) from another VI and need to get the object reference programmatically. I can get the LabVIEW ActiveXContainer reference, but am lost on how to get the reference for the object _inside_ the container.

The reference to the container is actually also accessing the object inside the container. Use the Property Node and Invoke Node to access properties and launch methods for the object. I've attached a small example that passes the reference to a SubVI and invokes a method inside the SubVI.

I need a way to get to the myflag property on the resources in an object
I have been trying to get to it by first getting the user object...
but how can I get to the properties them self?
If the following is the user object and I need to refer to the different myflag properties in a form?
What I want to do is to make the system NOT change password on accounts where the myflag is set to true

I was missing the default namespace of "http://sapportals.com/xmlns/cm" - I thought I could just pass an empty string for the namespace, but it looks like I must always specifiy, even if it is default.

The SessionEvent's session (getSession()), should be the UnitOfWork. You can access the UnitOfWork or UnitOfWorkImpl methods to access the objects in the unit of work. getUnitOfWorkChangeSet() will return the changes made in the UnitOfWork.

I can't do a calculation after data is loaded because what I'm going to do is that if the opening entry match my condition , the system will not let that user see that entry (bubbleEvent = False).
I think when formDataEvent is triggered B1 know which entry are going to load because before this event is triggered we did one of following ways
1. choose from "choose from list windows"
2. enter docEntry or itemCode or cardCode and then press Find Button
3. press "next/previous record button"
4. press linked button (orange arrow)
Choice 3 and 4 can be done by retrieve data from BusinessObjectInfo.objectKey (I've tested and it return entry key that is going to open correctly).
but 1 and 2 can't (it return empty as I mention before).

By using reflection i am able to get the list of objects and properties in SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.
How can i get a classified list of all objects from the same.
I mean classified with respect to modules.
DI API business objects are grouped to the following modules of SAP Business One application :
Administration
Finance
Marketing Documents and Receipts (Sales - A/R and Purchasing - A/P)
Business Partners
Inventory and Production
MRP
Banking
Service
Humanresource
