How do I get the names of tracks I type in Adobe Audition 3 to copy to the Sony CD-RW CRX217E in my Dell Precision Workstation 670?
I have recorded 10 tracks of voice with music using Adobe Audition 3 and Sony CD-RW CRX217E with no problem.
The problem is, however, that the names I type in Audition 3 for each of the tracks and artist do not copy to the CD I have recorded. This means that when I play the tracks on any playback equipment that shows the names of the tracks and artists, etc. all that appears on the screen is the track number, such as Track 1, Track 2, etc.

Well, there is one possibility, but I can't absolutely confirm this. I had a look at the specification for the drive on the Dell website:
http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/storage/P89087/en/index.htm
and nowhere does it say that the drive supports CD-Text, I'm afraid. Even though all drives can in theory write this, a lot have the header hard-coded, and simply can't. Yours may be one of them, but I think you'll have to ask Dell to confirm this.

Audio CDs do not contain track information. For commercial CDs this information is supplied by the Gracenote service (see below). Each computer gets this information for a particular CD from this service, it isn't on the CD. You would have to register your CD with Gracenote. In my opinion this is a bit much for a personal CD that only a few computers in the world will ever see, but I guess unless they block it then you can do it.

I was told to post this question on the Microsoft Word for Mac forum, but I have no idea how to get to that. After I delete a file, I can no longer access it, but the name and a dotted line outline (but not a picture of the actual document) remain. I want this gone, as it is fairly annoying to be able to see 100+ documents that should no longer exist on my computer. It is cluttered, and someone mentioned that it might have something to do with a setting in microsoft for the number of documents displayed, or something along those lines. Truly dumb question. How do I get PS to actually complete a command, eg straighten an horizon, and finalise the change. Even doing a "save as" with a new file name and reloading brings the image back, straightened, but with the skewed back ground frame still there. Is there a "apply change" or similiar command that I simply cannot see.

PSE did what you told it to do. Choose the Straighten and crop edges or fill edges options when you use the straighten tool if you want it to do more than just straighten the contents of the image. Many people prefer the plain straighten because they'd rather crop themselves than let PSE do it. -

Other people have been having similar problems with songs over the last few days, I assume that there has been a problem with Apple's servers.
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting those tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those songs and use the 'Report a Problem' link. -
