I five columns of numbers. I want to find the three highest numbers in the row of five numbers and add them together.
it would be something like;
A B C D E Highest three number added
25 25 24 24 25 75

I need to develop a custom RF settings for Scaner. I have gone through the SAP Provided documentation. SAP Has given in report we need to call Screen.
Every thing is clear for me... creating report, screen, triggering messages, customization.. etc. <b>My question</b> is what are naming conventions i need to use. it's custom Transaction. When ever we scan the Barcode, how that value is passing to initial screen of my Program. how can i keep it in SAP Memory. once after getting the value it's anormal transaction. i can code for that. how can i get the scaned value.

Most (of my) customers use their scanners in keyboard simulation mode. Than it's like typing the number (or character) of the barcode. -> You need an input (char) field. Most (all?) scanners can be programmed to add a constant at the end -> use 'enter' and you get your PAI triggered.
Then scanning is same as typing 11 (or 13 or whatever) numbers on keyboard.
Other option would be, using scanner in native mode. But then you need a kind of device driver, which calls SAP via RFC. Possible, but more complex (because of missing alternative 'keyboard' in case of trouble).
What happens, if scanner can't read barcode, but user can identify numbers below -> you need anyway char-input field reacting on keyboard, too.

The Properties class is already a subclass of Hashtable. So if you have a Properties object, you already have a Hashtable. So all you need to do is the first part of that:Properties props = new Properties();

I'm using 10 buttons all are having common action('click'). when i click a button the 'text' value of the button should pass to a function.So the action is same but the passed value will be the 'text' value of the corresponding button. How to get the request scope values?

I have one question about Struts validate framework question is How can i get the request scope values when the validate method throws an exception?
My scenario is I have some values in the request scope in one page. After submitting the page the validate method throws an exception, then the errors were displayed in the page and it ask for provide correct information. However, at this time the values in the first request will become null. How can I get those request values?
Request.setAttribute(�con�, conn);Link after click this link user will display with user reg. form with user details input fields. After submitting he user details form if user provide some invalid information then validate method in Action form will throw errors and displayed the User details form with errors. However, the request attribute �con� will become null at this point of time. How can I get the user request attribute in user details form?

Getting the dashboard prompt value

I there a way on how can i get the dashboard prompt value when using other operators beside equal/is in. It seems that you can only set a presentation variable using the equal/is in operator.
Also how can i get prompt value when using multi-select control?

Hi. Yes, presentation variable is only for is equal to/is in.
But no need to use other operators ( is less than or equal to, etc) if you want to write data in presentation variable, use equal/is in if you want to show data that is for example less and set presentation variable and in the report instead if IS PROMPTED write advanced SQL filter like:
TABLE.COLUMN <= '@{pv}'
You asked also how can to get prompt value when using multi-select control?
No way to do that. But what do you need that information for. Lets say that you are able to do that and you put multiple values from multi-select into variable, where do you need to present that data? In the report? No need for that because the report is already filtered by it.

Getting the last selected value of the combo - very very urgent...........

On my panel i have a jcombobox in upper half(which displays say the address type.) and few text fields on the lower half(which displays the add details). when the user selects a value in the combo box the text fields are populated based on the selection. The user can change the values displayed in the text fields. So before setting the new values in the text fields the last displayed values need to be saved.
I have an ActionListener for my combo which gives me the currently selected value by calling getSelecetdItem()
How can i get the last selcted value of the combobox without using any variable of my own.

To update the last displayed details(the address details say) i need to check what type of address the combo had previousely.....
when i display the panel first time the home address is set by default and i have a variable to hold this value..as the user changes the selection i update the variable...I don't want to use this variable..instead if i can get the last selcted value from the event that would be great...

LabView has a VI that does that.
From your diagram, goto the Analyze palette, then select Waveform Monitoring, then Waveform Peak Detection.vi. You specify the threshhold and width and the VI tells you how many peaks it found and their location and amplitude. If you want to see the highest two peaks, you can use the Array Max and Min function (on the Array palette) and then search the array for the next highest: use a For loop to auto-index the array, a shift register for the next highest value (initilized to 0 or some number below any of your expected values), and search for a value > prvious but < max.

In your backing bean you will need to add a new variable to bind your control to, I think this variable needs to be of teh "HtmlSelectManyCheckbox" type. The on your jsp page you can add binding="#{myBean.myVariable}".
When you want to get the values of the selectMany in your backing bean, you can call the getSelectedValues() function on your HtmlSelectManyCheckbox variable.

Just think of dynpros as windows into the global memory of your program... so if you want the value of a field on dynpro 1234 to appear on dynpro 2345, then just pop the value into a global variable (i.e. one defined in your top include), and you will be able to see it in your second dynpro (assuming you make the field formats etc the same on both screens!).
